A tall, bulky man with a fierce look came in, disturbing the concentration of Daffodil.
“Mr. Dixon?” the tall, bulky man asked while looking at Dixon.
“Yes? I am Dixon.”
“Please come with me. We will be giving you a few instructions,” the man said and motioned for Dixon to come out and follow him.
Daffodil suddenly grabbed Dixon’s arm. “Dixon, don’t go,” she said as her heart suddenly beats fast. Her instinct was telling her that he needs to stop Dixon from getting out of the room.
“Hurry up, Mr. Dixon!” the man shouted and looked at Daffodil with squinting eyes.
Dixon followed while Daffodil sat on the bed with her heart beating fast.
Dixon followed the man until they reach a room. “Please come inside, Mr. Dixon.”
Dixon nodded and got inside the room. There were two men waiting inside the room. They were both seated on the three-seater sofa.
The three men looked at each other. Then the man who fetched Dixon nodded. Before Dixon could even move the two men were already beside him. They moved in a flash.
Inside her room, Daffodil suddenly saw a blurry image of Dixon lying on the floor, with his head detached from his neck. Daffodil screamed so loud and wept. She tried to concentrate asking her mind to bring her wherever Dixon was brought by a tall, brusque man but her concentration failed her. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Dixon, Dixon… No!” she screamed once more, for she knew in her heart that her good friend has been killed at that moment.
Inside the room where Dixon was brought, the three men were wiping their fangs and faces to remove the blood therein.
“Throw the body in the pit at the back,” the man who got Dixon commanded, which the two men hurriedly followed.
Dixon’s body was then put inside a big black garbage bag and was carried by the two men at the back of the house. A few moments and the big black garbage bag with Dixon’s body has been thrown down the pit. After fully covering the pit with soil the two men left as if nothing happened. They returned to the room and cleaned the mess they created therein.
“Boss, what are we going to do with the woman?” one of the men asked the tall, brusque man.
“Do not touch her. Drew has no instructions yet. We will wait for Drew’s words.”
“Can we at least enjoy with her in the meantime?” asked the other man.
The tall, brusque man’s eyes squinted and growled at the two men. “I said, no one will touch her!” he shouted angrily.
And by that, the two men hurriedly went out of the room to avoid the man's wrath.
Inside the room, Daffodil tried to calm herself and started to concentrate again. By this time, she got the focus she needed and in a flash, she disappeared inside the room. She was able to teleport.
II
At the packhouse of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack, the battle ended when the rogues retreated after seeing that most of their comrades were lying dead on the floor already.
In a snap, Daffodil found herself transported to her room at the packhouse of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack. She calmed herself as she mind-linked Lexus.
“Daff, I was searching for you a while ago and was trying to reach you but I could not get through your mind link portal. What happened to you?” Lexus automatically mind-linked back when he received the message from Daffodil.
“Just come here to my room, Lex. I will explain everything,” Daffodil mind linked back as she tried to control her emotion.
“Alright, Sweety, I will be there in a minute.” Thereafter, Lexus ran toward the room of Daffodil.
She rushed to him the moment he entered her room and cried.
“Daff, what happened?” Lexus gave her cheeks a rain of kisses and caressed her back. “Shhh, please tell me, Sweety. Where did you go?”
“Lex, Dixon… Dixon was murdered,” she then said in between her sobs.
“What? Dixon was just inside his according to your parents.”
“No, no, Lex, Dixon has been murdered by those men under the command of Drew. Drew threatened Dixon.” After that, Daffodil told Lexus what just had happened. Lexus was gritting his teeth in anger after Daffodil finished relaying what transpired just moments ago.
“Drew should be truly punished for this. He cannot get away this time. Stay here Daff, I need to speak with my father. Do not get out. Drew should not know that you are here and alive.”
Daffodil nodded and followed with her eyes, Lexus’ back as he walked out of the door.
Inside the office of Alpha Daedos, Lexus intimated to him what Daffodil had just told him. “Alpha Father, what are we going to do now with Drew? He seemed to have no remorse at all.”
“Drew should be immediately put in prison while we search for the body of Dixon. We will decide if he will be executed once Dixon’s body is found.” The voice of Alpha Daedos has been shaking.
“Yes, Alpha Father. I will ask Daffodil to help us to go to that place where they were brought by Drew’s men.”
“Yes, go now my son. I will personally accompany our guards to catch Drew.” Alpha Daedos said firmly and patted the shoulder of Lexus.
And so Lexus returned to the room of Daffodil, together with five of their best warriors.
“Daff, can you still use your teleporting ability? We need to go to that place to find the body of Dixon,” Lexus asked Daffodil upon entering her room.
“I will try Lex. Please hold my hand and let them hold your hands too. I will try to concentrate,” Daffodil said, which was immediately followed by Lexus and the five warriors.
Daffodil focused and concentrated and ‘though she felt somewhat dizzy, she was able to teleport to the place where Dixon and she have been brought by Drew’s comrade.
They landed at the back of the house where Dixon has been buried. “Lex, Dixon’s body has been buried there,” Daffodil said with tears in her eyes as she pointed to the area where Dixon’s body was buried.
“Hurry guys, dig,” Lexus immediately ordered.
They were in the middle of digging when they were attacked by Drew’s three men. However, Lexus alone was able to kill the three men of Drew.
Dixon’s body was found including his head after a few minutes of digging. Since Daffodil could not be able to do teleporting still as she was getting dizzy already, they took the cars of Drew’s men and drove fast going back to the packhouse.
At the pack house, Drew has been imprisoned already.
