Chapter 31 Leverage and Possession
Chapter 31 Leverage and Possession
Alpha Eugene and Alpha Karl quietly leave, but Alpha Kyran follows us into the large, quiet room meant for the Brazikian Jiu-jitsu. Another instructor was standing there with one other student, who immediately ducked his head the minute Alpha Kyran approached him.
"Is this your sparring partner, Alpha?"
"Yes," Eros answered, wrapping his hands and knees in protective gear. Without a word to me, he handed me a pair, too.
I swallowed hard and accepted it, then wrapped around my hands and my knees before stepping in beside him.
My mind drifted to Knox, and I bit down on my lips hard, guilt threatening to cripple me. I turned to Eros, who was pushing his hair back, tying it into a tight bun, before wrapping a headband around his forehead.
He looked the same. Quiet, almost like he didn't want to engage.
"Alright. We are doing the Kimura today. Alphas, I am going to label you. A and B. Remember, leverage, synchronise, locks, and trust. This isn't a real spar. Take care of your partner."
I nodded, swallowing hard.
"You are B," the instructor said, gesturing to me. "Alpha, please lead carefully."
Eros said nothing as the instructor walked towards Alpha Kyran and his partner. "You are B," he said to the partner, then turned to Alpha Kyran. "Please lead carefully."
He stepped back. "Remember. Leverage, control. Understand the geometry of each other's bodies. Now, Bs, please lie down on your backs, legs spread open."
I slowly went to the floor, parting my legs a little.
"Wider," the instructor said to me.
I moved, my chest heaving hard, parting my legs a little more.
Eros was standing over me, watching me. For a second, I saw it flicker. The raw hunger when he kissed me in his room. The way his eyes followed the lines of my body, the way his throat worked before he turned away.
"As, now. Get between their legs. Wrap your arms around theirs. Tight. Capture the wrists first."
Eros slowly lay between my legs. For a moment, the world narrowed to the feel of his weight settling on me, bringing unnodden flashbacks of him above me, in only a towel, his hand cupping my neck as he tasted the secrets I held on my tongue but would never really speak out loud.
He closed the space between our torsos, his chest an inch away from mine, his head a little inch lower than mine.
I held my breath, my chest heaving hard. He moved even closer, till his lips could brush mine of either of was brave enough, till his breath fanned my skin and set me ablaze.
"Perfect," the instructor called. "Now apply the lock. Use your whole body. Coiled hug. Tight."
Alpha Eros moved, wrapping around me like he had always belonged there, like he always knew how to hold me down. To keep me here.
My muscles screamed, but I could barely feel the sting, as his weight, his presence, his essence weighed in heavier than any other thing.
"Perfect," the instructor said, clapping once. "Change positions. Swift, fast."
I moved till I was between Eros's legs, my body pressing down on his. His eyes locked onto mine, like he was no longer hiding from eye contact. I reached for his wrist, and his fingers gently threaded between mine, filling the space between my fingers. I pushed forward, till I was right above him, my chest flush against his, my lips parting as I took in the darkness of his eyes, the raw ache etched in his soul.
"Why him?" He suddenly asked, his voice a low, intimate whisper.
I met his eyes, my heart hammering in my chest. I held his wrist tight, the instructor's guidance falling away.
"I..." I started to say, my voice breaking. "You... where did you go?"
"Why?" He asked, reaching up, his fingers hovering between us, but not touching me. "Did you miss me? You were with him throughout. Have you earned the right to miss me?"
My lower lip shook, and he looked down at it, then broke into a small laugh. "You kissed him again, didn't you, Kian?"
"I did," I admitted, moving my body to wrap around his, in a hug that felt like I was holding the pieces of what had shattered between us than anything else.
He was still in my hands, unmoving.
"I am sorry," I whispered against the soft flesh of his neck against the point where his pulse was strongest.
"Meet me at the lake tonight." He turned, his eyes meeting mine. "Meet me and show me how sorry you are."
I felt my breath hitch in my throat, my body submitting to his despite being the one who should be holding him down.
In one swift move, he turned us, his hand lacing in my hair as he pinned me down, my legs wrapping around his waist, my chest heaving hard.
I looked up. The instructor looked like he was concentrating on Alpha Kyran and his now grappling partner, almost like he was avoiding us. His eyes darted to us once, and he turned to make sure he was completely backing us, like he was pretending we weren't right there.
"You..." Eros said, causing me to look back to him, as his fingers gently ran down the edge of my face. His skin was soft, warm, with a few rough edges from the years of duelling and exercise. "You look much better under me."
My eyes darted down to his lips, and hell, I hated how much I wanted him to close the distance, to stake his claim all over again. Paint me in the colours of the sin I have come to desire so much.
I could see it in his eyes, too. The way his eyes lingered on my lips, with a possessiveness that felt like he wanted to erase the taste of Knox. He started to lean in.
Everyone else immediately faded away, like they were never there. Like nothing else mattered.
"Eros," I whispered right before his lips brushed mine, drawing the breath away from me, causing my heart to shatter into pieces that reflected two different faces.
The door suddenly burst open, and Knox ran in, his chest heaving, his eyes wide as they fell on Eros and I.
"Knox," I said, my chest heaving with guilt and self-loathing and a desire that I was too weak to mask. All of my body seemed to lock, like the guilt was fighting the desire, and it wasn't clear which would win.
"What are you doing here?" The instructor asked, his voice low.
Knox never looked away from me. "I want to join this sport," he said, his voice breaking. "I... I might need a partner, and... I... I think he is occupied."
I started to move, but Eros tightened his grip on me, keeping me locked beneath him.
"You are right, Knox," Eros said, his eyes never leaving mine. "He is occupied."
Without letting the words fully sink, he leaned down, taking my lips.
