Chapter 97 Evidence
Benjamin's POV
Zak walks in followed by my men. He hands me the burner phone he was using. Followed by an envelope addressed to me. I'm guessing a note. He then hands me a folder and a reaches into his pocket and hands me a thumb drive.
"What's this." I say looking down at it and rolling it around in my fingers.
"Just watch it. It will explain itself." He says as he rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders.
"Boss, hear me out. The Kings are not your threat. King Caden showed me all of this already. A war is coming. That's for damn sure. But it's not against them." He said as his mouth formed a straight line and his brows scrunched slightly.
He's serious. He's not joking at all. A war. Hell I've not even heard word of an attack.
"Men, we have shit to look at. We have work to do. Let's head to the war room. Let's take a look at this shit, shall we. Zak, you claim to have seen this. What should I look at first." I ask with the same look he just gave me.
"Boss, let's head to the room. Put in that thumb drive. That's going to explain a lot. Then lay that folder out. Look at everything and I mean everything. Keep that phone beside you. They are probably waiting on your call." Zak explains as we head to the war room. It's a big enough room for everyone and alot of table space.
I read their note first. I'm just sitting here dazed. I'm literally frozen solid. I don't know what to think, what to do. Caden, he wrote the note. It was signed by them both. So they really do Rule together. Jointly. As a team. I'm dumbfounded.
"What's going on boss?" Alex asks worriedly.
"Uh, Ummm. The Twin Kings just found out a few hours ago that dear old daddy was a douche. They also found out what we been trying to find out for years. The other packs that attacked us that night. Guys. Sit down. Do I get a fucking drumroll please?" I say as my men start drumming on the table with their hands and stomping their feet.
"Dark fang pack, River pack, Raging Rapids pack, Black Moon pack, Shadow pack and you guessed it, he had the Fucking Royal Army there, the Fucking Lycans." The room went silent. We knew about most of them. We didn't know that the Lycans were involved, that King Theo actually led the attacks, yes we were attacked for days. One after another.
I popped in the thumb drive. It was from their security cameras. They pulled up the security feed, guessing they record everything there. To prove their point. They were talking with a guy that was with them. A driver, he overheard a lot. Well that guy needs major protection, they will be coming for him. Then another piece of feed comes up. "That's Lydia, that's the girl that said she would take care of Trixie the day of the attack." Zak informed me.
"She Fucking What! She's not my damn Queen. When the Fuck was it mentioned that I would be with that psycho!" I screamed. I'm fuming at this point.
I look over at Trinity. Her brows are scrunched together. Her mouth in a frown. She's staring at me.
"Kitten, I don't know what that's even about. I'm so sorry." I say as I cup her face with my hands. "I didn't agree to any of that. I promise. Your my mate, my Queen." I say to her softly.
"Benny, I can tell she switched it up. Trixie even asked her if she always went for mated wolves. It's alright. I understand. I'm not mad at you. Clearly you didn't know." My kitten said to me with love and understanding.
"Fuck, rewind that. Tell me that didn't happen. Tell me her eyes weren't gold. Tell me those three didn't emit a bright damn light from them." Alex screams. His eyes are bugged out and his mouth forms an "0".
We rewatched the ceremony and the part where Trixie's eyes turned Golden when she talked to Lydia. We were all speechless.
"Did you all know, Trinity?" Ned asks my kitten.
"Not at all. She didn't have a wolf. She was wolfless atleast until.." she was saying until I cut her off "Until she turned 18. Ladies and Gentlemen. The last White Wolf!" I say loudly and point both hands to the screen as if I was introducing her.
"No! She can't be." Everyone but me whispered. But she most definitely is. I'd bet money on it.
I looked through the folder. I read every document. I looked at every picture. This was way to much evidence for me to ignore.
I get it. I really do. The twins, in their note, they apologized. They were only two years old when we got attacked and their father killed my parents. I guess it's really not their fault. But they are still going out of their way to try and make it right. They are trying to help me.
"Alright, this is a lot to take in." I say as I'm rubbing the back of my neck.
"Alex, contact the rest of our men. I want them all to get their asses here. Let them know to bring supplies." I ordered as I turned back around to look at him "I want Brandi here within the hour, no excuses. Keep your eyes open. I want the scheduled security team watching the cameras at all times."
"Alright guys, I'm going to take my kitten to the room. We need to talk. Privately. We will be back out shortly." I told them and they made cat calls and whistled, hooted and hollered but it really wasn't about that. It was what Caden put in the note.
Trinity and I went in the room. We sat on the bed.
"I need you to be honest. Can you do that kitten?" I ask her while raising my brow.
"Yes Benny. Did I do something wrong?" She asks nervously.
"Why were you and your family constantly hurting and bullying Trixie. Especially after your dad killed her parents, with the help from King Theo of course."
"I didn't know he killed her. I'm being honest. But before they died, my father was mean. He wasn't a good man. The stuff he and my brother did to Trixie, before she came around, that was done to me. After her parents died and Trixie came into the picture it wasn't me anymore. They started treating me like a princess. I knew it wasn't right but I joined in with them, hurting her. I just didn't want it to be me again. I also have evidence of what I'm telling you. Hidden under a floor board in my old room." She says as she's wiping the tears out of her eyes.
"We have a problem. Caden and Coban, they are willing to help. Your not aloud around Trixie or either of the Kings. They don't trust you at all. I do see their point."
