Chapter 161 The Happiness We’ve Been Waiting For
Behind the warmth of Borne Palace's main hall, which peaked with the celebration of Alpha Rolex and Sera's reunion, Cimone's rage consumed his entire consciousness. Losing the entire wealth of the Moza Group to Rolex's shell company, AXIOS, stripped him of his sanity. He knew there was no turning back.
Breathing heavily with bloodshot eyes, Cimone brushed off the guards who were trying to drag him out. He stepped forward two paces, glaring sharply at Rolex, who stood gracefully on the podium beside Sera and baby Leon.
"Rolex! You cunningly stole everything from me!" Cimone screamed, his voice booming to cut through the party music. "If you are truly a real Alpha and not just a cowardly businessman hiding behind share certificates, face me!"
Rolex paused, looking at Cimone with a raised eyebrow. "Face you? You're bankrupt, Cimone. You have nothing left to wager."
"I wager my life!" Cimone shrieked in desperation. "Fight me! Outside this palace, in the silent valley of the western border! Just you and me, no weapons, no troops, no damn political intrigues! If you win, I will crawl out of this land. But if I win, give back all of Moza Group's assets!"
Sera tightened her grip on Rolex's fingers, looking at her mate with slight concern. "Rolex, there's no need to entertain the anger of a frustrated man like him."
However, Rolex smiled faintly, gently caressing Sera's fingers and kissing the forehead of their fast-asleep little son, baby Leon. "Let me resolve this once and for all, Sera. A dying snake must be ensured it stops breathing so it won't bite in the future."
Rolex turned to face Cimone, his silver eyes flashing with an Alpha's signature glow that radiated an aura of absolute dominance. "Accepted, Cimone. The silent valley, ten minutes from now."
\---
The Western Border Valley was cloaked in a thin night mist. Towering pine trees stood in a circle, creating a quiet and cold natural arena. The night wind blew hard, sweeping dry leaves across the ground.
Even though Cimone asked for a private duel, news of the fight spread rapidly. All the elders, allied clan leaders, and party guests moved along the border, standing on the edge of the hill to watch the fight from a distance. They wanted to see for themselves the ultimate fate of the main backer of Maya's cruelty.
Cimone took off his expensive suit jacket, threw it onto the ground, and unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt. The muscles in his arms surged as a wild wolf aura erupted from his body. His eyes glowed yellow.
"You made a huge mistake agreeing to this duel, Rolex!" Cimone growled, dropping to all fours, ready to pounce. "I was a frontline fighter before I became a businessman!"
Rolex stood composed in the middle of the arena. He only shed his noble fur cloak, leaving a black shirt that fitted his muscular body, which was covered in battle scars. His face remained calm, showing no sign of panic.
"All talk and no action is the hallmark of a loser, Cimone," Rolex said coldly. "Come at me."
With a loud roar that shattered the silence of the night, Cimone charged forward. His movements were blisteringly fast, like lightning flashing across the wet ground. He unleashed a barrage of strikes toward Rolex's face and chest with enough power to shatter a normal human's ribs.
Crack! Crack!
Yet, Rolex moved with supreme efficiency. Without needing to shift his footing drastically, Rolex dodged left and right with incredible composure. Cimone's powerful strikes met only empty air.
"Is this all Maya's financial backer is capable of?" Rolex taunted amidst the onslaught.
"Shut your mouth!" Cimone screamed hysterically. He leaped into the air, attempting to crush Rolex with a lethal spinning kick.
That was when Rolex made his move. His silver eyes flashed sharply. With the wild reflexes of a supreme Alpha, Rolex caught Cimone's ankle in mid-air and slammed his body into the ground with devastating force.
BOOM!
The ground shook, scattering dust and dry leaves into the air. Cimone spat a mouthful of fresh blood as his body struck the earth. The guests on the hill held their breath, witnessing the Alpha's absolute dominance.
Cimone groaned in pain, but the burning vengeance forced his body to get back up. Gasping for air with a face covered in blood, he tried to deliver a final, desperate strike to Rolex's neck.
Rolex didn't dodge this time. He intercepted the punch by catching it with a single palm. The sound of crunching bones echoed as Rolex crushed Cimone's knuckles.
"AAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!" Cimone shrieked loudly, dropping to his knees from the excruciating pain.
"This fight was over the moment you decided to fund the atrocities against Sera," Rolex whispered right into Cimone's ear.
With a swift, calculated front kick to the chest, Rolex launched Cimone ten meters back until he crashed into a massive pine tree trunk. The tree cracked, and Cimone slumped weakly on the ground, unable to move a single limb. His battle aura extinguished completely.
Cimone raised his violently trembling hand, his eyes reflecting absolute terror. "M-mercy... I... I surrender, Rolex... I surrender..."
The guests who watched the brief yet terrifying fight cheered loudly from the hill. Absolute victory belonged to the Alpha.
Rolex walked over to the sprawling Cimone, looking down at him coldly. "You don't deserve to die on Silvermoon soil. Your death would be too quick a payment for the pain your victims suffered."
Rolex turned his face toward the Grand Elder and the guards, who immediately came down to the arena.
"Grand Elder," Rolex called out firmly. "Cimone has lost the sacred duel. Strip him of all citizenship rights, seize all his remaining assets without exception, and exile him off this island along with Maya. Ensure he can never set foot on clan territory ever again."
"Orders received, Alpha!" the Grand Elder and the guards answered in unison.
Two guards dragged Cimone's helpless body across the wet earth toward the exile ship waiting at the outer dock. Cimone's cries of despair slowly faded, swallowed by the roar of the night waves.

A few months had passed since the night of judgment in the Western Valley. The storm of political intrigue, Maya's treason, and the threat of the Moza Group had completely collapsed, leaving behind a peace never before felt at Silvermoon Palace.
The morning sun cast a warm light through the windows of the palace's master bedroom. A gentle breeze carried the scent of lavender blooming in the royal garden.
On the large bed draped in white silk sheets, Sera woke up with a smile spreading across her lips. She turned her head to find Rolex lying beside her, propping his head up with one hand while gazing at her affectionately. Between the two of them, baby Leon was kicking his little legs, giggling softly as he played with his father's fingers.
"Good morning, my Queen," Rolex whispered softly, leaning in to kiss Sera's lips warmly.
"Good morning, my Alpha," Sera replied tenderly, stroking Rolex's sharp jawline, which now radiated a tranquility free from the burdens of war.
"Look who woke up early today," Rolex said as he shifted his attention to baby Leon, tickling the little baby's belly until his tiny laughter filled the room. "Our little prince looks more and more like me, doesn't he?"
Sera chuckled softly, resting her head against Rolex's broad shoulder and gently petting their son's soft hair. "Of course, he is your most precious blood. The future heir of Borne."
"All evil has been wiped out, Sera," Rolex said in a tone filled with deep gratitude, gathering Sera and baby Leon into his warm, protective embrace. "There is no more Maya, no more Cimone, and no more fear. There is only the three of us."
"Yes, Rolex," Sera whispered in deep peace, closing her eyes to enjoy the warmth of their little family. "Finally, we are truly together."
Under the bright sky of Borne, their fate—once torn apart by cruelty—was now woven back together seamlessly. Alpha Rolex, Sera, and baby Leon lived happily ever after, leading their kingdom into an eternal era of peace and glory.
