After the whole incident we were driven to the police station in a Hilux. It was in the dpos office that I learnt that five of kens men died during the raid. The other two who surrendered survived but they were immediately locked up.

Luckily no police man's life was lost yet, although one officer was shot in the leg and another in the chest, but the one who was shot in the chest was wearing a bulletproof vest so it didn't cause much damage to him.

They were both taken to the hospital immediately.

The dpo explained that he had planned this all with Scar to know what Kens motive would be if ever he had us, where his hideout was located and if he still had as much manpower as he did before.

I found out that his gang had separated. Due to Kens incessant rambling about me some of his men were forced to leave as he was no longer interested in business.

It didn't go down well with them that their leader seemed to suddenly only be interested in a woman.

The dpo said something like the money given to him as bribe was going to go into buying gifts for the police men who were involved in the operation end the dragons gang and also for medicines for the injured ones.

I didn't care what he used the money to do. Even though I didn't believe him, the money was definitely going to end up in his pocket.

Scar and the dpo seemed to suddenly now be on good terms and by good terms I mean they laughed at each others jokes more like Scar smiled and the dpo laughed since they were mostly his jokes.. All.. His jokes.

I was indeed surprised almost shocked, I thought they would end up killing each other after the raid.

Soon it became my turn to make do with my plans. I had seen an opportunity to get what I always wanted and what I had been craving for all this years. And I would be a fool not to take it.

Revenge and comfort. They would finally be mine.

"Is she here already?" I asked the dpo and Scar as they came back into the office where they had left me earlier with my thoughts.

"Yes she is.. I'll leave you guys alone to talk with her whatever it is should be brief. I have things to do you know since I just brought down a major gang with the help of you guys." He said, proudly.

"Yeah right.. congratu...lations."I drawled genuinely uninterested. I still didn't like him for some reasons unknown to my conscious mind.

The Dpo was amused by my nonchalant behavior. He shook his head smiled and went out to give me space like I had requested earlier. He definitely didn't take me serious because I was a teen and he had those notions about teens that old people have.

When he was leaving Aunt Lisa came In looking angry. It was not as if I was expecting her to be happy. I had just gotten her lover arrested.

"You!" She gasped, shocked to see me. Then she regained herself and raised her shoulders high.

"What is this. Why was I asked to come here?" She asked, angrily walking in.

Scar who was standing close to the door smiled and winked at me. He was confident that my plan would work but I was anxious about it.

He shut the door behind aunt Lisa and followed her in as she walked towards me.

Lisa refused to take a sit not that I offered any thought. It was not my office.

She just stood by the corner of the room watching me.

Scar walked further into the office and stood behind me. It was all he needed to do to make me feel a little more confident than I was already feeling.

I crossed my legs and faced Lisa squarely. I had to appear confident like a true blackmailer. Even though I was more than anxious. Imagine committing a crime in the police station. It takes more than bravery to pull that off.

Lisa clutched her handbag, obviously tormented by something maybe me. Her fear was written all over her face.

The face had a language of it's own and it betrays us sometimes just like Lisa's face was betraying her now

"Apart from the fact that you aided a criminal and sponsored him. What other reasons do you think you are here?" I asked.

I spoke slowly finishing my words to the last letter. Emphasizing them.

"I did not aid ken." She replied too quickly. She was trying to hide her nervousness but She was doing a really bad job at it.

"So the house he used in kidnapping us was built by?" I asked, tilting my head. I put my index finger on my chin like I was trying to remember something. It was all part of the game.

She sat down now as her legs were shaking so much she could no longer stand.

"I only gave him the money I didn't know that that was what he was going to use it for. I had no idea of his criminal activities. My lawyer will defend me."

"Why would you give your brother in-law. Your husband's cousin such huge amount of money was he working for you?" I asked seeminly interested in knowing the answer although I already Knew it. I wanted her to get the message. She did.
