CHAPTER 41

I am waiting, dressed in a black tuxedo as I stand near the altar, and Steven leads his son down the aisle.

He stands infront of me, and holds my hand, as the priest proceeds to speak.

"Do you, Damian Godfrey, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do." I say, keeping my eyes fixed on Lucas.

"And do you, Lucas Carter, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"

"I do." He speaks, as he flashes me one of his most beautiful smiles.

"I believe the grooms have chosen to write their own vows." Yeah. My turn.

I take the diamond studded ring in my hand, as I put it in Lucas's finger as I say, "Lucas, I vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health. I promise to love you unconditionally to honour and respect you. To comfort you in times of need and keep you safe. One of my friends once told me, that I'd madly fall in love without realizing it, and that's what happened. Day by day, bit by bit, year by year, with you. And, I'll always love you, till death do us part." I hear sobs from the huge audience because almost everyone is in tears.

Lucas takes the dome shaped ring, and puts it in my ring finger, as he speaks, "Damian, spending my entire life with someone felt impossible, and then I met you. I fell in love with your beauty, your grace, and everything that you are. Now, the only thing I can't imagine is, living without you. I'll honour and respect you, and bring you solace in times of need. I'll always cherish you, till death do us part." I feel tears prick the back of my eyes.

"With the power vested in me, I pronounce you both married. You may kiss the groom."

I grab his collar, as I pull him closer to me and our lips crash onto eachother. The feeling is euphoric, as I feel thousands of fireworks explode and our tongues intertwine with eachother. He grabs my face and deepens the kiss and finally, after some time, we break away.

"For you" by Liam Payne and Rita Ora, blares through the speakers, as Lucas and I, stalk eachother in circular paths, and hold up our hands and join them together. Our wedding rings clank.

"Such a sexy sound." I smirk at him.

"It is!" He giggles at me.

AFTER REACHING HOME :

I pour champagne in a glass, and Lucas lies on the soft bed.

"Strip off the clothes, Lucas." I speak, as he obeys and strips off his clothes and lets them fall to the floor.

I climb on the bed, and when I'm on top of him, I gently pour the champagne on his bare chest and he stifles a giggle. I lean down, as my tongue licks the champagne off his chest. Ah, a flavour that I cherish.

He pulls me up, as he jabs his tongue into mine. Rough and aggressive as always. I cup his face in my hands as I deepen my kiss, and flip him down on the bed as I pin him there. He writhes under my touch and let's out a moan.

I pull down his boxers, as I unbuckle my belt, and pull my pants down once I've opened the zipper. I align myself with his entrance, as I push myself inside him and he groans.

"Go faster!" He screams, as I quicken my pace and his hand reach to my back and his nails dig into my flesh and draws out blood which trickles down my back, leaving red blotches on the shirt. I don't care.

I quicken my pace further, as he finally rips off the shirt with his nails and it falls off my back. Damn, those vampire skills though.

After some time, I pull myself out of him ss I lie beside him, covered in blood red satin sheets. The morning sun has it's rays warming up my room, as I get up and sit beside Lucas's slesping form. I caress his hair, as I hear him groan.

"Good morning, husband." He mumbles.

"Good morning, husband." I reply, smiling as I peck him on his lips.

AFTER SOME YEARS :

I'm staring out of the glass walls of my office, at the horizon of the huge city of Texas. Busy roads, buzzing traffic, people going around for work. The place is lively and I hear someone open my door. I whip around, to face Lucas.

"The CEO asked me to come, but I think I'm twenty minutes late. He'll fire me." He grins at me.

"The CEO won't do anything. He has loved you for a thousand years and he'll love you for a thousand more."
