Chapter 195 EPILOGUE
Chapter 195 EPILOGUE
EPILOGUE
It was raining heavily—too heavy to be precise.
Isabelle stood outside her gallery, her eyes darting from her phone to the approaching vehicles along the street, hoping that one of them would eventually be her husband, Alessandro.
Husband?
Husband!
She felt really good when that title came to her head. Like really, really good.
A faint blush crept to her cheeks when she caught a glimpse of an oncoming Rolls-Royce.
Alessandro was here.
She would have run into the rain to meet up with him first, but she had a lot of important files in her hand and she didn't want any wet. And Alessandro would have surely scolded her if she did.
He has been extra protective with her since they got married, and since the birth of their son, Leonardo, who was now a year old.
A carbon copy of Alessandro too. All menace and trouble even though the little boy couldn't speak properly. Alessandro on the other hand was already planning how training sessions with Leonardo would go. He always spoke about how great of a Don—Leonardo would make.
The man was really crazy, but she loved him regardless.
When the car finally stopped, someone who she didn't expect came down instead.
Luciano.
She hadn't seen him in a long while since the wedding. It was like he was up to something but didn't want anyone else to know, and that was fine. Not everyone wants people in their business.
She only assumed that with time he would eventually come along. And now when he really stood in front of her, she didn't know what to say… or how to react.
“Luciano? I wasn't expecting you. What are you doing here?” she managed to mutter. The last time they ever spoke physically was on her birthday, and it ended up in an altercation.
One that neither of them ever had the courage to speak about after that period.
“Ouch!” He raised a hand to his chest, a smirk forming on his face. “I deserved that. Nicholas was on driver's duty today because Alessandro isn't available at the moment, but I decided to take up from Nicholas. I feel like we have some unfinished scores to settle.”
“Where's Alessandro?” She asked in a high pitched tone, totally ignoring the other things he said.
“Had to settle something… personally. Don't worry, he'll be back to you safe and sound tonight.”
“He better.”
“Can we go?”
Isabelle looked at him, trying to study him for any signs that he was forced into doing this but she didn't see any.
“Yes, we can.”
“You know what? Let's talk now,” Luciano said, stopping her from taking any further steps.
She didn't say anything, only gave him a blank look at first but slowly it turned into concern.
“I know you're mad at me. You probably hate me now. I know, and you have every right to do so. I’ve also realized that it might be late that I'm only coming now but I hope it changes something.” He took a deep breath before continuing, “I’m really sorry for acting like a jerk to you, or for all the times I acted like one. Alessandro was mean to you at some point, and you considered me your friend and I discarded that bond we grew to share because of my own selfish reasons and for that I'm really sorry, Isabelle. I'm really sorry. I do hope you find it in you to forgive me.”
Isabelle stood—stunned. She couldn't believe Luciano, the mafia’s enforcer was the one apologizing to her. It meant a lot… meant he cared.
“It's fine. I don't mind either. I'm also sorry for the times I tried to use you,” she told him, a little laugh slipping out. “I was kind of helpless.”
Luciano smiled. “My brother can be insufferable sometimes, so I totally get where you're coming from.”
She smiled back at him, biting her lips nervously.
“So… friends?” He suggested, stretching his hands out to her.
She eyed his stretched out hand, his face and back to his hand. Then slowly, she slipped hers into his.
“Friends.”

She couldn't sleep. There was no way she could. It was ten o’clock in the evening and Alessandro wasn't back home yet. She was nervous, scared and filled with anxiety.
As she paced up and down the sitting room, she realized she would never really get used to this. She would never get used to this lifestyle of being the Don’s wife. Because every single time he went out, her heart raced abnormally while her thoughts would cook up scary thoughts. Like for a start—him getting shot.
She wasn't ready to get used to this.
As soon as she tried settling onto the sofa, she heard the front door unlock and she was off the spot, hurrying towards the door before it even opened.
“Alessandro!” She cried out, sinking into his arms. He was here. He was here, and she was so relieved.
“Firecracker,” he murmured against her hair as she buried her face into his chest.
“You—”
“I'm sorry,” he whispered, not letting her finish.
“I was so worried,” she hugged him tighter.
“I know. I'm sorry. I didn't realize how much time it would take, baby and I'm sorry.” He lifted her into his arms, and she encircled her hands around his neck.
“Forgive me?” He asked, his expression changing to worry. He was terrified of upsetting or getting her angry. There was always this ridiculous thought that if he did, she might run away again. And if she does, he wasn't sure if he'll survive it the second time.
“Only if you make it up to me,” she whispered, a mischievous smile pulling on her face.
