Chapter 59 Making plans
Caden's POV
We hated to leave Trixie this morning. With everything that has happened, we have a lot of things to take care of.
we are in our office going over paperwork and everything else while everyone keeps showing up one by one, demanding our attention. Demanding to see us.
"Coban, I was thinking". I start to say before he interrupted me " Oh shit brother, that's why I smelled smoke!" He smirks.
"Hahaha funny asshole. For real though" he cuts me off yet again "Sorry brother, I just didn't think you were capable to do so." He said with a raised brow.
"Dumbass!! Anyway Trixie, she's turning eighteen in a week, well 5 days to be exact, I was thinking, HUSH COBAN" I say with a stern look. "That we can have her coronation and party together."
"Brother, you never cease to amaze me, first thinking. Damn that's a struggle all on its own for you but damn, that's a great idea." Coban says.
I give him an " if looks could kill look" and he laughs at me.
"So our beautiful, amazing girl turns eighteen on the sixteenth, do you think we can have everything set up in time." I ask him.
"Go ahead and have Kevan and Sabrina take care of the preparations. We will make sure it's done by then." Coban says to me.
"Kevan" I say through mindlink "You and Sabrina arrange for Trixie's birthday party celebration and her Queen's coronation on the sixteenth. We will have them both together. Coronation first."
"Yes Caden, by the way, Elder Roy contacted you. I sent the email directly to you and Coban. Something about changes of the Alpha of White Claw Pack. Trixie's pack." He says.
"Thank you, Kevan. We will check it out." I say and then I close the link.
I immediately get on my computer and pull up the email. Fuck.
"Evidently there was a request for a new Alpha for the White Claw Pack." I smirk at Coban.
"Really, who would of figured. I wonder what could of possibly happened." He says sarcastically.
"Well brother, whatever this issue is, requires our undivided attention." I laugh. "Was you aware that the "White Claw Pack" was Trixie's pack." I ask my brother.
"Really. Time to catch up brother. Did thinking done went and fried your mind earlier. I knew you struggled with it but shit. Caden meet Trixie. She's from the white claw pack." He says as he rolls his eyes.
"Damn brother, I knew that Asshole.
I'm talking about that's HER PACK. Look at this."
He gets up and comes over to look at my screen. On the screen is documents upon documents showing the rightful heir of the White Claw Pack, Trixie.
Showing her Father, Alpha Roberto. Her Mother Luna Alicia.
Everything laid out in black and white with a request for change of Alpha.
All changes of leadership within packs have to be approved by the King. In this case Kings. This way it keeps order. Stops wolves from just trying to kill the Alpha to take over.
"Wait, brother. There's a clause in this. We signed off on it. Here's our signature. We were seventeen. We literally just took over. Damn.
"She's supposed to take over at eighteen. Melvin is supposed to step down automatically. So in five days legally, he won't be the Alpha. Look, here it is, the document." Coban says as he clicks on the document.
Well shit. Our Queen. Fuck. That's definitely her pack.
We continued looking through the documents and getting caught up on everything.
We doubled patrol and security at the borders. We also had to sign off on the spendings for the damn holes blown into our palace. Shit that costed a fortune to fix.
Hell it's almost lunchtime. The day has gone by that fast.
"Hey brother, last night, before you came up and we laid down to go to sleep, well Trixie and I" I said and continued to tell him what happened and all the interruptions.
"Damn Caden, I'm glad you got some time alone with our mate. I can't wait for some as well. Conan is driving me nuts about wanting our mate." My brother said.
"Hey look, it's lunchtime. I'm sure she's getting hungry and I know you haven't ate as well. Why don't you go enjoy some alone time with her, over some lunch. I already had some time alone with her which I don't feel it's fair to you." I tell him. " Oh by the way, I want you to know that since there's two of us and if I'm right, she's pure, look, I'm just going to come out and say it.
Brother, you saved yourself for your mate. You sacrificed for your mate. I didn't. Brother, all her firsts should be with you."
