Chapter 126 Cave System
Coban's POV
"Have you heard anything about the attack last night?" Kevan asks as he walked in our office.
"Yes, there was a couple different attacks last night. One on Dark Fang Pack, Which was very victorious. They played a moved out of Benjamins book." I laugh and shake my head. "Wasn't no fight though. They wired some shit up and sat back and watched the light show. Took out three fourths of their army though." I say as I run my hand through my hair.
"Who else got attacked. You did say there was more than one, right?" Darien asked with one brow raised as he stared at me.
"Yes. There was. Benjamin got hit last night." I said and explained the situation to them and who it was. "No way! They didn't! They fucking disarmed fucking shit that large. Hell, we need him here with us!" Lucian said as he was very impressed. "Tell me your joking. He not only disarmed the damn shit but controlled it causing just a little poof and a flash of light. How the hell did he know how to control it that well." Mark said as he was equally impressed.
"I'm not exactly sure, but that's why they have the reputation they do. Their army is second to ours. That's saying a lot to boys. They have lower numbers and almost just as strong." I say as I respond to a certain email.
"Since Blake nor Darren has been found, I guess there's no trial today, correct." Kevan asked ask he was typing on his laptop.
"That's correct." I was saying before I got interrupted.
"Coban, Caden. We have a problem here in the dungeon. Evidently we had a couple more moles as three of our men wasn't here this morning at shift change and Melvin, Richard, and Sophie are missing. The doors are open to their cells. Chains were unlocked. They were let out." He rambles then lets out a sigh. "They must of left the cameras unattended as well, of course. We're not sure how long because they erased that footage before they left." He finished.
"Your joking. Who were they. Fuck! Didn't we get two of Blake's moles not too long ago?" I ask but I know we did. "Evidently sir, they had more in here that we overlooked." He said. "Well that's obvious. Alright. So, what about Charlie? Is he missing as well?" I ask as I run my hand through my hair.
Trixie must feel that I'm upset because she walks in the room and sits on my lap. She places her palm of her hand on my chest and lays her head on my shoulder. I place my hand on her back, and rub gentle circles.
"Thank you love." I whisper quietly to her.
"That room is different. The door is set up where the other guards can't get in. So Charlie boy is a permanent resident." He chuckles.
"Well one thing went right. Thanks Elliott. Make a list of all men that's came in within the last couple years. I need that ASAP." I say before I close the link.
I catch everyone up in the room. I let them know what happened and everything Elliott just told me.
"Blake must be desperate. Neither of them have a pack now. That means one thing." Caden said. I already know exactly what that means.
"They will be coming for the crown." I say as I place my chin on Trixie's head. "Exactly " Caden said as he placed his hand on her thigh.
"What have you found out about the cave?" I ask Kevan. "The cave is not just a small cave with one entrance. It's a cave system. There's quite a few different ways you can enter and exit. They stretch on for miles. I sent a team in one end and found nothing but that was just a small fraction of the cave." He said as he shook his head and finally took his eyes of his screen.
Fuck! We have to search that entire cave. We have to find them! They will be coming for the crown. It's that obvious.
I shoot over a quick text to Benjamin for him to call when he has some free time. My phone rings instantly.
"Yes, Benjamin I have a question about the cave that Blake is hiding in." I say as I updated him about our dungeon break as well.
"What's your question Coban. It's not a cave man. It's a fucking huge ass cave system. That system there held me and my entire team of men at one point and we still had room to triple our numbers." He said. "Do you remember a layout. It doesn't have to be perfect, just something to go by." I say as I'm really hoping he does. "Of course. I'll draw up a map. I know exactly where all entrances and exists are. That will definitely help. I can give you a roundabout on this inside. It will be close but not perfect."
Thats exactly what we need. Benjamin has really been a very big help to us lately. "We've helped eachother." Conan points out.
"Fuck! That would be awesome. Thanks Alpha." I say as a smirk appears on my face.
"I'll work on that here in just a bit. I have to pay my guests a visit and I'll get a few guys together and we will send you what we come up with, should be before dinner." He says.
"Thanks again" We say our goodbyes and we end the call.
I let everyone know what's going on.
"Hell yeah. Now we get to explore!" Mark said with a huge ass grin on his face.
