Chapter 103: Welcome Home
A man dressed in a doctor’s white coat and carrying a black medical bag leaves his office heading towards the back door of the hospital. As he reaches the parking lot he takes out a set of car keys and presses a button on the remote keychain, with a horn sounding and headlights flashing he goes ahead to the company car. Getting in the drivers seat and putting his seatbelt on he then puts the key into the ignition and turns it, the roaring the engine sounds and looking through all his mirrors he backs up then exits the parking lot he drives in the direction of the Stratton Estates. Parking the car in the driveway of the resident he shuts the motor off and gets out of the car by closing the door behind him.
After walking up the path to the front door he nods to the two guards standing at the door, he then knocks. Waiting a while a young girl finally answers the door and when she does her jaw drops, then is replaced by a huge smile. “ROCCO!!!” the girl screams as she throws her arms around his neck. “Hi Analina, miss me?” “You know that I did.” She ushers him inside and closes the door behind them she then puts her arm around his waist as he puts an arm around her shoulder. She escorts him to the sitting room where she left Stavros and Bruno sitting on the sofa watching a movie that they had been watching.
They walk into the room and yelling excitedly Analina says. “Stavros look who’s back!!!” Stavros looked up and noticed Analina standing in the doorway with his son Rocco. He stands up from the sofa and walks up to them throwing his arms around Rocco. “Welcome home, son.” “It’s good to be home, dad.” They go over to the sofa and Stavros goes to return to his seat on the sofa as Analina does the same seating between both Stavros and Bruno and Rocco seating in a chair. “So, the disguise worked I see.” Bruno says to Rocco. “Yep, no problems, I was even followed.” “That’s good.” Analina said. “So, what have you guys been up to while I was in the hospital for the week?” “Just watching movies with Stavros and Bruno. Dad didn’t think I’d be any good at work, so he had me stay home.” “I’m sorry.” “What are you sorry about? I should be the one to apologize it was my fault that you got shot in the first place.”
“Has she been like this the whole time?” Rocco asked the two men. “Pretty much.” answered Bruno. “So, exactly who are you? I don’t think that we have been introduced.” “I’m Bruno, I work for John Stratton as a warrior. I’m also Analina’s fiancé.” He said smirking evilly. “WHAT?” “Hey, just kidding man. Even though I did ask her to marry me she turned me down. We decided to be besties instead.” “Wha, don’t do that to me, I don’t need another man to compete with.” “Sorry.” “So, what you guys watching?” “Rambo.” Stavros answered his son’ question.
Andros P.O.V.
As I came home I went straight for the sitting room knowing very well that Analina will be there binge-watching movies with Stavros and Bruno like she’s been doing for the past week. I enter the room and see a man in a white doctor’s coat. “Hi, my Angel. Is someone ill?” “No, Rocco is home from the hospital this is only a disguise.” Analina explained to me. ‘Oh, well it looks like it worked your not dead.” I said chuckling to myself but to my surprise so is everyone else. Rocco stands up from his hair and finally takes off the white doctor’s coat. “I’ll have to give this to Doctor Lee when he comes here next. When do you have another appointment for the baby?” “I Don’t I already had my appointment for the month. I will have one next month, but we will be in Mexico, so I’ll be seeing Doctor Anderson.” “Oh, ok. I’ll just wait for him to make another house call or if someone goes to the hospital to see him.”
“So, do you have physical therapy or are you automatically put on light training?” I asked Rocco being that we both got the same injury from being shot at. “Just light training, I can up it any time I feel that I can handle more Doctor Marrtin said.” “Well, you must not have had any damage to muscle or bone then.” “No.” We continued to talk and watch Rambo until we were told that it was time to have dinner.
Rocco’s P.O.V.
We made our way into the dining room to have dinner, and I noticed that Analina took a seat next to my father instead of her normal seat next to Andros. I whispered to Mavrick. “Is everything ok between Analina and Andros?” “Yes, it’s just that you father took the liberty of hogging Analina all to himself at mealtimes.” He informed me of this change since my father’s been here. I saw the scene that is unfolding in front of us all noticing how tense Andros looks at the situation of my father’s and Analina’s sitting arrangement. I thought that there relationship was beyond this petty and childish behavior especially from someone like Andros.
Analina’s P.O.V.
Once we finished dinner, had tea and dessert Andros and I headed quietly to our wing. We enter the living area and Andros starts to speak. “Can we talk?” “Sure.” I said. . "Analina," he began, his tone laced with both curiosity and restraint, "Why have you been sitting next to Stavros tonight instead of me? Is something going on that I should know about?" Analina glanced at Andros, her expression soft yet resolute. "Andros, it’s nothing personal," she replied calmly. "Stavros has been quite eager to spend more time with me during meals while he is here visiting his son and I didn’t see the harm in indulging him. It’s just a temporary arrangement." Andros raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Temporary? You know I don’t mind sharing your time, but it feels... unusual. It’s not like you to let someone dictate where you sit." “ Andros we already talked about this when he first got here.” “I know, I just thought it would be a one-time thing, not the whole time his been here.” “I’m sorry, honeysuckle. Things will go back to normal once he goes back home.” I reassured him. I kissed him on the lips and the more he got into it I started to deepen the kiss and before we knew it we were heading to the bedroom for the best make-up sex that we have ever had.
The next morning it was business as usual since Stavros was heading back home and Rocco is out of the hospital. The eight of them headed to work as usual Jonathan and Andros has a meeting to attend this morning and Analina and Mariann must get the conference room ready. Analina happy with having to get back to a work routine and help in any way possible to sort out documents and refreshments for the meeting in which they will also be sitting in on being their assistants.
