Forty three
ERICA'S POV
We were both breathless when he pulled away from our kiss first and stared into my eyes. His eyes were steady and didn't give off what he was thinking.
My skin tingled in anticipation of what his next move would be. He was a believer in the unexpected and seemed to derive joy in catching me off guard. He took two steps towards me and I panicked, moving back until my back hit the car.
I looked up and gasped at how close his face was. I took a deep breath trying to calm my racing
heart. He closed the little space between us and I gasped when his erection pressed against me. I bit back a moan when his teeth grazed my neck causing me to shut my eyes.
I shrieked when I felt his hands on my legs and wondered what he was up to. He ignored my protests and swooped me up in one swift movement. My heartbeat picked up speed as my body left the ground. The anticipation of what was to come and the fear of what kind of punishment he had in mind was eating at me, while I clunged to him as he walked into the house, my eyes wide open.
When he didn't stop at the living room, my heart stopped in my chest. Going to the bedroom could mean so many things I didn't even want to think about. I was tempted to ask him what his plan was, but I didn't dare speak.
As he took the stairs one at a time, my heart beat in line with his footsteps. I made a noise in the back of my throat when he walked past my room, my heart was beating really fast by now. He was eerily silent and I was panicking on the inside. His silence was hardly ever a good thing, for me at least.
He opened the door after adjusting me in his arms and I took a deep breath, my heart beating at an unsteady pace. He walked into the room and shut the door with his legs, the sound adding fuel to my racing heart.
When he placed me on the bed, I waited, watching his every move. Would he continue our make out session? Would he drag it out into a punishment? Were we going to have sex?
At the last thought, my grip on the bedsheets tightened as I kept slamming against my rib cage. He took the chair opposite the bed and stared at me. I was fidgeting badly at this point. Was he
going to stare at me all night or was he going to do more? He was still not saying anything and his silence was killing me slowly.
I took a deep breath and looked down at my now sweaty palms. Rubbing them together, I opened my mouth finally finding my voice.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
He was quiet for a few more minutes and I wondered if he wasn't going to reply me. He sat
up and his eyes landed on me again.
"Why did you try to escape tonight, Erica? Why did you try to leave me?"
The unexpected question caught me off guard and I squirmed in my seat unsure of what and how to reply him. A sense of dread filled me, and my brain went into auto drive. The fact that he had asked that question so out of the blue didn't sit well with me.
He laughed, surprising me as I shivered. The sound was normal but the timing had me worried. His next words took me completely off guard.
"You thought you could actually get away from me? You don't have it in you. I give you an 'A' for effort though" He teased and I wondered if he was actually mocking me.
"l won't let you get away so easily and I don't care if I have to chain you to the bed every night just so you dont try to act smart."
I felt my heart stop at that and my pussy clenched at his words. Disgusted at my sudden arousal, shame washed over me. I had known that the moment I leaned over his lifeless body that I had messed up. Running away had been a wrong move. I should never have been so impulsive in the first place.
After everything with Kingsley and then my little moment with Kyle in the empy park, the reality
of what my life had come crashing down on me hard and my brain.
Can I really get away from Kyle? Do I really have the strength for the outcome, if I did succeed? Kyle had been in danger because of my stupid decision and for that I'd never
forgive myself.
"You can't get away from me Eric. Don't ever pull that stunt you pulled tonight" He said in a cool
voice and rose to his feet.
He started pacing and my heart started beating in sync with his movement. He walked to the wardrobe after that, and I sighed shutting my eyes for a brief moment. The moment i heard him approaching again, my eyes flew open and widened when I took in the object he had in his hand.
"What are you going to do with that?" I asked, moving back in his bed, but he was faster.
He pounced on me and I froze as he captured my hands, cuffing them to the bed one at a time.
"Have you lost your mind?" Had he perhaps hit his head too hard back at the cliff?
I trashed, ordering him to get the handcuffs off my wrist.
"Kyle, what is the meaning of this?"
He grinned as he caught my eyes and I glared at him. He looked proud of his actions as if he had done the right thing. Was there really a need to chain me to the bed like this? How was I supposed to sleep?
"This is just a small gift for you, Erica. It will help you think twice just so you don't think of escaping and leaving me again." He sounded angry and I tugged at my hands, wincing when the iron cut into my flesh. He snorted at my actions and shook his head.
"Imagine if my father found out the real reason why we had to be rescued from the bottom of the
cliff tonight? What would he have done to you?"
"But he didn't", I shivered and shook my head, refusing to let him get inside my head.
"Get these cuffs off me, Kyle!!", I yelled.
"This is the only way to ensure you don't wake up tomorrow and think you can run away again. At least, I won't get up and not find you beside me in the morning." He shook his head and sighed walking towards the door.
I gritted my teeth at his nonchalance and was tempted to kick him, but any forceful movement I made would affects me even more.
'Damn you Kyle!' I yelled at him in my mind and he chuckled as if he had heard me.
"Rest well, sleeping beauty".
