The Moon's Blessing

"I can't believe the Moon Goddess paired me with you! I never wanted a mate, but whatever lets' get this over with, "I, Kyle Greyson, future Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, reject you, Alexiana Marie Cortez as my mate and future Luna of this pack." I started to feel pain in my chest, but I am not going to let him see me in pain. He thinks by rejecting me as his mate and his future Luna is going to make me break down and cry. What a fucking joke! He has another thing coming for him and with a smirk of my own, I accepted his rejection. Withering in pain and succumbing to the darkness of the abyss that I call depression, is not an option. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rejection is common among the werewolf community, but you don't hear too much about it. However, being blessed with a second chance mate is not something you hear everyday - matter of fact, it's quite rare. For seventeen year-old Alexiana Marie Cortez, she gets rejected on her eighteenth birthday by the soon-to-be Alpha, Kyle Greyson. She goes through life of pain of betrayal from her mate, feeling the loss of a family member and whatever life throws at her. A few years later, Alexiana stumbles upon Jaxon Alexander Diaz - a twenty-three year old Alpha from the Blood Moon Pack; realizing that he's her second chance mate. Doubt, happiness and fear plays in her mind, shielding her heart - preparing for the worst to come, until she soon discovers her eighteen years of life was a big lie and not whom she really is. Will Alexiana reject Jaxon? Or will she give Jaxon a chance to be the mate she always wanted? How will Alexiana react to discovering her real identity?
