Chapter 29

Fear consumed Selina. Was she really going to be raped? Felix, the guy she trusted was really going to rape her.

There was no amount of struggling that stopped Felix from doing what he wanted to do. He had hunger in his eyes. Like blood last, he wanted to quench his thirst. He was Rick hard above Selina.

He started dropping kisses all over her neck, her face, her chest, despite Selina's pleas.

“Felix, please stop” Selina pleaded severally but he didn't pay attention to whatever she was saying. He was a man on a mission and his mission was to claim her.

“Once I claim you, you'll be mine forever, mine to keep.” Felix said dangerously with a glint in his eyes.

As he was about to rip Selina's clothes off her body and claim her, there was a knock on the door which caused him to momentarily stop. He paused to listen to who it was.

“Selina!” Amara called out.

Selina looked happy, finally someone has come to her rescue, to save her. A saviour atlas. She had hope that she would be free from the hands of this demon.

“Selina. Where are you?? I missed your call and I rushed here as soon as I could as I kept trying your line and you weren't answering. Cone and open the door.”

Felix looked Selina dead in the eyes and warned her. “Dismiss her.”

Selina shook her head “I won't. That's my one chace on leaving your deranged life. I won't dismiss her.”

Felix laughed. “You think you have a choice? I know where your families are. I've been keeping track of them for a long while now. Yours and Amara's. If you don't dismiss her, your whole family dies and it'll be on you because at the end, you chose that.” Felix warned.

“You can't do that. You won't do that.” Selina said, her voice barely audible.

Felix smirked. “Try me.”

Meanwhile, Amara was outside still trying to get ahold of Selina's phone by calling her several times.

“Oh God, Selina where have you dropped your phone?” Amara muttered to herself.

Inside, Selina couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to her family and Amara's family and being the cause of it, knowing fully well she put them there and she had the power to stop it.

“Tik tok, Selina. The time is going. Make a choice.” Felix taunted her.

Selina sighed. “Alright. I'll tell her nothing is wrong.” She said

As Felix's ominous presence loomed over her, Selina felt a shiver run down her spine. His cold, calculating eyes bore into hers, his voice dripping with menace as he issued his commands.

"Tell Amara to leave, come up with something," he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Selina hesitated, her mind racing with fear and desperation. She knew she had to comply, at least for now. "But why? She hasn't done anything wrong," she protested weakly, hoping to appeal to whatever semblance of reason remained in Felix.

Felix's expression hardened, his patience wearing thin. "Don't question me, Selina. Just do as you're told, you've made your choice already." he snapped, his voice laced with danger.

Selina swallowed hard, her resolve faltering. She glanced over at Amara, who stood outside, unaware of the impending danger. With a heavy heart, Selina forced herself to nod. "Okay, I'll... I'll tell her," she conceded, her voice barely above a whisper.

As she approached the door, her hands were shaking and her mind raced with conflicting emotions. She knew she had to play along, at least for now, but every fiber of her being screamed for escape, for freedom from Felix's suffocating grip.

"Amara, I... I think it's best if you leave, now isn't a good time.," Selina forced out, her voice trembling with suppressed emotion.

Amara's brow furrowed in confusion. "Leave? Why? What's going on?" she asked, her concern evident and tryingto peep into the house.

Selina struggled to maintain her composure, to keep up the facade of compliance. "Felix and I are having a very serious discussion so you have to go, please," she pleaded, her heart breaking at the thought of betraying her friend.

Amara's eyes widened in realization as she noticed Felix in a corner, blood dripping from his hands, a mixture of fear and understanding flickering across her features. "Has he... has he threatened you?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Selina's breath caught in her throat, her eyes darting nervously to where Felix stood, watching their exchange with an intensity that sent chills down her spine. She knew she couldn't speak the truth, not with Felix's menacing presence looming over them.

"I... I can't say," Selina replied evasively, her voice barely above a whisper. "But please, Amara, just go. Please."

Amara nodded slowly, her expression filled with sadness and resignation. "Alright," she murmured, her voice barely audible as she turned to leave.

As Amara disappeared from left, Selina's heart sank with guilt and despair. She knew she did the right thing by sending her friend away to protect her and her family.

Feigning discomfort, she doubled over, clutching her stomach in feigned agony.

"Felix," she gasped, her voice strained with pain, "I... I think I need to go to the bathroom."

Felix's brow furrowed in annoyance, but he nodded curtly. "Fine, but make it quick," he growled, his eyes narrowing suspiciously.

Selina nodded, her heart pounding with anticipation. As Felix approached to assist her, she forced herself to lean heavily on him, using his proximity to mask the tremble of excitement that coursed through her veins.

With careful steps, Felix guided Selina towards the bathroom. And as they reached the door, she braced herself for the moment, knowing that her next move could mean the difference between freedom and captivity.

"Here we are," Felix grunted, pushing open the door with a rough shove.

Selina nodded gratefully, summoning every ounce of acting skill she possessed. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper as she stepped inside.