“Oh, baby. Trust me, I'll definitely make it up to you.” He carried her up the stairs, heading towards their room but then he stopped just in front of Leonardo’s room. His eyes asking Isabelle the usual question.
She shook her head. “No, he's asleep. Wouldn't be able to hear us.”
“Good. Because if that little monster starts screaming, I'm not getting off you,” He stated, closing the door after him.
Isabelle's little laughter broke out in the silence as she clung to him even tighter.
He dropped her on the bed, gaze now mixed with desire.
“Clothes off,” he demanded as he started to undress himself, settling onto the bed when he was done.
“Climb on top of me, firecracker.”
She hurriedly took off the rest of her clothes, blushing when Alessandro ran his tongue over his lips at the sight of her naked.
There was no need lying. Her body had changed a lot since Leonardo’s birth. She added a little bit, her breasts were bigger and fuller than how they used to be, and she was much more curvier than before. At first, she didn't like it. She thought it made her look older than her age.
To the extent that she would always cover her breasts from him during intimate moments but Alessandro would always take them off with the words— “Let me see you, baby. You're fucking beautiful.” — and every time he said that, she did feel beautiful all over again. At that moment, she always thought, perhaps, he was lying but the way he looked at her like she was something he needed to devour gave her a new found confidence.
And now? She loved her new body so much.
She didn't climb on him. Instead, she settled in between his thighs.
Her hand gripped the base of his already hard cock. “You scared me today. You scare me all the time.” She dragged her hand over his length, then back down. “Sometimes I wonder if this is how it's going to be.”
Alessandro’s gaze was hooded as he stared down at her. “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.”
She lowered her mouth until it was right over his swollen head. “But I should get used to this, shouldn't I? It's you and I against the world, right?” Then she closed her lips around him, taking him as deep as she could.
Alessandro arched his back with a groan.
She slid back up, licking along the underside of his length. “But that doesn't mean I can't get mad at you when you pull scary stunts like this.” He reached down and gathered her hair away from her face so he could watch her work his length in and out of her mouth.
“The next time you're coming home late, you text me. You send me your location. If you ever scare me like this again, I'm getting you chipped with me monitoring your every move… and I won't have sex with you for two weeks or more.”
He nodded quickly. “Never, baby. Never again, I promise.”
She took him deeper in her mouth.
“Isabelle…” Her name came out as half groan and half plea. “Ride me, baby girl.”
She let him pop free from her mouth, crawling on top of him. Her breasts pressed against him, her lips close to his as she lowered onto his length, the whole of him sliding into her smoothly.
He pulled her mouth into his, pushing his tongue into her mouth as she settled even deeper onto his cock.
“Baby…” he groaned against her lips. “You're killing me.” He thrusted his hips to meet hers.
She clenched around him.
“Are you still mad at me?” He asked.
She pushed back, sitting up so her hands were bracing all over him. “Not anymore. I couldn't… Oh my God, I'm so full, Alessandro.”
He gripped her hips, rocking her over him. “You like it, baby girl. You like having me in you?”
She gave a little nod, moving against him.
“Fuck baby, you're so beautiful. You've got an amazing body, drives me crazy every fucking time.” His hand slid over her belly, cupping her. Her breasts were so soft, full and perky for him.
“I love seeing them bounce… I love seeing you bounce over my cock,” he admitted, holding her hips tight. His plucked a nipple. “Prettier every fucking time.”
A shudder rolled through her body on hearing those words.
“Fuck.” He thrusted his hips, squeezing her breasts.
“Alessandro,” she moaned, her pussy squeezing around him.
He increased his pace and so did she.
She didn't even know when and how, but his fingers were underneath her, rubbing her slippery clit—the sensation from his cock and fingers blending together.
She moaned—loudly.
He worked his fingers between her legs faster. Harder.
She was so close.
Her hips rocked in an uneven motion. His cock hit her so deep, his fingers rubbing just right.
“Baby… Come for me baby… please.”
Immediately, her pussy convulsed around his length and Alessandro held her down against him as he exploded inside her.
Every muscle in his body tensed as his cock pulsed, filling her with his release.
When she couldn't take anymore, she collapsed onto him.
Alessandro wrapped his arms around her. “I'm so in love with you, Mrs. Moretti. I love the man I am with you in my life. Nothing else made sense before you.”
She kissed him on his forehead. “I love you, Don Moretti.”
The warmth of happiness settled around them.
“And I'll always love you,” she added.
“But I'll love you more.”
“Always. It's me and you against the world.”
He held her hand in his. “It's me and you against the world, firecracker. Always… and forever.”
