Chapter 97 Shattered!

Chapter 97 Shattered!
|| Author POV ||
AT MORNING

Rosalie woke with a gasp. Sunlight flashed into her lavender orbs. Pain flared through every inch of her aching body. The memories of last night crashed down–how ‘mercilessly’ he had broken her.

Tears prickled her eyes. She dared to peek at herself under the surface. Her eyes watered seeing her skin was marred with deep, vivid marks, dark purple and angry red, proof of the storm that had raged over her fragile form.

Rosa clutched it tight to her body. She stared blankly at the ceiling over her head, under the roof of his mansion.

Under his responsibility.

She recalled his words from before. That vow. That twisted vow–

She gave herself to him!

His words played in her mind like a curse. Her own confession echoed into her earbuds. It was her mistake controlled by him. He had manipulated her own promises, weaponizing them so he could do whatever he wanted. There was no turning back now.

She agreed to him! He could do whatever he wanted! But despite agreeing to his words with her own will. Why does she regret it now?

She can’t blame him for this. Or maybe she can! She was a fool. She sold her soul to him with those cursed words. She sold everything to him for her pathetic emotions.

But again her mind screamed, he shouldn’t have done that. Her professor couldn’t do this.

She at least hoped, he wouldn’t hurt her physically but he did. So cruelly.

He even threatened to kill her if she spouts nonsense. He forced himself on her. How could he?

An inaudible hiccup escaped from her throat.

‘I will never forgive you.’ Rosa whispered to her broken heart.

What had she done wrong? Was it loving him? Trusting him? For letting her heart beat only for him?

Or daring to dream he could love her back?

Maybe it was their twisted past. Or perhaps it was God’s fault for writing a fate where their paths would cross.

Rosa lay there like a lifeless doll with no movement, trying to process if everything that happened was a reality or a nightmare?

Her eyes were on the ceiling and still silent tears rolled down temples. Lots of thoughts crossed her naive mind. Her chest tightened each passing second. Life no longer felt like life anymore.

He really was her professor? The man she once begged for love was now the one she begged to escape.

Rosa was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t even notice the monster entering his room. Killian’s cold blank eyes locked onto her still form. She was blankly staring up, clutching the duvet and silently weeping. Killian walked toward the bed calmly.

His broad buff chest wrapped in the blank t-shirt as usual. Rosa flinched slightly but didn’t move when she felt the sudden tug. In the next moment, Killian swept her up in his arms. The soft duvet tangled around her fragile body like a tiny doll.

Rosa forgot to blink her eyes, she stared at nothing. Too broken to react or move.

Her blank eyes glazed over. They were empty and distant when Killian entered the washroom. It had a cold, dark interior. Killian gently unwrapped the duvet around her and tossed it aside.

He eased her onto her feet, still holding her. He didn’t miss the sight of her ignoring his eyes.

Rosa trembled, fear etched deep in her eyes as she leaned against his steady support. Her legs were shaking weakly. Her whole body was aching. Her gaze flickered at the cold space.

His touches stiffened her.

A sharp ache pulsed through her abdomen, tightening her fragile frame. Killian’s palm softly pressed against her abdomen.
“Hold on.” Killian murmured in his deep low voice and gently turned her around, facing her back to him.

Rosa’s limbs trembled uncontrollably. Her wide blank eyes fixated on the cold wall. His presence suffocated her. She didn’t dare to speak.

His large hands found her waist from back, pulling her close against his clothed chest. His movements were gentle. Rosa shuddered, swallowed by the heat of him.

“Rabbit, don’t be scared. Relax. I’m going to ease your pain.” he whispered in a deceptively gentle voice.

Rosa’s palm pressed against the wall and that’s when she noticed the fresh bandage wrapped around her palm. Last night, he’d grabbed her hand so hard, the cut has opened under the gauze. But now there was no blood in it. Had he changed it?

Had he cared enough to tend to her wounds? or was it just another way to keep her bound?

“Don’t be afraid.” Killian’s breath fanned hot against her ear. “I was rough. Too rough. But this time, I’ll be careful and gentle.”

Rosa’s lips trembled. Her breath hitching. Her body shaking in resistance.

“I’ll be gentle this time. I promise. I won’t hurt you. I won’t hurt my rabbit.” His words stirred a soft sob from her trembling lips.

“Pl-please.” Rosa stammered and shook her head.

“I’ll make it better. Just trust me.” Killian soothed, his hand tracing slow and soothing circles over her tender belly.

Her body quivered. Trust? Him?

Her fingers curled into a little fist, standing like a doll with the support of wall.

She didn’t trust him. Not even a bit. She couldn’t stop the tears that slipped down her cheeks as she trembled in his grasp. She felt so scared to make a response.

“Relax.”

Was he going to do it again? She was already so sore. It scared her.

“P-please.” she mumbled somehow, her tone full of fear.

As if she utters a single word, he’ll burn her alive.

“I’ll make you feel good, bunny.”

Rosa blinked at the wall. As if the wall could save her. She couldn’t form any other words. Would listen to her pleadings. Him? and mercy?

Killian caressed her belly softly and kissed her shoulder making her flinch. His lips were gentle against her skin. Rosa’s eyes teared hearing the soft click of zipper.

A soft tiny hiccup finally escaped her lips. Still she couldn’t bring herself to say anything or resist. But how is she supposed to take it again.

“I’m sorry.” Killian pecked her earlobe “I’ll remove all your pain, rabbit.” he husked against her skin.

His apology meant nothing. Rosa stood there like a puppet. She didn’t move, didn’t breathe until she felt the warm press of his tip against her entrance. Rosa’s fingers curled into fists against the dark cold wall and her lips quivered. She just knew he wouldn’t listen to her pleads.

A fragile sound “Mmh–” escaped when he eased forward, too slowly as if trying to spare her pain. His thumb rubbed her flat stomach.

Killian knew how rough he was on her. He wasn’t unaware of her soreness. Now that his anger calmed down. He wanted to pleasure her. And he knew she wouldn’t try anything stupid for a good time.

Rosa’s brows pinched together, knees wobbling, biting down on her lip while his length slid inside slowly. Her lashes fluttered shut, every muscle in her body taut and her walls clenched him. A suppressed moan escaped from her throat.

Killian waited, letting her adjust, then moved with gentleness. And her body betrayed her. Heat pooled low in her belly, drawing her into the very touch she despised now. At least it wasn’t painful.

Rosalie closed her eyes feeling his cock as he fucked her gently. He was pleasing her. Pampering her shoulders and neck with kisses. She hated herself for it, hated that she could feel pleasure from a monster.

Her heart didn’t melt. She was beyond hurt.

And she knew, even if she begged him, he wouldn’t stop. So she silently endured it. Thanks to god, he wasn’t pushing him too far or else she would’ve collapsed again.

Her eyes remained blank, tears trailing silently down her cheeks as if her soul had already slipped away.
