Chapter 111

Chapter 111

Sierra glanced over at Lana, her expression filled with concern. As they both looked around, they realized that their flight had already landed. Adelmo scanned the area, not noticing anyone suspicious. The werewolves on board were in their human forms, blending in with the rest of the passengers. Slowly, everyone began to gather their belongings and make their way off the plane. Sierra, Lana, and Adelmo followed suit, grabbing their things before heading towards the next terminal for their flight back to New Orleans.

Arriving at their gate, they were surprised to see that a significant number of people from their previous flight were also on the same connecting flight. Adelmo couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, unsure of why so many were on the same journey. As the announcement for boarding came, they handed over their tickets and proceeded to board the plane. Finding their seats, they stowed away their belongings and settled in for the journey ahead. Time seemed to pass quickly, and before they knew it, the flight attendants were already preparing for takeoff.

Adelmo, Lana, and Sierra exchanged glances, a silent agreement passing between them to stay vigilant. Adelmo kept a watchful eye on the passengers around them, trying to gauge if there was anything amiss. The flight back to New Orleans was uneventful, but the feeling of being watched lingered in the back of their minds. As they landed in New Orleans, they couldn't shake off the sense of unease that had settled over them during the flight. Little did they know, their journey was far from over, and they would soon find themselves embroiled in a series of unexpected events.

Sierra leans in closer to Lana, her voice barely above a whisper, "Lana, remember that last flight we took? I had the strangest dream."

Lana's expression shifts to one of concern as she asks, "What kind of dream?"

Sierra hesitates before responding, "It was really weird. I dreamt that the werewolves from the flight dragged me to the back room and were up to something."

Lana's eyes widen in surprise as she processes Sierra's words.

She quickly turns to Adelmo, leaning in to whisper, "Adelmo, I need to tell you something."

Adelmo looks at her curiously, prompting Lana to explain, "Sierra had the same dream as us. She dreamt about the werewolves taking her to the back of the plane too."

Adelmo's expression shifts to confusion as he turns to Sierra, asking, "Did you dream about being taken to the back of the plane as well?"

Sierra nods, puzzled by the connection. Adelmo muses, "It's strange how we all had the same dream. Not sure what it means, but it's definitely something worth noting."

Sierra's recount of her dream sends a shiver down Lana's spine. The thought of werewolves lurking in the shadows of the plane was enough to make her uneasy. Lana couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as she shared the revelation with Adelmo. The mystery of why they all had the same dream lingered in the air, adding an eerie layer to their conversation.

Adelmo's reaction mirrored Lana's own confusion. The idea of a shared dream experience was both intriguing and unsettling. As he tried to make sense of the situation, Adelmo couldn't help but wonder about the significance of their dreams. The connection between them seemed to go beyond mere coincidence, leaving them all with a sense of unease.

Sierra's dream had opened up a new realm of possibilities, one that left them all questioning the boundaries between reality and dreams. The strange occurrence had brought them together in a shared experience that defied explanation. As they pondered the implications of their dreams, a sense of foreboding hung in the air, casting a shadow over their previous flight experience.

Sierra's face contorted with confusion as she responded, "Wait, hold on. How is it even possible for three people to have the same dream? And why would I dream the same thing as you two?"

Adelmo, with a calm demeanor, replied, "Well, Lana and I share a special bond, which is why we have these shared dreams. But as for you, I have no idea why it happened."

Sierra's curiosity peaked as she asked, "If we all had the same dream, what were they trying to accomplish?"

Adelmo's voice grew serious as he answered, "They were attempting to convert you into a werewolf."

Sierra's nerves started to kick in, and fear crept into her voice as she pleaded, "Will you do everything in your power to prevent that from happening?"

Lana, with a reassuring tone, chimed in, "You can trust him. Adelmo will go to great lengths to protect both of us."

Adelmo nodded in agreement and added, "She's right. I will do everything I can to keep you safe. However, I'm a bit puzzled. You mentioned that you're a witch but don't practice it. According to my understanding, you shouldn't be susceptible to their conversion. If they try to convert you, you would perish instead."

Sierra's confusion lingered as she questioned, "How do you know all of this?"

Adelmo's eyes held a hint of mystery as he revealed, "Let's just say I am a protector of all people. My family has passed down this duty through generations, leaving behind notes for the next generation to learn and prepare for what lies ahead."

Sierra fell silent, unsure of how to respond. Suddenly, the plane began its descent, and they could see the runway approaching.

Sierra exclaimed, "Wow, that was a quick flight!"

Lana glanced at her watch and noticed that it was just after ten o'clock in the morning.

As they disembarked from the plane, they gathered their belongings and made their way towards the parking lot where Lana's car was parked. The anticipation of their journey still lingered in the air, and they couldn't wait to begin their adventure. Lana swiftly opened the trunk of her car, and one by one, they tossed their bags inside. The trunk was spacious enough to accommodate all their luggage, ensuring a comfortable ride ahead.
