Chapter 45 The kiss
Coban's POV
Trixie, she's truly amazing. This tiny little lady can dance. That doesn't surprise me at all.
While we were enjoying our dance, I noticed Sandi walk over to Caden.
Here we go again.
"Coban, do you think I should go over and save him." Trixie smirks. I smirk back at her
"It will do him good to sweat a little. He created this mess. Let's see how he handles it first."
"Coban, if you don't mind me asking, you don't have to answer me if you don't want to, but how many women can I expect to have to fight for you?" She says as we continue to dance. "My Queen, you won't be able to find any that can say they have been with me." I whisper quietly in her ear. She instantly looks up at me.
I knew that would get her attention.
I wink at her. She gives me the most beautiful smile, as we once again get lost in eachothers eyes, but the moment is ruined as Sandi is causing a commotion.
"My king," she says quietly in a voice that's right above a whisper "as bad as I hate to leave your arms and believe me when I say I'll definitely be back in your arms tonight when this mess is over" and then smirks. "But my other king has gotten himself in quite a mess requiring his Queen to swoop in and save his ass."
I am so proud of my girl. The way she handled that situation. She walked up to them and handled it like the queen she was.
After Sandi stormed off and things settled back down. We all sat back at our table.
I look over at my mate and cup her face with my hands "My love, I don't want to let you go. This is very hard to say to you but, it's time. Please be careful. I can't live without my queen." I say quietly then I kiss her lips. It was just a small kiss, but we let our lips linger together. For a couple moments it's like no one else was in the room. Just her and I.
Damn, is it wrong to want to smash my mouth into hers, to kiss her with everything I've got.
"You be careful as well my King. I can't live without you either." She whispered back as she leaned in and kissed me. This kiss was a little more. I move my one hand to the back of her head and the other to her cheek. Damn, I don't want this kiss to end. We finally pull apart slowly as we stare into each other's eyes.
Caden gets up from his seat and kneels down in front of our mate. He cups her cheek with both his hands, "Sweetheart, Thank you for tonight. You are amazing my queen. Please be safe. Be careful. If you get into any trouble at all mind link Calvin or one of the others, they will get the message to me as I will be around at least one of them at all times. I'll miss you my queen." he whispers to her and then kisses her gently.
"I'll see you later my one and only queen, my lady." he says to her gently, stealing one last kiss before she has to go.
"My kings, Trixie" Calvin says and mock bows. "I know it's hard and you don't want to, but it's time. We have to get the women out of here. Trixie, please keep updating me on your well being. Please. I love you my dear." Calvin tells her as a tear goes down his cheek.
"I love you Cal. We will be alright. You all are the ones in danger and will be fighting. Please be careful, your all I have." She says as both my brother and I clear our throats. That gets a laugh out of her.
"My love, you have us now as well." I say gently to her. She walks up and stands in front of me. She pulls me down to her and crashes her lips into mine. It's gentle, soft, slow at first. Our breathing picks up. The kiss got heated fast.
"Uh huh" Caden said clearing his throat.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we really have to go."
Hesitantly we pull apart and stare one last time into eachothers eyes like we were both trying to say with our eyes what our mouths can't say.
We walk to the restrooms together. Trixie holding both Caden and my hand the entire way.
We stand outside the doors as they enter.
We wait for the "All Clear" that their alone in the bathroom. When one of our woman guards comes out she says "It's empty, plan in motion."
Time to get this party started.
"Ready brother" I say to Caden.
