Savoring that breezy, cool air as it made some of her hair strands gently sway and slapped into her face from time to time, Daffodil’s smile grew wide. She is now in Rarotonga, Cooks Island; the island that she will never forget because it was where she left her heart. "Ahh, Lexus, I am filled with excitement right on the thought that I will be seeing you again, maybe in just a couple of minutes from now," she murmured smilingly.
She walked towards the reception area of the former beach resort that she once stayed in during her first time in the Cook Islands. She could still feel the familiarity of the place. She tried to sniff that one remarkable scent that she once sniffed in this place but her nostrils could not find it. A little bit of dismay enveloped Daffodil’s heart. “Where are you Lexus?” she then thought.
When Daffodil reached the reception area of the beach resort, the female receptionist’s eyes suddenly grew wide in astonishment. Daffodil recognized the woman, but she hoped she did not recognize her. She is wearing her blue contact lenses; which definitely changed her aura.
But the female receptionist will not forget her pretty face even if she will change the color of her eyes. It was already imprinted in the woman’s mind. “How will I forget you Daffodil Marby? We just talked about you, days ago?” Trixie thought while looking at their new guest. She could not help to be jealous and envy her. Her face is ravishingly beautiful, and so is her body, with curves that a man could die for.
Daffodil was about to turn her back after getting the key to her booked studio-type room when the female receptionist called her to her surprise.
“Daffodil Marby!”Trixie’s voice was loud that caught the attention of some of the other guests sitting in the reception lounge. She does not care at all. All she wanted was to get the attention of the woman.
Daffodil looked back, furrowing. “Yes?” she asked with raised eyebrows. She wanted to curse realizing that no matter how she will disguise herself, this resort's Receptionist's brain seemed to be so sharp to still remember her.
“Why did you cover up your golden eyes? You are much prettier with such pretty golden eyes of yours.” Trixie said grinning. She tried to be friendly to get the trust of the golden she-wolf.
“Oh, you might be wrong, my eyes are really blue.” Daffodil retorted then turned her back once more. She has no time to explain things to her for matters that even concern her at all. Her eyes are not part of the Receptionist's business nor duties to deal with.
But Trixie was not yet finished as she said again, “You cannot hide the truth Ms. Daffodil Marby.” Her voice was confident and somehow filled with mockery, which Trixie did not notice but Daffodil did, clearly, which stunned her.
Stunned by what she heard, Daffodil stiffened but thereafter continued to walk, without answering Trixie. She will never let the woman bully her, and so she walked away without even glancing back again.
At that very moment, two pairs of eyes were intensely looking at the back of Daffodil while she walked away from the reception area. A meaningful and triumphant smile curved along his lips. He stood up, went to the parking area, and drove his car with urgency, away from the resort.

Trixie became restless. She could not wait any longer; she needs to run to their packhouse and tell Drew of this good news and most probably their Alpha if Drew is not around.
“Dylan please take care of the reception for a while, there is just this urgent matter that I need to attend to.” She said to her companion at the reception desk and without waiting for his colleague's answer, she immediately ran and got her electronic motorbike. She hastily drove her motorbike back to their pack house.
Upon reaching their pack house, Trixie quickly alighted from her electronic motorbike and made hurried strides, as she tried to look for Drew. It was however Alpha Daedos whom she met while wandering around their packhouse.
“Trixie, what’s up? You seemed to be in a hurry” Alpha Daedos asked her while shooting her with such a penetrating and questioning look.
Surprised, Trixie stopped walking and bowed to their Alpha. “Alpha Daedos, good afternoon. I am actually looking for Drew,” she said courteously.
“Ow Drew is out. You can tell me what it is if it concerns the pack,” with a soft tone, Alpha Daedos said, trying to encourage Trixie to tell him whatever she is dying to tell his son, Drew.
“Alpha Daedos, the missing golden she-wolf is around. She is staying in our beach resort. Her name is Daffodil Marby.” Trixie said without thinking anymore when she decided to tell the Alpha about Daffodil.
Nearby, Lexus suddenly was rooted to his feet when he heard what Trixie had said to the Alpha. “Daffodil, goodness, why are you back?” he murmured, and then immediately, before their Alpha could notice him, he sprinted fast, got his old Harvey Davidson Motorcycle, and drove fast to the beach resort where Trixie is working.
The moment Lexus parked his motorcycle at the resort’s parking area, his senses already caught that familiar scent, the scent of lilac. “Daffodil, gaddamit, who told you to return here!” Lexus cursed as he ran following the direction where the scent came from.
While Lexus was coming close to the studio room booked by Daffodil, the latter suddenly felt that relaxing scent of peppermint menthol. “Lexus! Oh God, Lexus found me!” she exclaimed as she ran out of her room. As she opened the main door of her garden studio unit and got out, her mind whirled, and her heart somersaulted.
“Lexus,” she murmured while glaring at the man standing gorgeously nearby.
