Is he fucking crazy, me letting him see Cat, what is wrong with this man? The other thing with Marchetti there was no fear in his eyes none at all it’s like he thinks we are not going to kill him or his ready for it either way I didn’t really know. “So, we all just going to look at each other or was there another plan?” He asked sarcastically. “Or wait you guys didn’t expect I will be here.” Marchetti went on. “Oh no Marchetti we knew you would come especially after all the blows you got today.” I said with a huge grin on my face. “I knew it was you fuckers.” Okay I was getting him riled up again. “Sorry, not sorry.” I said smiling at him. He launched for me but I stepped out of the way making him fell flat on his face. He had no men to help him any more everyone was dead. “You really getting old, old man.” He got up and put his finger in my face. “I will get you for all of this.” Then he pulled a revolver out of his back pocket and pointed it at me. I’ve never seen so many men point a gun at one man. “I will put you down.” Marchetti said still high on something. “Look around you Marchetti you will be dead before you pull the trigger.” His finger was twitching and the next moment I just heard a big bang I think it came from right next to me and Marchetti fell to the ground.
I looked to John who was standing next to me. “What was that?” “He was going to kill you.” I walked over to Marchetti, a bullet right between his eyes. “I think his dead.” Frank said. “Well, du off course his dead John shot him.” Nico said giving John a slap on the back. I wasn’t so happy I wanted to play with him for a little while longer. But we all jumped into action “Tom organize a clean-up and drop Marchetti’s body in front of his, I’ll go and right a note.” I ran into the house grab a piece of paper and wrote “Your father is dead stop this search for the Capone heir, we have her and she will become the Mafia Princess of Chicago. Or else you’ll end up like this.” I ran back outside where most of the men was already off the ground and in SUVs. “Tom stick this in him with a knife, I don’t think the bullet between the eyes are giving the proper message.” “On it boss.” Before we walked back into the house Frank, John, Nico and I helped a few other guys to get a new gate up. I woke up with a big bang; I almost jumped out of the bed. “Relax Cat it’s outside.” “What’s going on?” “I don’t know Mr. Enzo just came in and told me we shouldn’t get scared when we hear gunshots.” “He can’t just say that and expect us to keep quiet or still for that matter.” “Well, I don’t have the authority to question him.” I got out of bed and grab my drip stand. I wanted to see what was going on outside. Alex stopped me when I got to the door. “You won’t be able to see anything Cat; there are steel plates in front of every window and there is a steal door that cut’s us off from the ground floor. Don’t tell Mr. Enzo I told you I wasn’t supposed to go out of the room but when I heard the first blow I had to try and look.” “Don’t worry I won’t tell him. And you sure there is no way of seeing what is going on outside?” “I’m a 100% sure.” “Fuck I hate not knowing what is going on.” My blood pressure monitor was going off. “Cat, you need to relax come on back into bed. Your blood pressure is spiking again.” I got back into bed but I couldn’t sleep the sounds that came from outside sounded terrible and the fact that there where steal shutters at the windows, isn’t it suppose to keep the sound out, imagine how it’s sounding outside. Fuck I laid back down and started to pray that Enzo, Nico, Frank and John will be okay. That they will be save, I had a feeling it was Marchetti and his men that was coming for me that is why we are under such a high security barrier, I wished I was wrong and this was just something else.
I had to have fallen asleep again, these pain meds they were giving me wasn’t a joke not at all I couldn’t keep my eyes open. But I did wake up when Enzo kissed me on the forehead and then I had a flashback of me telling him I loved him. Was that real or was that a dream but for now I really didn’t care I threw my arms around his neck. “You are safe thank God.” Nico stepped forward “We are all safe.” He said. Each of them took a turn to kiss me on the forehead and to hold me. When they were done. I asked them “What was that?” “Could you hear it?” Enzo asked shocked “Yes we could what happened?” “Let’s just say you don’t have to worry about Marchetti anymore.” Enzo said very happy with himself. “Like in never ever have to worry about him?” “Yes, sweetheart John here put a bullet between his eyes so yes you never ever have to worry about him again.” “That is wonderful, not that you had to take a man’s life but that I don’t have to worry about him anymore.” “There was no other option it was his life or yours.” John said like it was nothing. “Thank you, John.” For some reason it felt like I had to thank him. “It was my pleasure.” He answered me, which was weird in some way. “We only came to give you the good news angel you can sleep now.” “Thank you, all of you literally saved my live.” “We said we would.” John said as he walked out.
