How many kids did I want? Fuck I never thought about kids and here they are sitting on the floor busy with a floor plan and planning room for kids. We don’t even know what’s going to happen with Nico. “Aren’t we jumping the gun here?” I asked them as I went to sit on the floor. “Come on Frank just give us a number.” John teased me because he knows there is a lot of things that still needs to happen before I would even consider children. I’m an only child and yes, I would love to give the business to someone when I die or retire but thinking about it now. “Fuck of John.” “Why so hostile?” Cat asked. “Have you asked John how many children he wants?” I threw it back to John because I wasn’t ready to answer that yet. “One of each.” He said it like he thought about it before. John and I speak about everything and he haven’t mentioned that to me at all. “Okay John I’m going to ask you the same as I asked Enzo, what if your first and second child is a girl?” “Well then I want to try again?” “And if it’s a girl again?” “Oh, I see your problem?” John said. I mean let say all four of you wants one of each and for some or other reason I can only give you girls first of all I’ll be permanently pregnant and second off all the girls will out number the boys not to mention I’ll have to carry 12 children. Sorry guys we need an alternative because I’m not going to carry 12 children.” Cat said, and I totally agree with her. 12 Children is a hell of a lot we will need an extra house just for the children. “What about we put a pin in this and go eat?” I said as I got up. Enzo helped Cat to her feet then she walked to John and gave him a hug and whispered in his ear. But she didn’t leave me hanging, she came to me hugged me and whispered in my ear “I missed you.” I whispered back “I missed you to.” “Good.” She said looking over her shoulder walking in the direction of the kitchen, she turned to me again and said “Don’t think I didn’t notice you didn’t answer the question.” I played dumb “What question?” “Oh, I’ll get it out of you one way or another.” She said winking at me. Enzo pulled out her chair and went to get all of us a drink except off course for Cat she was still on meds, so he put a soda next to her.
Aria came and put some salad and lasagna that was still bubbling on the table it smelled delicious. I think all our cooks had their specialty Aria’s was daintily her lasagna. We dished up for each of us while Enzo dished up for Cat. I started to wonder how it will work when we all live together, I know it’s Nico’s turn to take care of her this week but his not here does it then fall on Enzo. I took a bite of the lasagna while the others chatted about not really anything. How nice the food was, how Cat and John’s trip was to New York. I was trying to figure out in my head how this house thing is going to work and the rules, we will need rules. I think they where all still talking when I interrupted “How is this big house thing going to work Enzo?” Everyone looked at me shocked because they where totally on another subject. “Well Frank I haven’t thought that far ahead yet, I mean we still have the Gala to get through, Cat’s week with Nico. We need to find a plot or maybe use mine, it’s big enough if I can get the people next door to sell to me, because we need a place for all the men as well as the house managers.” “Yes, yes, I get it but let’s take tonight for example, Nico is not here and you have taken over as the carer for Cat, getting her food, helping her of the floor. How are things going to work do we all get to kiss Cat in the morning? Do we take it day for day? How?”
“Frank you overthinking things.” John said. “No, I’m not what if I wanted to pull out her chair for example?” “Then you pull out her chair.” Enzo said. “We need rules Enzo and you know it.” “I do I know, Cat asked me exactly the same questions we will work it out Frank before the house is build, we will figure it out okay. Let’s just get through the Gala and hope all the best for Cat with Nico.” “Okay but you better think about it.” “I’m already thinking about its Frank don’t worry.” It got quiet around the table as we ate. I don’t know what everyone was thinking but actually I only worried about what one person was thinking about and that was Cat. “Cat what do you think?” I asked her as she took a bite. She swallowed before she said. “I was thinking I get you wanting rules I totally get it and I agree with you 100 % but if I get up in the morning and I want to kiss all of you then I want to do it and not be stopped by some stupid rule. I mean you guys have been in this lifestyle for long, I’m sure you not jealous of each other anymore.” “Well jealousy is a normal thing look how it affected Nico.” John said. “Yes, I know but let’s say we keep this whole thing on the weekly basis as we did so far. I don’t want you to be jealous when I kiss Enzo when it’s your week.” “I get it and I agree with you, I wouldn’t want Frank to get jealous if it’s his week and I want to kiss you. Like for example.” She got up and walked to me made me push my chair out and started to kiss me but she wasn’t just kissing me she was devouring me and I couldn’t help it I kissed her right back not knowing what the rules are……
