Angelo.

“I will go in there first, the moment you get the call from Marco, you blow their empire off,” I instructed Kelvin.

“Yes, Sir. Let’s spread around guys!” Kelvin clapped his hands to our men. I have implanted some at the warehouse. The weapons that are being kept at the warehouse will be what I will use in bringing Dominic and Enzo down. I had gathered enough evidence already.

I ain’t going to waver this time around. I had hesitated enough. It’s high time I put an end to everything. To prove to my mom that I would be there for her. It doesn’t matter whether she still hates me. I will put an end to everything and relieve the guilt inside her.

As Kelvin retreated to their den where they would await my orders, I made my way inside Dominic’s house. We agreed to meet at his house including Enzo.

His men were also parading around. But that won’t stop me from carrying out what I intended to do. I will go smoothly with them and if they still don’t go by my books, I will go hard.

I met the two clinking glasses and laughing with smoke rising in the room. I don’t think they even have shame at all. “Angelo my boy, you’re finally here,” Dominic said.

“Come sit and have a drink with us.” Enzo chirped it gesturing to bottles of beer cigarettes.

“I am not an alcoholic fool like you and a smoker. I am here to talk peace with you two. That’s if you want to save your little asses.”

Dominic laughter filled the room. “Hey, leave us. Let’s hear what type of preaching the big boy has for us today.” Dominic ordered his men to leave.

“Can you clean this mess up, I have something to show you guys,” I said pointing at the empty bottles and cigarette chunks. Dominic’s eyes lingered on me for some seconds before he called out to his main and had her clear up the table.

I picked up the briefcase I came along with and dropped it on the table. “What is this? A bag of money?” Enzo spared the bag a curious look.

I always knew he was a greedy man. Anything that has to do with money, he can go to any length to get it. The same money he traded his family with. Abandoning his daughter. “Why don’t you open for yourself?” I said.

The two shared a look, and then Enzo stretched out and unzipped the briefcase, revealing a stack of papers. The look on their face shows that wasn’t what they were expecting. “Bet you guys thought it’s filled up with cash right?”

“What are all these while papers?”

“The evidence that will take you to jail,” I answered as fast as I could.

Dominic emitted a light laugh. “I thought it was something serious, Angelo. What evidence do you have that is capable of sending us to jail?” Dominic asked folding his arms across his chest whereas Enzo took a sip of his drink.

“There’s always an end to a villain, Dominic. Secrets won’t stay hidden forever. Just like we all have secrets, a day will come when the secret will be out to the world. I will start with you, Dominic.”

“You had your wife drugged so you could inherit the wealth that was left for her by her father. You killed her alongside her three-month-old baby growing up inside her. You fed yourself using her inheritance.”

His eyes briefly widened. “How..did..”

“It doesn’t matter how I got my hands on the evidence. You will get all your answers soon. As for you Enzo, you think you’re a smart man. You ripped off your lover’s wealth. Taking everything she owned by promising her marriage. You even went as far as to make her loan a big amount that will end her up in jail for a lifetime. You left her with nothing but pregnancy. Luckily, she didn’t abort the baby. She had an eye on her daughter. Who is now an excellent event planner.”

Enzo wasn’t shocked at my revelation instead an amused smile curved up his lips. “I know. I know about my daughter. What was her name, Alessia.”

I gulped down a bitter saliva. “I saw her once at an event I was invited to. Annabelle did a great job in raising her or should I say her foster parents. Does she know?”

“She does. And she hates you for that. I expected a remorseful expression on your face.”

“Remorse you say?” Her chucked. “Why would I feel any remorse? I need no woman neither do I need a son or a daughter. She was a mistake.”

“Mistake?” I repeated clenching my fist. Had it been Alessia was here, it would have broken her into pieces. The man didn’t seem to care about his past actions. More reason why he deserves to get punished.

“Yes. Annabelle was a sweet bedder but I didn’t tell her I wanted a baby. It was her mistake so she had to deal with it.”

“You are a monster, Enzo!” I uttered through gritted teeth. “You don’t have a heart. Because a man who has a heart will feel ashamed for abandoning his family.”

“I didn’t abandon them. They came at the wrong time.” I closed my eyes and opened them again.

“I knew it. I knew people like you didn’t know the value of life. All you think about is money. How to rip people off their money. How to get your pockets filled up with money that doesn’t belong to you. But that will come to an end today. I have all the evidence that will bring you two down.”

“Oh, my poor boy. Are you doing all this because of my daughter? Dominic told me how precious she is to you. A merciless Mafia boss has turned into a lover boy? That’s big.” Enzo mocked. I was seething inside but I held myself back. I will hold it in for a little bit longer.

“You don’t deserve to call yourself her father. You’re the wrong father to her. And she’s happy without you. And will continue to be.”

“I will make her happy,” I added. Enzo shook his head in return.

I spared the two heartless men a look intently. “Dominic, with all your past dealings. Drugging your wife and killing her alongside her unborn baby. You then killed my father and my little sister and other deadly crimes. You know what it means when the evidence gets to the police department.”

“And you Enzo. I have gathered enough evidence from Mrs. Annabelle that involves all the dirty fraud you carried out before you left New York. That enough will put you behind bars. But it didn’t stop there. You have a hand in the killing of my father and little sister, including human trafficking. Both of you have a big amount of dirty dealings in transporting illegal goods. I have them in my warehouse.”

For the first time, I saw a nervous look on Enzo’s face. “All these you listed do you think we won’t be able to escape.”

“Not after I hit this button. You will lose everything you owned Dominic. Including your sanity. I am going to give you twenty minutes to decide whether to turn yourself in or I will help you do that.”

“As for you Enzo, I will give you a grace because of your daughter. It’s either you come clean or you get down too.”

“You can’t do shit, Angelo. I am stronger than you think.”

It was my turn to laugh. “I like your confidence. Even at your worst you still have hope that your little empire will save you? My men are surrounded all around this house. It’s either we fight and lose or fight and win. Your time starts now.”

I gestured to the clock. “I just have to press this button and this house will blow off. We would die all together.” Fear occupied their faces. Funny enough I was just bluffing. The button won’t blow us off instead it would alert the police. I needed to trick them.

“I am not afraid of death. In as much as I will put an end to everything. I’m ready to die. Eighteen minutes more.” The two fished out their phones to make a phone call. I allowed them to. Because I have already planned out.

All the people that are going to contact have already been arrested by the police. I saw fear in Dominic’s eyes as he tried calling a number and it didn’t go through.

Enzo was quick to his feet. “The house is locked. You won’t be able to escape even if you want to.”

The time kept on tickling and the two were still not ready to surrender. “Your empire is on fire already. No matter how hard you try to call your people, you won’t get through them. They’re all arrested.”

“Dominic we need to do something. We have to leave before the police get here.” I sat up from my seat feeling powerful. I like the fear in their eyes.

“Let’s just round things up now. Are you guys ready to turn yourselves in? Kneel before me and turn yourself in. My option is still valid.”

“I will never succumb to you Angelo. Never. I would rather die than kneel to you.” Dominic shouted.

“I will never do that too. Let’s all die. Press that button.”

“Even in the end, you guys still choose greed. Alright, let me press the button.”

I hesitated for a while before mentioning the last number. “1.” As soon as I pressed the button the sound of gunshots filled the air. Within a minute the police busted through the door with their guns. “Congratulations to you two. I will visit you guys in the cell.” With that, I flashed them a smile and took off leaving the police to handle them. Everything is over
