The old beggar traveled through the void as he rushed towards towards his shelter . His name is Clive but due to his way of dressing , he was known as the beggar . He is one of the top experts in the world with his cultivation near the demigod realm . If not for the defects of the heavenly way , he would have long ascended to the demigod realm because he had extraordinary talent .
He is a lone cultivator that did not belong to any force . He was notorious for stealing from various overlord forces and many sects . The overlord force could not do anything to him as he had this unique skill of concelment that was very hard to notice . It was only when he intruded into the Eternal Dark sect that he suffered quite miserably on the hands of the Dark queen .
His concelment was quite useless in the front of the Dark queen because she was too strong and she also comprehended Darkness laws . Unexpectedly , even the Dark queen with her peerless strength could not keep him as he fought a few rounds with the Dark queen before retreating safely .
"This pill is very miraculous , at this rate I will be healed with two hours ". He exclaimed with suprise because the injuries he suffered were not light at all . He still shivered when he remembered that terrifying attack . Even the Dark queen will be instantly defeated while facing the attack .He wondered about the origin of that mighty figure .
He racked his brain but he could not come up with any clue because he was practically familiar with all the top experts of the martial world and he wondered where the expert came from . He rushed towards his base that was located on a mountain . He only had one disciple that he adopted when he was young . The void opened as the Old beggar staggered out .
His steps were still unsteady because he had not fully recovered from his injuries . "Old man , you are injured !". a suprised voice sounded behind him . The face of the old man changed as he turned and glared at the boy that was talking . "If I place you in my position few moments ago , you will be blasted to bits " . The face of the young boy became disdainful as he said "You must have gone to steal again and was beaten up ".
The old beggar became angry as he gave the young boy a heavy knock on the head . "Is that how you see your master , a petty thief. I am a man that is full of uprightness and righteousness". The old man proceeded to give the boy another knock on the head with a look of heavy disappointment on his face . "ouchhhh!!!". The boy screamed while holding his head . "if you can emulate one tenth of my behavior and peerless talent . you would have not been useless ".
The boy sneered " I don't want to be pursued by all the sects for stealing their valuables ". The old man coughed awkwardly as he said " I was just borrowing their things ". They started bickering for a while before the young boy asked with worry . "is your injuries very serious ". The old man sighed and said "it is getting better now ".
He sat cross legged on top of a stone as he circulated his cultivation technique . His base on top of the mountain was looking quite diplidated as it only had a house that seem that it will fall any moment . Although his disciple looked young , his cultivation was suprisely at peak of the supreme realm . The old beggar have lived thousands of years and he was Soon coming to the end of his lifespan and he was trying hard to breakthrough to the demigod realm.
He had journeyed to the mystic ruin with the Dark queen and others but he narrowly escaped death from that ruin. Since then , he have never entered that mysterious realm again . The ruin looked like a secret realm that did not belong to this world as it appeared suddenly and nobody knew it's origin . He had lost hope until he saw that unique treasure on the forehead of that young man .
So he decided to try his luck to know whether he will get the opportunity to ascend to the demigod realm with it because he sensed the aura of laws on it. He never knew that he will encounter that terrifying being . While cultivating and trying to heal himself , the old beggar noticed that his cultivation that have been stagnant for thousands of years lossened a little because of that pill.
He became ecstatic as he took a firm decision that he was going to make use of the token because it might be his only chance of ascending to demigod realm. He opened his eyes after a while because most of his injuries were mostly healed . His face became ruddy again as his aura became sharp . He turned and saw his disciple cultivating beside him .
He had adopted the boy when he was still a child and he had practically watched the boy grow up so he took the boy as his son . He sighed because he had to go to that place when he crushes the token . His life and death will be unknown because he did not know whether the young man had good intentions or not . "Brat,I might be going away for sometime ".
The young boy opened his eyes and said "will it be for a long time and where are you going ?". The old beggar shook his head and said "The place that I am going to is filled with uncertainty because I might be facing a great danger or opportunity there ". The expression on the young boy's face changed drastically as he said "Can you not go ".
The old beggar shook his head and said"I have to go because my lifespan is running out and if I don't ascend to the demigod level soon , I will have no choice but to seal myself ". The young boy became sad at the prospect of the beggar leaving because he was the only family the boy had .
"You have to take care of yourself , old man ". the boy cautioned him . The old beggar laughed and said "Don't worry , I will be back very soon ". The old beggar waved his hand and took out two formation flags from his storage ring and said "This formation flags will help you control the formation on the mountain against Intruders ".
He threw the formation flags to the young boy ."You know where I keep my cultivation resources in case I did not come back , make use of it ". The old beggar instructed the boy . The eyes of the boy became red as he knew that the old beggar will be going to a place where he might die .
He hugged the old beggar and said tearfully "You have to come back , we still have so many places we have not robbed ". The old beggar smiled slightly as he rubbed his head and said "Take care of yourself , son". He crushed the token . Boooom!!!!. a spatial passage formed in front of him . He took a deep breath as he stepped into it without hesitation.
