Chapter 48 Preparations
Coban's POV
Now that Trixie is out of sight, and there is more of a chance she's safe, time to get into action.
"Elliot what's the situation at the dungeon?" I ask.
"We have been on lockdown since 6 PM. It's quiet my king." He replies.
"Mark anything yet" I ask him "Not yet. It's quiet Coban." My gamma replies.
"It's the dungeon. Get the guards to the basement. Seal the latch now! That's the target." Conan screams as he paces back-and-forth in my head.
"Elliott, gather up all warriors in the dungeon. Everyone get to the basement. Seal the latch. We will get to you all when the smoke clears." I say loudly and clear to him.
"What" Elliot says. "Thats an order" I say.
"What about the prisoners." he asks. Leave them. Back up and wipe the feed to the security cameras, I want no trace of anything to be found." I say.
"understand". he replies. "Be careful Elliot. You're in charge in there tonight. Make me proud." I say "I won't let you down, sir" he replies as we close our link.
"Casey we don't have time, you and the others get to the underground bunker, Now!!! The building is gonna blow." I say "What about the guards inside". He asks. "They will be safe. Fuck the prisoners and the building, as long as we get you guys to safety". I tell him " Yes sir we're moving as we speak." He says
"Casey, you're in charge of the bunker, as soon as you seal the latch, you guys will be locked in so don't close it till you all enter. When the smoke settles we will come for you." I explain "Casey get them all in. I'm counting on you." I say "I got this my king. Anything else I have work to do". he said "No, just you guys be safe." I say and we close the link.
I opened a link to my beta gamma and brother. "Hey guys the attack is on the dungeon. The building is gonna explode." I tell them. "Fuck!!! You gotta be kidding me." Caden screams
"Shit can't these premonitions come just a little sooner." He says and rolls his eyes.
"Coban, What about our Warriors placed". Kevin asked. "Took care of it. Elliott and the ones inside are going to back up and erase all feed. They're going to the basement. As for the guards outside the dungeon, I have them abandoning their posts and getting to the underground bunker." I say to them.
"What about the ones outside the palace entrance." Mark asked.
Damn, good point. Depending on the size of the blast it will distract them enough to possibly allow a group in.
"Francisco, move your men inside the palace doors, all 50 of you. Hell stand on each other other in here all I care. As soon as the blast is over there will be rogues trying to enter the palace doors. You 50, Your only job is to hold the line. Don't let any pass the door do you understand, fight inside. Shoot, don't shift. We don't need them plus 50 big bad wolves shifting inside the palace tearing up shit. Also, Don't you 50 step outside that door, you will be ambushed and killed as soon as you exit." That's an order!
"Understood" he said.
"Caesar they're blowing the dungeon. I want you to get 49 soldiers together, gear up, after the blast you need to come to the palace entrance ASAP. You and your guys will be entering a swarm of rogues, shoot them don't worry about shifting unless you have no other choice. I say.
"Got it sir."
"Mark, the situation is taken care of, thank you gamma. Hey has anyone heard from the women. They should of made it out of the tunnels by now." I ask them, worried for my mate.
"No, not yet. But damn. Do you feel that. She's sending safety, love, and warmth through the bond. Damn it's strong. Damn I want to hold her." Caden says.
"Do you think they made it. Why haven't they mindlinked us yet." Kevan ask.
Damn she's smart. Evidently they ran into trouble. They are still in the tunnels and she knows we will worry without any updates and get distracted. The bond. She's sending us a message through the bond.
"Hey guys, I think Trixie and Leigha are trying to send us a message. They are safe. But there's also a problem." I explain.
"Darien, you and Lucian get 10 men. Head up to the King's Quarters. There's a possibility of a problem there. Trixie and the other two hasn't came out of the tunnels. I'm thinking her and her wolf scented someone. Go clear the floor. Report back when finished." I order them.
"Yes sir, we're on it. Sir, is Trixie alright. " he asked.
Darien and Lucian has really taken a liking to Trixie. They even asked to be her personal guards when she's crowned our Queen.
"As far as I know. She's sending safety through our bond so I'm hoping that's a good sign." I say.
Here goes nothing. Approximately 10 minutes left. Time to announce this shit show. "How are you going to address it human. Hello, ladies and gentlemen welcome to the shit show 2.0. We're getting ready to get blown the hell up and then their gonna attack the hell out of. " Conan says as he smirks the most devilish smirk.
"Really, are you trying out for a comedy show." I ask him.
"Hey, you can tell them this is an audition for a horror movie. " he laughs. " Hush Lycan!!!" I say to him as I'm shaking my head at his antics.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is an announcement from the public broadcasting system, in approximately 10 min we are going to get blown up and attacked. But remember, this is not a test, I repeat, this is not a test." He has jokes "Lycan Enough"
