Chapter 25 Gossip Boyfriend
"Who did it? What's on the video?"
"Your killing of those two rapists, and you walking out of the hospital in a car with Elsa, were all filmed. None of it's a big deal, but if the videos are revealed, the Sanders Group's rivals will be happy to throw gasoline on the fire."
"So soon you know. Looks like I'm getting a new assistant." Nicholas narrowed his eyes, and there was a cold light in them that wanted to kill.
"No, the news hasn't spread. The gossip reporter who took the video and I barely know each other, and he knows the consequences of putting it online."
"Hmph, instead of coming to blackmail me, I went to you, so it looks like it's not a problem that money can solve."
"Brother, you always see through things at a glance. But he's also a smart man. Being able to make the acquaintance of the future heir of the Sanders family is more valuable than asking for a sum of money."
"If he's smart, it's even easier. Smart people always have a lot of desires, and with desires come weaknesses."
Nicholas relaxed as he untied the ropes binding Elsa and gently hugged her, patting her back.
Nicholas then lit a cigarette and went to the window, looking at the black sky with the downward-spiraling moon, thinking about something.
"The man is with me now, so ......" Hugh inquired, actually knowing what Nicholas would choose.
The clock on the wall showed that it was now midnight, and Nicholas glanced at the sky, where a cloud obscured the moon.
"I'll be there." After a simple answer, Nicholas hung up.
He turned towards Elsa, curled up on the bed, and said gently, "You're tired, so rest early. I will take care of some things, so there’s no need to wait for me to return."
"It's already so late. You'd better rest at home." Elsa's eyes were full of worry for Nicholas. The wound on his shoulder had already split open once again from the intense intercourse earlier.
"Don't worry, I know myself well. It would be better if you worried about yourself. Hahaha." Nicholas was just trying to scare Elsa a little bit, to regain the dignity he had just lost by cumming too fast.
Elsa blocked Nicholas' view with a blanket. She was both shy and scared, "Go ahead and come back early to rest when you're done."
"You'd better hire a yoga instructor. Your body is less flexible than it was a few months ago."
Nicholas left the secret villa after placing a light kiss on an overwhelmed Elsa's forehead.
......
Until early the following day.
Elsa awakens from her deep sleep and realizes Nicholas has been gone all night.
The bed shows signs of their intercourse last night, but now the hero is nowhere to be found.
Elsa thought: he had a serious look when he left last night, and what could make him go out late at night was probably necessary. Maybe it had something to do with killing someone to save Maggie yesterday.
"Oh man, I have class today!"
Elsa couldn't be bothered to meditate and hurriedly got up to wash and prepare for school.
Elsa is still an ordinary girl who loves studying and cherishes her university time.
It was her last year of university study, and some of her classmates continued their studies and graduated. At the same time, many more chose to do internships at large companies to have a good chance of getting a decent job after graduation.
Elsa preferred the former; she wanted to go to graduate school, and she enjoyed the purely academic atmosphere of the school. She had thought that she would become a college teacher in the future.
There weren't many people in the classroom during the morning session, and the teacher wasn't interested in teaching the class correctly, but that didn't stop Elsa from focusing on her self-study.
Time passed quickly, and after classes ended at noon, Elsa asked her best friend, Lola Wheatley, to meet her for lunch.
Lola has been Elsa's best friend since she was a little girl. They go to the same university but don't see each other often because they study different majors.
"Elsa, what are you up to these days?" Lola was a very cheerful, spirited girl.
She took Elsa's hand and walked into the restaurant, "I've been looking for you so many times, and this time you're finally willing to ask me out to dinner."
"Graduation is coming up soon, and there's much homework. And as you know, I have a part-time job to do." Elsa loosened her shoulders.
They lined up to get their food, and Lola made a face at Elsa and said with a grin, "I thought you were busy being in love. Do you have a boyfriend now? It's the fourth year now, and I don't have any regrets in college."
"Can you think about something other than men in your head?" Elsa pretended to be angry.
"It's so weird, you're so pretty. Are all the boys in school blind? I can't believe they let such a beautiful rose like you be alone for three years!" Lola was full of regret. "If I were you, I'd change my boyfriend weekly."
"Hahaha, I am indeed busy. And I don't find falling in love that romantic." Elsa was telling the truth. It was true that her relationship with Nicholas could not be described as romantic.
Soon after they picked up their food, they found a table and made it.
Lola put a piece of fruit in her mouth and said vaguely, "A woman has to find time to fall in love; otherwise, your college life will be imperfect."
Lola cracked her fingers and kept a count of each name: "Jason, Mike, Kerry, Ralph, Tom, and Leo! I had six boyfriends in college. You, on the other hand, have had none. I feel sorry for your pretty face."
Elsa disagreed with Lola's view of love and knocked on Lola's head with a spoon, "I'm not as attractive as you are. Besides, I think having one boyfriend who genuinely loves you is enough. Six boyfriends, that's too much."
Lola wasn't as pretty as Elsa, but she was sexy enough. She exercised a lot, had a beautifully curved body, and was rightfully favored by the boys.
The two girls ate and talked about their childhood stories as if they were back in high school.
Lola took a bite of her salad and stared at Elsa with regret.
Elsa was puzzled, "Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?"
Lola sighed and said regretfully, "Did you have contact with Mark?"
"Who?" Elsa asked subconsciously as she went into a deep trance.
"Mark Steven, our most handsome classmate from high school, your - rumored boyfriend."
