SARAH
He slid all the way in with one thrust, biting the side of my neck like a vampire draining its victim of blood. He thrust inside me in long, deep strokes. With each shove, I felt the sofa moving an inch, squeaking its protest beneath us. Cullen hoisted one of my legs over his shoulder, wrapping the other against his waist while his eyes bore into mine.
“Slow down,” I half-protested when I couldn’t understand whether it was me shaking or the sofa quaking beneath me.
Cullen was relentless. He was so hard and thick, I wondered if my insides would forever be molded to the shape of his erection. He widened and stretched me, and I’d never felt so deliciously full in my life. He kissed the side of my face, the silhouette of his features in my peripheral vision. He was so beautiful it squeezed my heart, making me want to cry. Overwhelming pleasure coursed between us, and I felt him swelling and jerking inside me as I fought my next climax.
A moan tore from my mouth at the same time he spilled inside me. My knees knocked together before I came too. He pulled out and then cupped my pussy with his hand, shoving three fingers into me. He pushed his fingers deeper between my lips, covering my entrance completely so his cum couldn’t drip out. I think I came again after that, too.
After that intense lovemaking or fucking, whatever you want to call it, he scooped me up into his arms as if I weighed nothing and carried me upstairs. He didn’t say a word, and I didn’t need him to. He drew a bath, the steam curling into the air like a quiet invitation. We sank into it together, our bodies pressed close, his hands tangled with mine under the warm water.
We didn’t speak, we didn’t have to. Our hearts were talking, our bodies were talking, every breath between us an unspoken promise. The night that followed was a blur of passion and tenderness, as if time had bent just for us. The world outside ceased to exist.
When I woke, sunlight was streaming through the curtains, soft and golden, and the first thing I smelled was bacon and eggs. My lips curved before my eyes even opened. And yes, of course, it was Cullen, standing at the foot of the bed with a tray in his hands, breakfast in bed, looking unbearably pleased with himself. I blinked a few times, taking in the sight of him standing there with the tray. My chest did this weird thing inside from the night before, from the heat and closeness, from everything we had shared. I wasn’t sure if I had ever felt this safe, this wanted, this… alive.
“You made breakfast,” I said, my voice husky, still thick with sleep and last night’s memory.
He smiled, leaning slightly on the bedpost. “Of course. You went through hell yesterday. You deserve more than a few kisses and a bath. You deserve everything, but first.... I need you to put some food in you.”
I laughed softly, pulling the sheet closer around me. “Breakfast in bed is very persuasive, Cullen. You’re trying to keep me from getting up so you can… what, steal me again?”
He shook his head, a little grin tugging at the corner of his lips. “I’m just making sure you survive the morning without falling apart. That’s all,” he gave me a dirty smirk that shouldn't have affected me as much as it did.
I felt warmth swell inside me, not just from the memory of our night, but from how he was here now, calm and steady, like an anchor. My fingers brushed the edge of the tray, then hesitated.
“Cullen… about yesterday…”
" Let's not talk about that right now. I know you're worried, but I have it under control."
I smiled, then picked up the fork and stabbed a piece of bacon, laughing softly as I chewed. “You know, if this is how mornings are with you, I could get used to it.”
Cullen chuckled, watching me with those steady, warm eyes. “Good. Because I plan on making a lot more mornings like this.”
“Stop! I might just never want to live your side...Where’s your food?”
“I forgot it. I’m going to get it downstairs,” he said.
And then he left. He left the door open.
Maybe I was just that sleepy, but I think I heard the sound of the door ring. I didn’t think much of it and continued eating. But then....
A familiar voice.
A sound I would know anywhere.
My father’s voice.
My dad is here?
That was my first thought. Fear. Scared.
After what the Cincinnati's said yesterday about letting my dad do whatever he wanted....and now he was here?
Oh my God. Cullen?
I quickly stood up from the bed, only to realize I was naked. My heart was hammering so loud it drowned everything else. I rushed to the wardrobe, yanked out Cullen’s T-shirt, and pulled it over my head.
On my way out, thank God, I saw my underpants on the floor. My legs felt like lead, but I started running down the stairs, calling his name.
“Cullen! Cullen! Dad, stop!”
I was calling their names over and over. It was a chain of reaches, so nothing bad would happen before I got there, because I would not survive this.
This wasn’t even an if. If Dad does something to Cullen.... He and I, we’re done.
I don’t know what I’m going to do.
I don’t know what I’m going to do to myself.
I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself, but I know I won't survive.
I’m so freaking scared. I don’t think I have ever been so scared in my entire life as I was at that moment.
I stumbled on the last step, nearly falling, but I didn’t stop. The house felt colder, bigger, and every echo of my bare feet on the hardwood made my heart pound harder.
“Cullen!” My voice cracked. “Dad... Please!”
No answer. Just muffled voices somewhere below, a low rumble of male tones. I ran faster, Cullen’s T‑shirt clinging to my skin like it was suddenly too small. My breathing turned into frantic sobs.
Please, God, don’t let him hurt him.
