Chapter 89 Found Her
THIRD POV
There was less than seven days to the time limit they had to find that wolf.
The Grandmaster was panicking but he didn’t want to show it to anyone. He didn’t have enough information on where they were or who they were and if they weren’t able to kill her in time, that was going to mean that they would all die.
The blood of the special wolf was what was keeping them from dying and they needed to renew their sacrifice as quickly as possible.
He’d been thinking about sending people into packs undercover to search for anyone who had just recently found their wolf and they were over the needed age.
Most of the time, they were female and he had a strong feeling that this one was going to be a female too. Right now, that was the only option he had.
That was until he was at home one day and he felt it. The wolf had awakened.
He instantly rushed to the coven, hoping that the wolf would still be active by the time he got there so that he would be able to track her down.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t and he was very angry but that was fine. He knew that he was getting closer and closer to his goal. Very soon, they’d find her and they’d kill her.
He maintained that optimistic mentality and two nights later, he felt it again. Her wolf was active. This time around, he was happy because he was right in the coven when he felt it, which meant that it would be easy for him to access where she was.
He got to work immediately. Finding out where she was wouldn’t take a lot of time and before long, he breathed out in relief when he saw it before him.
Alpha Elijah’s pack.
He’d always known that the boy would cause trouble for him but this time around, he has a very good reason to attack him. No one could stand up to the cult, not when they didn’t want to lose their lives.
He would attack Elijah and take everything that belonged to him. After all, he’d always wanted it. He’d wanted it all and envied Elijah.
He called a meeting immediately and informed the brotherhood of his latest finding. Of course, they shared in his happiness.
“Really? You’ve found her?”
He could see the smiles on their faces, knowing that they couldn’t wait for a share of her powers to be theirs but that had been a lie. He didn’t plan on sharing any of it with them, he wanted it all to himself because he was the grandmaster and he deserved it.
Only Donald was dumbfounded since he wasn’t available for the meeting before.
“Yes, I’ve been able to locate her but I don’t know who she is yet. That would take more time which we do not have. The full moon is soon and if we don’t complete this task in time, we will pay with our lives.”
He didn’t want to die, for anything at all. He didn’t see the need, all this was not worth it.
“Is there a plan?” Malcolm asked.
“Well, yes and no. Because since we have no more time to waste, we have to take matters into our own hands and we have to act fast. We need help getting into the pack. The fact that her wolf has been awakened means that she won’t be able to guard herself and the people around her so breaking in won’t do any good.”
That was one thing about the situation that he didn’t like. The power they had without even realizing it. Such a waste.
He knew they were still waiting to hear the plan but right now, he didn’t have any. Maybe he should have thought about one before they came but he was so proud of himself that he couldn’t wait to tell them what he had done.
How on earth were they going to infiltrate his pack? His guards were the weakest link but right now, their problem wasn’t physical.
The issue was that there was a dome of protection over this pack and as long as she continued to remain there, they couldn’t get in.
“How about we lure her out instead of trying to get in?” He looked at the person who had spoken.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, since we can’t go, how about she comes to meet us? We can come up with something that’ll make her come running. Maybe we can tell her that Donald died.”
Everyone knew that it wouldn’t work. Her hatred for him wasn’t hidden and she didn’t care if he died. As long as he wasn’t in her life, she didn’t care.
He needed to think of something quickly and then it hit him.
“Donald, we’re going to be needing your daughter’s assistance. She’s entered his pack before and I’m sure she had help from someone who we’re going to be needing to speak to her.”
All eyes were on Donald.
“Elijah has her.”
“What?”
“Elijah came and arrested her. She’s with him.”
That would have been a slap on the face but he didn’t want to see it like that.
“Okay, that’s even better. It’ll be easier to get us what we want since she’s over there.”
Donald was confused with what was going on. He knew these men were planning against him but he didn’t know what to do.
He’d been given time to kill Alpha Elijah or else he’ll have to die. But he couldn’t kill Elijah and he knew so he might as well take advantage of the opportunity that was right in front of him.
Lisa was his daughter after all. She might agree to help them but he was going to have a plan of his own. He just needed to think about how to get to them.
After that, they were done for and he’d be able to get his revenge.
