Chapter 110

Meeting Mother.

Natasha's POV

The scenery that surrounded me was peaceful, my eyes roamed around the beautiful garden, the waterfall and the beautiful animal. I walked to the water body to check my reflection and I was surprised at what I saw. My skin was glowing and I was in a white flower dress. I heard footsteps and I turned around to see who was approaching.

"Who are you?" It was a woman and I think we share a resemblance.

She was also in a white flower dress but hers were longer than mine. Taking a deep closer at her she looked exactly like me. It was just that she was older and her hair was silver while mine was deep black.

"Do you like what you see?" She ignored my question.

My eyes followed her movement as she went to one of the trees, she stretched her hands and a fruit fell on her hands on its own.

"Here." She stretched her hand for me to take it from her.

I eyed the fruit suspiciously contemplating if it was poisoned or not.

"It's not poisoned." She chuckled and I blinked.

Did she just say mind?

"See …" She took a bite from it and offered it to me. "You see, here there isn't evil. This is the land of good , a safe haven for good people." She nudged me to take the fruit from her.

"You haven't told me your name." I took the fruit from her.

I bit Into it and my eyes widened at how delicious and mushy it was. The woman smiled when she saw my expression. She waved for me to follow her and we walked to a carved wooden bench decorated with flowers.

"Natasha, do you want to stay here?" She asked when I took my seat.

"How did you know my name?" I asked and she shrugged.

I looked around for a while, everything was perfect but I still felt something was missing.

"Are we the only ones here?" I asked her and she sputtered a laugh.

"You never cease to amaze me darling." She tried to fight a smile from forming. "Of course not…they are people on the other side of the garden."

I nodded in realization, she cleared her throat waiting for me to give her a response.

"Do you want to stay here Natasha?" She pressed..

"It's as if you want me to stay." Her question sounded like she was pleading for me to stay.

"I don't want you to suffer any more, I shouldn't have left you alone but your fate is stronger than mine." She lowered her head and said sadly.

"I don't get you." I didn't quite understand.

"I'm your mother Natasha, my name is Elsa." She raised her head to look at me but I was already blinking in shock.

"What!" No wonder she looked familiar.

"I know right…" She held my hand and my eyes went to where she was touching. "That's why I want to make up for lost time…I don't want you to chase after any destiny any longer."

"So please don't go back stay with me." She pleaded earnestly and I was fazed.

Elsa began to tell me everything that happened and how a prophecy came the time I was given birth to that I was to end an evil force, one that couldn't be reckoned with. And it would only be possible with my mate by my side but sadly she said one of us would have to give a painful sacrifice to end the dark force.

She said there is a war that is coming and there will be a lot of bloodshed and I'm the only one that can stop it from happening but I still had the option to live with her.

"What about innocent lives?" I asked her immediately she was done explaining.

"I was once like you too Natasha, optimistic to the core. But look at how that ended for me, I couldn't raise you, I missed my only child everything, I wasn't there to help you. If I was selfish then you won't have suffered from Teresa and her wimp."

"But that was what led me to my mate right?" I wanted her to see the positive side.

"You would have met him even without leaving Silver Claw, you are meant to find each other." She interjected.

"Who is the dark force?"

"His plan has started because he has your blood." She turned to me and I saw her eyes glittered.

"Gabriel!" My hands became sweaty.

"No, Gabriel is just a pawn , he has many pawns. All I can say is you have to be careful no one knows who is but he is powerful."

"Will I win?" I sighed.

She paused and turned to look at me. "I don't know, that's why I don't want you to go back."

"I have a child, a mate, a pack and an evil force to deal with." I stood up from the carved bench.

"Are you sure you want to go back?" Her face wore a pleading look.

I nodded and she bowed her head. I noticed that she was trying to wipe her tears. I knew what she was feeling, a mother will never want to be separated from her own child.

"I'll be rooting for you." She whispered.

I felt a cold breeze blowing on my forehead and the next thing I saw when I opened my eyes was that I was in my room.

I'm home?

I tried to punch myself to see if Elsa was playing with my mind when I felt a heavy weight on my hand. I peered down only to see Ryan's head, he was asleep. I smiled in relief and used my other hands to rub his head.

He stirred in his sleep, he held my hand and I guess it was reflex.

"Ryan." I whispered and he hummed.

"Tasha?" His eyes were still shut.

As if he left a trance, he raised his head suddenly and our eyes met.

"Tasha!"

"Ryan."
