Chapter 91: Weekly Dinner
Kyde walked in through the back side of the pack house. You could only access that side by fingerprint, that door led directly to the back yard.

“Aunt Kyde!” All the pups yelled running towards her. “Let’s get ‘er!” They hollered and pounced on her.

She quickly shifted into Diamond and when she stood all of the pups were hanging off of her. Everyone laughed as the pups wiggled around. Diamond twirled around causing the pups to squeal in laughter. She loved playing with the pups when they would have their weekly gathering.

“Okay pups,” Damien said, “Let Aunt Kyde up.” He said as he pulled Rebel and Ryder off Kyde by the back of their shirts.

“Awe uncie,” They all whined.

“Aunt Kyde needs to, now clean up since she and Diamond have been rolling around and being drooled on by you pups.” Jen said as Shadow pulled Hylo and Sadie off Diamond. River and Aspyn were loving all over Diamond.

“C’mon you two lovebugs.” Reign said picking them both up.

“We need to meet with Aunt Kyde and the others before we have dinner.” Blasé took River from Reign. “Go play with your brothers.” He told her putting her back on her feet.

Kyde was laughing as she shifted back to her human form. “Give me about fifteen minutes and I’ll meet you in the living room.” She smiled as she handed Miles and Rory to Jyden, their dad. Ryott chuckled at her sons as they climbed all over their dad.

Kyde went up to her room and took a quick shower, putting on a pair of jeans and one of Kota’s t-shirts. She made her way back to her family and friends. They never dressed up for their weekly dinners, it was a time to relax, catch up on their lives and have fun. As she walked outta her room, Kolby was waiting for her.

“What’s up Kbug?” She asked hugging her little sister. She only called her Kbug when they were alone and in front of family.

“Would I be able to speak with everyone before dinner?” she asked.

“Yeah, sure. You never hafta ask. What’s up?”

“I think I’ve come up with the new Royal pack name.” She smiled.

“Oh really?” Kyde smirked, “Ya gonna give me a head’s up?”

“Nope,” Kolby smirked back at her big sister, popping the P with a giggle.

“Well, then I don’t think I can let you talk to them.” She hummed making Kolby gasp. “I’m just kidding, you can talk to them.” She chuckled pulling her sister closer for a hug. “C’mon,” she tugged Kolby with her. They scrambled down the stairs laughing and pushing each other outta the way.

“Hey everyone!” Kyde greeted. “My sweet little sister, Gamma Kolby Shadow BlackPaw, has informed med that she may have come up with a name for the Royal pack.” She smiled with pride at her sister.

Hunter smiled at his mate, “You didn’t tell me you had a name choice.”

“I wanted it to be a surprise for everyone.” She kissed his cheek.

“So, tell us Gamma Kolby, what name have you come up with?” Damien asked, taking a sip of his drink.

Koby was a nervous wreck and Damien calling her Gamma Kolby didn’t help. “Well, uh, at first I thought about the names that King Damien suggested but, and sorry, your Majesty but they just still didn’t feel right.” She lightly shrugged.

“Hey, don’t apologize, I wasn’t so sure about the either.” Damien admitted. “I just started using all three of our names hoping that something would feel right.”

“I jotted down a bunch of potential names, but I kept coming back to one that kept sticking out.” She smiled; there was silence for a few moments.

Kruz and Jyden looked around and grumbled. “Finally,” their impatience got to them. “Well?! What’s the name?!” They blurted out.
Kolby snickered shaking her head, “Ya know, patience is a virtue.” She said narrowing her eyes at both of them.

“You know patience is not for me.” Kruz grumbled.

“Same here.” Jyden agreed.

“Yeah, so tell us the name!” Kruz demanded.

“Fine but you need to shut your piehole so I can tell everyone.” Kolby snapped. Kruz and Jyden slapped their hands over their mouths and motioned for her to continue with their other hand.

“I guess we can add Tweedle Stupid to the Tweedle twins, making them the Tweede triplets.” Ryott chuckled. Jyden just glared at his mate.

“Okay, we are all waiting for the name, so zip it!” Kyde snapped at them. “Kolby, please continue.” She motioned.

“Thanks, sis.” Kolby nodded. “So, the name I’m thinking of, I believe it will tell everyone exactly who we are and what we have been put here to do.” She explained.

“Drum roll please.” Dakota started drumming on the coffee table.

“Justice Moon Royal pack.” She announced. There was silence around the room as each Alpha whispered with their high rank members and Luna.

Kolby anxiously waited on pins and needles. Hunter pulled her down onto his lap rubbing her arm up and down to try and help soothe her nerves. “They love the name.” He whispered in her ear. “I love the name and so will they.” He said kissing her temple.

The Alpha’s and Luna’s were now talking among themselves; they were making Kolby nervous as they took turns looking over at her.

“Kydence you’re so mean doing this to your sister.” Reign lightly scolded.

“She needs to learn how to go through a slightly stressful situation besides it’s either I do it or the Tweedle twins will.” She shrugged.
“Aahh…” Reign snickered. “Jyden and Noah are the same way.”

“So, do we all like and agree on the name, Justice Moon?” Damien asked, looking over at Kolby chuckling as he turned back to the others. “Poor thing she looks like she wants to throw up.” He told them.

“She’ll be okay, Hunter is soothing her.” Kyde said.

“I like the name.” Blasé said. “I don’t think anyone could come up with anything better.”

“So do I.” Storm agreed.

“Of course, we also agree.” Kyde looked at Dakota while he was nodding his head in agreement.

“Okay then.” Damien smiled.

“Wait, try and make her think that you’re not sure and then drop the bomb of yes on her.” Kyde snickered.

“You are so mean.” Damien chuckled. “This is shit we would do.”

“That’s what siblings do.” She continued to snicker.

“So, mean.” He chuckled.

They all took their seats and Damien stood in front of the fireplace. “So, after discussing it between our packs and then among us Alpha and Luna’s.” He started to say. “The name does seem to tell the supernatural realms who we are and what we are meant to be. I do need to ask if anyone else has any ideas for a new name?” he asked, looking around the room.

“I’m still thinking about it.” Kruz said, rubbing his chin.

“You think? Has Keane had to douse you in water to keep you from burning up?” Kolby snorted out a laugh.

“I don’t know if I like the name.” Kasper said. “I mean Moon. Really? I get the Justice part but Moon?”

“Yeah. I mean we are all blessed by the Moon Goddess, so, I went with that.” Kolby explained. She glared at her brothers and narrowed her eyes at them. “Do YOU have a better suggestion?” She asked, as her brothers smirked at her.

“Kolby, thank you for your suggestion.” Damien stated. “I think it’s a good name.” He smiled.

“You can’t listen to the Tweedle triplets...wait...you...” she looked up at Damien, “like it?”

“Yes, we all LOVE the name you came up with.” He praised her.

She walked over to her brothers, “OWIE!" They both yelped as she punched them both in the jaw.
