Conflict

Helena:

I open my eyes because of the cell phone,it was ringing loudly near my ear,I was tired,so I close my eyes and would ask Matew to hang up for me,but as soon as I pass my hand on my side,he was not there,so I open my eyes again,sit up and look around.

"Matew?"

I call him,but I don't even get a response,so apparently he wasn't in the room,maybe not even at home. I grab my cell phone and turn off the alarm,look to see if there was any message from my future husband,but there wasn't even one.

I get out of bed and put on a shirt of Matew that was on the chair,go to the bathroom,do my needs every morning and then back to the room,look at my clothes lying on the floor,then start picking them up and folding them. I was well concentrated when the door is opened with brutality,I look thinking it was the owner of the house,but it was not.

"I'm sorry,I didn't know there were women in the house." Abraham says embarrassed.

"Matew also didn't let you know you were coming,you need something,are you after him?"

"Yes,I needed some documents,where is he and what are you doing here?"

"I also don't know where your father is,I woke up now and he wasn't here anymore and about me,I live here now,maybe I don't know yet and so I won't tell you about,I think that information who has to give you is Matew."

"You're not going to tell me that he really fell in love with yet another golddigger." He says dismissively.

"With all the respect I want you to have with me,I ask you to please leave,if you don't like me here or with your father that's fine,this wasn't one of the wisest choices for my psychology,but I'm not a golddigger and it took me a long time to accept you're and stay with him,it will be a risk for both of us."

"I bet that baby isn't even his."

"That's right,the baby is your brother's,I was cheated by him,just like your father was in the past."

"I imagine you are a scammer just like Victor,I bet you are working together so you can get the rest of my father's money."

"Excuse me Abraham."

I grab some clean clothes and go to the bathroom,I lock myself in there and take a quiet shower,after I finish I dry myself,put on my clothes and stare at my reflection in the mirror,I already imagined that people would think I was a mercenary and a scammer,that's why I refused to be with Matew,but when I gave in,I was forced to accept this kind of thing,so I can't let these words from Abraham shake me,they won't.

I came out of the bathroom and he was no longer in the room,so I took a slower breath,organized the room and then went to the kitchen,made some coffee and saw what to eat as a side dish,so I found a banana cake in the fridge,picked it up and put it on the table,sat down at the table and served myself,sat there eating slowly and listening to his hysterical talk,he was angry with his father because of me.

After a few minutes he comes in and goes to the kitchen, sits down and starts to eat.

"You don't need all this,I already said that I don't want to do anything bad to your father,if you believe that,our lives from now on will be good."

"I don't trust you,you are too young and you are with an older man with a lot of money,you can't be believed and I won't let you be together."

"Good luck in this endeavor of yours."

"You don't believe I can do it?"

"I do, maybe ... but I believe that Matew will not leave me,we have been together for a little while,we have established a serious relationship in a short time,but we were already living like boyfriends,he really likes me and I have immense affection for him,his father was and was by my side in the most difficult times for me as a wife and mother,I owe everything to him."

"That doesn't make sense,you are too young for him!".

"I know,but he offered me security,comfort,caring,peace,stability and fatherly affection for my baby,so to me it makes the most sense,you want it or not I will do my best to stay with him and repay some of all he does for me,I will strive to take care of him and not care about the mean comments and we will be happy."

"Fine,do what you think is best,but none of these lines of yours have changed my thoughts about you and maybe my father won't believe it,but time will tell and show me that I was right all along."

"All right,I hope you don't miss our wedding,I want you to be the best man and you will get the invitation soon."

I smile and leave his presence,go to the garden and stare at the flowers,the sun was beating down on them and how much they opened,they seemed to smile with joy. I take a deep breath,I would be strong,I should be,for this baby in my belly,we deserved to have happy times again.

It was hard to start a relationship and already have someone hate you,but it's okay,Matew really liked me and that was all that matters.

"So beautiful."

I hear the deep voice near my ear and feel strong arms hug me around the waist,I turn to the same and smile wide,then hug him tightly.

"Matew! Good morning!"

"You are really excited and I believe the reason is my son."

He says seriously,but still gentle.

"He is jealous of you,or just wanting to take care of his father,we know the problems he had."

"I already told him that I'm not a child,that the way.I got up the other times,if it happens again,it will be the same way,I always turn it around."

"Don't get him wrong,please."

"All right."

"But where were you,I looked for you when I woke up and you were gone."

"I went shopping for you guys,since you arrived,I haven't made a decent purchase,you guys need to eat well."

"Thanks love."

I smile happy for your concern for us.

"And my secretary is interviewing some women to take care of things around the house, you can't. How many do you think you need, three?"

"Do you really think it's necessary?"

"Very much, you can't try too hard, and the mansion is too big, it takes a lot of effort."

"Fine, you know and choose." I smile. "Have you eaten anything?"

"I haven't eaten much."

"Then I'll make lunch and then organize the house."

"Okay."

He kisses me and then we go inside,I went to make lunch,while he talked as peacefully as possible with his son,who looked more like a child throwing a tantrum,but it would pass,it's just a phase.
