Chapter 41.
Benjamin's pov
"Shit" Dante said rushing up to Elina so did Alejandro and Sebastian.
"What is this?" Sofia asked wiping more of the makeup off Elina's face.
"Diego, please take Elina up to their bedroom, it's at the end of the hallway. Clive and Lucas will follow and stand guard!" Dante said sternly looking at Diego who nodded.
"Emiliano and Mateo will come with and stand guard!" Alejandro said.
When Diego and Ian tried to leave Sofia put her foot down. "No, you guys explain right NOW why my baby girl's entire face is bruised!" Sofia said angry.
"Didn't you just tell her you would give her time mom?" Dante asked looking at Sofia with a disappointed look.
I looked at Elina in Diego's arms and she looked close to have a panic attack.
Diego pulling her close to his chest and Ian holding her hand. "I need to know what my babies have gone through!" Sofia said angry.
"Now is not the time mom, do you see what you are doing to Elina?" Dante asked and Sofia looked at Elina and Sofias face expression soften.
"Please Diego, take them to bed!" Alejandro said and Diego walked out of the room and Ian followed as well as the four guards.
"Dante what have they gone through?" Sofia asked wiping her tears.
"Mom, I know you want to know but we have made a promise to not share anything, they will tell everyone when they are comfortable! Give them time and don't force them into talking about it!" Dante explained.
"We will say since it have come to light, that they have a lot of bruises they have both been hidden with makeup. More then that we won't say!" Alejandro said and he, Santiago, Dante, Sam, Seb, Dav and Bella left the room.
"Darling l know it hurts and I know you want to be there to comfort our children, but they have gone through something and we need to let them recover!" Carlos said to Sofia and gave her a hug.
"I know honey, just, they are my babies. We have lost so many years of their life's and we don't know what they have gone through!" Sofia said hugging her husband.
"I'm sure with time Sofia they will open up!" Valentina said with a small smile and a look of understanding.
"Come let's go to the game room!" Caleb said and we all nodded.
Me, Caleb, Alex, Max, Jason and Even walked out of the living room and went to the game room.
"Wow I would never believe they both are so damn good at singing." Even broke the silence.
"Those two last songs broke me though! You can hear they have been going through a lot" Max said and we nodded.
"How are you two holding up?" I asked looking at Caleb and Alex with a concerned look.
"Honestly I don't know man. First seeing she start to have a panic attack during the movie when someone gets stabbed in it, kinda makes me think something like that have happened to them as well." Caleb said staring up at the ceiling.
"Hearing her play the piano though that brought back memories, Dante always used to play that first song when we were kids, but he stopped playing after they disappeared." Alex said with a sad voice.
"But hearing her voice, damn it is beautiful!" Caleb said with a smile on his face.
"But those last two songs, the songs they have written, that was hard to listen to!" Max said sadly.
"I can't believe they wish to die! Something bad must have happened!" Caleb said with tears in his eyes.
"And that is why it's killing me, I need to know what they have gone through!" Alex said really dejected.
"But Alex, you can't pressure them into tell you! You have not given them a reason to trust you!" I said looking at him seriously.
"I will do my best!" He said and we all let out a heavy sigh because we all know him, he won't let it go.
We kept talking and chilling, playing some video games before we headed to bed.
I got ready for bed, took a shower and got dressed in a boxer, I don't really like sleeping in anything.
So the next morning after I had gotten ready for the day I was dressed in some light gray slim ripped jeans and a forest green cotton button shirt with some white sneakers.
I headed downstairs and saw Elina already there sitting in Alejandro's lap.
She had on some dark blue short denim shorts, a beautiful white tube top with some knitting on the side with some black sneakers, her hair up in a high ponytail and some light neutral makeup.
God she look so pretty, she smiling and talking with Diego, Ian, Sebastian, David, Bella, Alejandro and Dante.
We all sat down and started to eat our breakfast, conversation were made around the table.
"Elina" Alex suddenly said and everyone stopped their conversation looking at Alex.
"Yes?" She asked looking at him with a confused expression, guess that is because he never really talk to her directly.
"I'm sorry but I need to know what you guys have been through! Please tell me!" He said.
"Alex, let it be!" Carlos said to his son. "I can't! I need to know!" He said not taking his eyes off Elina.
"Why is this so important to you Alex?" Alejandro asked raising an eyebrow at him!
"They are my baby siblings! They come back here, all scared and weary of us. Yet they are super comfortable around the most dangerous gang in the world! Yesterday they sang a song they are not okay and wish to die! I need to know what have happened to them!" He said, the more he said the more angrier he got.
"If I don't know any better they are just trying to get attention. Elina is just an attention seeking girl thinking this act of her is cute!" He added.
And not only was I filled with anger from what he just said I saw everyone else around the table was as well.
"Alex! You are crossing the line!" Dante said very angry. "We have said to let it be till they are comfortable!" He added.
"I can't, things they do and say is so contradictory and confusing!" Alex said.
"Says you? One second you are 'our family is no place for a girl' then you care what have happened to her, then you say they are just attention seeking" Richardo said angry.
I look over at Elina and Ian and they were both enraged and I felt the anger starting to radiating off them both.
Like it did at school yesterday, and man, that shit scared the shit out of me!
