Chapter 113: He Was Hiding

Chapter 113: He Was Hiding
Vega, Celeste, Klare and Kristi were the first to walk through the door. The three moms placed their hands over their mouths. “Oh, my baby,” Klare said, as Ollie pushed the wheelchair, that Klare was now confined to, followed by Kristi being pushed by Celeste. “Our baby’s have their own baby...” she looked at Safyer and Zoltan. “Wait, did you... you... you had two pups?” she asked with a gasp.

“Mom’s, dad’s, meet your granddaughter, Princess Nyx Lutz and your grandson, Prince Kage Lutz.” Zoltan introduced and placed Kage in his mom’s (Kristi) arms and then picked up Nyx and placed her in Klare’s arms.

“Twins,” Klare chuckled. “You had twins.” She whispered.

“Yep, Kage, the little sneak, was hiding somewhere behind his sister.”

“Still in the womb and already causing trouble.” Vega chuckled.

“I just don’t understand how he could hide.” Safyer said.

“Tarby was the same way.” Klare smiled, admiring her grandson. “Yep, he didn’t want to be found until he was ready, which was the day he and Aden were born.”

“I guess Kage is gonna take after his favorite Uncle Tarby.” Tarby said with a huge smile.

“NO WAY!” Safyer yelped, “there’s no way you’ll be alone with our pups, learning all your bad habits.”

“Yeah, it’s bad enough you’ll be teaching our pup your bad habits, you don’t need to go around teaching all the other pups.” Iza snorted.

“Awe babe,” Tarby said, nuzzling his mate’s baby belly, “I won’t teach bad habits until he or she is at least five or six.” He promised. Iza chuckled and shook her head.

“I just hope I will be here to meet my next grandpup.” Klare said, trading pups with Kristi.

“We are doing our best to make that happen.” Doc Jude smiled.

“My little Princess Nyx,” Klare adored her grandpup. She gently ran the tip of her finger down Nyx’s little nose. “You are so beautiful. You and your brother are the future of the Elite Moon. May the God’s and Goddesses bless and guide you as you grow and go out into the world.” She prayed. “I wish I could be here as you grow but that’s not going to happen.” She sighed, as Ollie squeezed her shoulder, then wrapped his arms around both his mate and granddaughter. “Just know that I’ll be watching you, your brother and cousins. I will do my best to protect you all as best I can” she promised.

“Awe, mom.” Safyer softly sobbed.

Ollie wheeled Klare closer to Safyer’s bedside. Klare looked at her daughter, “I’m so proud of the woman you have become.” She smiled. “You’ve overcome so much. I never thought you’d be the one to save me.”

“I’m glad it was me that found you.” Safyer said squeezing her mom’s hand. “I just wish we’d found you sooner, maybe there could’ve been a way to save you and your wolf.”

“Don’t do that to yourself,” Klare told her, “the important thing is that you found me and Kristi. You brought us home. I’m so grateful that I’ve been given this time with you and your brothers. No matter how short the time is. I’ve been given the chance to meet my first granddaughter and grandson.” She said with a smile.

“If you can wait a few more hours, you’ll get to meet your next grandpup.” Iza said, looking down at her feet, “my water just broke.” She said standing in a puddle of fluid.

“OH SHIT!” Tarby said, looking around in a panicked state.

“Doc!” Vega called from the door, “Iza’s water just broke.”

“Ours too,” Kate and Violet said with wide eyes.

“Doc, what do we do?” Tarby, Austin and Rolins looked at him.

“First, we need to get them into rooms and hooked up to a fetal monitor.” Doc calmly said.

“Why are you so calm?” Austin asked.

Rollins pulled his brother by his collar, “hey! You need chill.” He said. “We need to get our women to their room and prepare for our pups.”

“Stop being such a wussy.” Zoltan told his brothers-in-law.

“Look who’s talking,” Tarby snickered.

“Yeah, who’s the one who passed out watching the birthing video?” Austin laughed.

“Hey! I wasn’t expecting that at all!” Zoltan said with a blush. “Oh, and at least I didn’t put the diaper on backwards.” He chuckled.

“Will you jackasses shut up!” Safyer quietly snapped, “your mates are in labor. You have a job to do.” She said shaking her head. “I can’t believe you’re my brother’s.” She snorted.

Iza fell to her knees and started panting, “get me to a delivery room! NOW!” she gritted through her teeth. Tarby picked Iza up and carried her to the delivery room they had ready for her.

“Oh, yeah.” They said in unison.

“You are such idiots.” Safyer chuckled as they rushed out carrying their mate. “Good luck, girls!” She yelled out. Safyer smiled and rubber her pup’s heads. “Well, your cousins want to join the party.” She smiled.

“All these pups joining the pack,” Celeste said. Her eyes were gleaming with happy tears. “If you’ll excuse me, I have to go and prepare all the rooms. You won’t have to worry about anything.” She kissed her daughter’s head. She smiled at her grandpups. “Welcome my beautiful babies.” She whispered as she kissed each of them.

They were quiet for a long while, just enjoying the time and waiting to hear from the other girls. “So, what do you think they’ll have?” Zoltan asked with a chuckle.

“If the Goddess has a sense of humor, she’ll give them multiples also.” Safyer laughed.

“Awe, that’s just wrong,” Klare laughed.

“Hey, they cursed me first.” She snickered, “not that you and your brother are a curse. No, you’re not.” She cooed.

“When did they do that?” Klare asked.

“It was at a dinner, I think when were at Blue Lake, after we all found our mate’s.” Zoltan answered.

“Yeah, they were sucking face at the table, I told them to get a room and there started the baby talk.” Safyer remembered.

“I think Iza is going to have twins,” Klare smiled. “Tarby’s a twin himself, but if she doesn’t then that’s just fine.”

“How do you explain these two?” Safyer chuckled.

“You don’t have to be a twin, twins run on both sides of our family.” Klare said.

Safyer sighed, “well, Wolfboy, you will hafta make do with these two for a LONG while. I’d like a couple of years before we even touch on another pup.” She said looking at Zoltan.

“That’s fine with me.” He smiled at his mate.

“You better wrap it when my heat hits.” She said.

“We both need to remember,” he told her with a smirk. “Whatever the Goddess has planned for us, will happen and we will not complain.” He said.

“Don’t you worry,” Ollie snickered, “that’s what my first mate said and then about a year later, she was pregnant with our second pup.” He chuckled.

Safyer snorted, “I plead insanity due to labor pains.” She said with a laugh.
