Chapter 205
Chapter 205
"How did you guys know? I haven't said anything," Blue murmured, lacing his fingers with Maren's on his stomach.
"Oh, please, our room is right next to yours. We heard everything... well, most of it," Dante said, smiling mischievously at Armani who was shaking his head at him.
"The whole mansion heard. But we understand, staying that long without each other... it must have been explosive –"
"Bianca," Blue gasped, turning around in Maren's arms to hide his face on Maren's chest, groaning in embarrassment.
"You don't have to feel shy. They all do it, too," Maren whispered.
"You're making it worse," Blue glared at him and stepped away from him, going over to sit beside Nixxon on the sofa.
"Well, you all already know, there's no need to deny it. Maren and I are back together –"
"What?" Black suddenly walked out from the hallway, his hair messy from sleep as his eyes fixed on Blue's face.
Maren turned to him, a victorious smirk on his face, "What is what, Black? Are you suddenly deaf?" He questioned.
Black walked over to Maren, staring at him with realisation.
"He's the one you were trying to forget?" He asked Blue, his eyes trying and failing to hide his hurt.
Blue nodded, "Yeah, but we're good now... we–"
"I know what you guys did, alright? You don't have to tell me. You knew how I felt for you yet you brought me on a journey to make up with your ex," Black snapped, his voice rising a bit higher than his usual tone.
"Watch it, Black... I don't like that tone," Maren placed a heavy hand on Black's shoulder, grounding and warning him.
"Great, another jealous lover. Is it ever gonna end?" Dane muttered, sighing.
Blue stood, taking Black's hand and smiling, "You just want to cause trouble, don't you?" He asked.
Black chuckled, "What fun is it if I don't make the merman Prince jealous. How was my act? Believable?" He smirked.
Blue laughed as he stared at Maren's surprised face, "Judging from his and everyone's expressions, I say you got them bad." He chuckled and turned to Bianca, "You're not the only one who knows how to prank," he smirked at her.
"Fuck you, Blue. I was already thinking of how to eliminate Black, I can't stand another drama," She sighed in relief.
"So, you never liked Blue?" Maren asked slowly, suddenly realising he might have been played from the beginning.
Black chuckled, "I'm straight, dude. I was just helping my friend make his annoying friend jealous. It worked didn't it?" He wiggled his brows at Maren.
"Just another day in the mansion," Damon commented, shaking his head.
"You want to make me jealous?" Maren asked Blue, arching his brows.
Blue bit his lip, "Well, yeah... I wanted to see if you still felt the bond the way I did, I wanted to see if you still loved me. Are you unhappy?" He questioned softly.
Maren sighed, shaking his head, "Not unhappy..." he pulled Blue into his arms, "Happy. It meant you never hated me completely, you were missing me just as much as I was missing you." He murmured close to Blue's face.
"I thought we established that last night?" Blue whispered.
"Right, we did," Maren replied and claimed Blue's lips in a soft kiss.
"Finally! Come on, guys, clap your fucking hands!" Bianca commanded, pulling out a PartyBlower from her pocket and blowing hard into it, sounding the noisy horn all over the living room.
Blue chuckled, pulling away from Maren yo pulling the toy away from Bianca, "Noisy." He kaysghed gently.
"I ordered it together with your bracelets. So, will you take them now?" She asked, smiling as she offered the twin bracelets once again to Blue.
Blue nodded, "Sure," he took it off her hand, "Thank you." He murmured, slowly facing Maren to give him one of the bracelets.
"It's not a wedding, stop smiling like a fool," Blue pushed it into Maren's palm but Maren caught his hand together with the bracelet.
"It's not a wedding yet, but we'll definitely have one under the sea," he promised as he took the bracelet from a blushing Blue.
"Damn, now I really want to turn a mermaid, can't miss an underwater wedding for the world. I can already imagine how lit it'll be," Bianca sighed blissfully, hugging Neireda's arm.
"Ahem," Nixxon suddenly cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention to himself.
"Got something on your throat?" Armani asked, smirking.
Nixxon rolled his eyes, "No, got something to say, dummy," he replied.
"You should have remained quiet," Dante murmured to Armani, patting his hair in consolation.
Armani nodded, smiling.
"Well then, speak, Prince. Don't keep us waiting," Armani said.
"We decided on a name –"
"Finally –"
"Can you be quiet for once?" Vernon interrupted Bianca's interruption.
Bianca scowled at her brother, pulling a face at him.
"Please, carry on, Nix. Tell me my princess's name," she smiled.
"There we go again," Dante muttered.
Nixxon chuckled, "Her name is Kaiya." Nixxon announced.
"Sea or ocean in Japanese," Vernon explained.
"Aww, that's so cute, my Princess Kaiya," Bianca sniffled, wiping her tears away.
"Great, I can finally make a T-shirt with her picture and her name for everyone. It's a beautiful name," Dante said, smiling at Nixxon, already pulling out his phone to design the merchandise.
Blue squeezed Maren's hand, feeling the immense love and stability of the family surrounding them. He looked at Nixxon, then at Vernon, the pride and hope radiating off them contagious.
"It's the perfect name, Nix," Blue said, his voice warm with genuine affection. "A name for a beautiful start."
He looked up at Maren, his blue eyes soft. Maren leaned down, brushing his lips over Blue's forehead.
"A beautiful start," Maren agreed, his voice a profound promise. "Our start."
