Alpha Dorian's POV
Alpha Dorian pov
“Now you have seen what you did and yet you expect us to help you?!! When you didn’t even help yourself when you needed it.” She said and I couldn’t help but be confused and frustrated…I never like Erica because she was a rouge and when she was killed i never for once tried to find her.
“I would be in the palace now, do not waste time so we can get to find Aurelia before she is killed…her death is on the way I can feel it.” She said and ended the call immediately which sent me off point.
I drove as fast as I could to the palace and as I got closer to the gate of the palace I saw that the guards were still everywhere and even some of the guards where lurking in the bush clearly trying to find a way to track Aurelia .
“I can’t believe she is not In the palace…I need to find her with our bond.” I said to myself and just then the priestess arrived in my car and looked scared.
“What if I tell you that one of your mates isn’t actually dead?” She said and I immediately turned to her.
“That can never be possible,” I said to her.
“Are you that sure because Erica is alive!! She can’t be!” I yelled in hopes that I was just being deceived,
“You don’t want this to happen because of how badly you have tortured her but it can’t just ever be avoidable. She might be the one killing all your mates because she was always your first mate and you didn’t even care about when she died…I think she is about to pay you back for everything you did to her.” She said and couldn’t help but begin the shake in fright…was this really happening?
Erica's POV.
I didn't know what to expect from him, he looked really angry and it scared me.
I didn't realize I'll see him here, all I came here to do was cry.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come here." I hiccuped.
I started sobbing as my tears stained the dirt around us. I wiped off my cheeks and looked back at him. His expression showed a mixture of guilt, hurt, and anger.
But mostly confusion. He stared down at me with no emotion. I was starting to feel scared again.
"I'm so sorry." I muttered.
"You should be working like the other slaves."
"So can you give me one credible reason why you're here?" He barked.
I bit my lip. Why am I even crying? It's not like he cares anymore than usual, but still the sight of his face made my heart ache.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from the wall. I let out a whimper.
"Where are we going?" I managed to squeak out.
His eyes locked on mine in an instant. I felt chills go up my spine as I stared at those piercing grey orbs that were filled with hatred.
"Back." He grumbled under his breath, not taking his eyes away from me.
I quickly nodded, afraid of getting a slap on my face.
He stopped close to the gate, turning to me again, I clutched my hands nervously.
"What is it now?" I mumbled.
"Don't talk when I'm talking to you!" He yelled, making me flinch and jump slightly, his tone changed to that of calmness, but still angry.
A tear fell from my cheek. He clenched his fists in anger. I couldn't look away from his eyes, they held such a cold and dark glare that almost sent shivers down my spine.
Then he turned away from me again, opening the gate.
"Go back and do your duties." He barked, stalking away.
"S...Sure thing, Sir." I stuttered, trying not to fall down as the fear of being hit hit me hard.
As soon as the gate swung shut, I ran to the slave quarters.
I paused when I met the head slave, she glared hard at me, slapping immediately I faced her. My back hit the door and I dropped to my knees. She walked away while muttering something about how worthless I am.
That only made my chest tighten more. I tried to steady my breathing, but nothing helped.
I crawled to a corner, where I sat on the ground and cried.
After crying, I stood up in my room, jumping on the bed. I fell asleep immediately.
*********
When the sun set, I stood up groggily, running out. I didn't want to get punished today.
I went to the head slave to get a list of what I had to do today.
When I got the list, I gasped,if was freaking long, I looked at the list of other slaves and I was surprised to see how short it was.
I looked at the long list of duties I had again,
they were just things I had to do. There wasn't much, most of them were light stuff like washing or sweeping and cooking or cleaning, I knew it was his doing.
I started working in the kitchen after dinner.
I finished everything pretty fast and they gave me the night shift, which was the worst because I was alone with so much work to do.
The next morning, the same thing happened.
Only this time they assigned me the chores by rank, but it wasn't too hard. All I had to do was wash the floors, sweep and carry loads.
All day, they kept giving me the night shift, so I would stay there until midnight.
It was a constant circle of suffering, each new night cycle was worse than the last, I don't think it was possible for me to get used to it.
I started working as a cook. I was the only slave who cooked, everyone else worked in the laundry or cleaned the houses.

It was week and it seemed like everything reduced,
