CHAPTER 30

"I'm sorry"

He looked at me and he smile. That melt my heart. How can he act like nothing happend between us?

I asked him to meet me.

"It's okay. You don't need to ask for forgiveness"

Grayson hold my hand. "I just want you to be happy"

I tried to smile, but I can't bring myself into it.

"Atleast, we can still be friends, right?"

I slightly nod my head. Grayson is a good friend. When I first met him I know he's a good person.

I felt a little bit sad right now. Sana hindi nalang nya ako ginusto. Hindi ko sana sya nasaktan.

"Let's hang out some other day with Kalee. I'm busy right now."

"Steven"

He just glanced at me "hm?" He answered.

"May gusto kabang sabihin saakin?"

This time, lumingon na ito saakin at binitawan nya ang hawak nyang papel.

"Like what?" He's avoiding my eyes right now.

"Steven"

He chuckle "I have nothing to say to you okay? I just want you to be careful. You know Sandro. What if he saw you hanging out with that guy named Grayson? He'll probably misunderstand it"

I knew it. Steven will make excuses.

Nice try though.

I rolled my eyes and glared at him

"Whatever."

"Start doing your essay. You're running out of time"

I'm so annoyed. One of our professors want us to make 20 Paragraph about what keeps us going.

"I'm so annoyed. What are we? A high school student?" Reklamo ko.

Steven tap my shoulder. "Just do it. You don't even have any choice"

I sigh.

"Reese"

"What keeps you going?"

I looked at him for a moment and look away.

I don't know what keeps me going. I just think I needed to go on with my life. I spend each day doing the same thing.

"I don't know" I answered.

"Silly" he chuckle and tap my head.

I went to a supermarket after my class. I saw awhile ago na wala na palang laman ang cabinet at ref ko. I should put a lot of food dahil tamad akong lumabas labas.

While I was roaming around I saw symon with his mom? I think mommy nya ang kasama nya ngayon. I'm not quite sure because I never met Sandro's mom and dad.

"How about yogurt? Meron kapa ba?" I heard his mom asking him.

Symon put a lot of yogurt sa cart nila and he said "Mom you should buy Sandro a lot of chocolate drink. I saw his fridge wala ng laman"

Sandro really likes chocolates. Wala sya itsura nya but yes, he likes sweets. I remember asking him why he likes sweets ang sagot nya lang "Nakaka boost ng energy?"

"Reese" natigilan ako sa aking paglalakad when I heard someone calling my name.

Who would it be? Kahit hindi ako lumingon I know its Symon.

I smile before I look at them. "Hello po" I said.

Symon's mom looked at me from head to toe. Hindi nakaka offend yung tingin nya. She's looking straight in my eyes.

"You are?" She asked me.

"She's Sandro's girlfriend mommy" Sagot ni Symon.

Humakbang ako papalit sa mommy nila at nag mano. I think its a proper thing to do.

"I'm Reese. Nice to meet you po"

I may be rude but I still know how to respect others. Im not that bad.

She smile but she looks sad?

"Bakit hindi dinadala ni Sandro sa bahay ang girlfriend nya?"

Napakamot ako ng batok at lumingon kay Symon.

"I'll visit po next time" I said.

"We're quite busy lang mommy."

I keep smiling kahit nangangawit na yung panga ko. Damn it. I should have stayed at home.

"Want to eat some pasta with us?"

I want to decline pero nakaka bastos naman kung ganon hindi ba? Argh.

"Sure po" I answered.

We put our groceries sa sasakyan nila before we went inside again to eat pasta. Nakakahiya dahil naka uniform pa ako and they'll probably drop me off later. Im so embarrassed.

I want to text Sandro pero hindi ko malabas ang phone ko dahil feeling ko nakaka bastos?

Damn it. I have no idea what to do because this is my first time meeting my boyfriend mom.

"What do you want?" Hindi rude at masungit magtanong ang mommy nila but it's quite intimidating.

"I'll have pesto penne pasta nalang po"

She smile at me and look at the menu again. This is so awkward. I keep looking at Symon but he's looking at his phone. Damn it. Please do something

"What about you, Symon?"

"Tagliatelle al Ragù Alla Bolognese"

Gusto kong matawa ngayon, napaka arte ni Symon lasagna lang naman pala ang gusto nya.

Patago akong napa iling sakanya.

"I am Ayen. You can call me mommy ayen of tita ayen. Whatever you like iha" she's smiling while saying that but I still feel a little bit nervous.

"You must be Reese" She knows me.

"Kinakabahan si Reese mommy. Stop asking her a lot of questions okay?" Symon chuckle.

"I didn't even ask her, anak" natatawang sagot naman ni Tita Ayen.

"Mom!" Nagulat kaming lahat dahil sa pag dating ni Sandro. Nag hahabol pa ito ng hininga.

"What are you doing here?" Tanong sakanya ni Tita Ayen.

"How can you eat without me?" He said and he sit beside me.

He hold my hand under the table. Having him beside me give me peace.

"Who told you na nandito kami?"

He pointed Symon.

Thanks God.

"Are you okay?" He whispher in my ear. I am af course. Why wouldn't I?

I nod my head.

"Let's meet again next time. Tayong dalawa lang" She said.

I smiled at her "Yes po"

"Sasama ako" sagot ni Sandro.

"No, its a girl date"

Sandro rolled his eyes.

"You can't go out with her, without me, mom"

Hindi ako nabusog because I never had a chance to eat my pasta. Whenever I tried to eat Tita Ayen will asked me a questions.

"Are you tired?" Sandro asked.

I smile and convulse my head "I'm not."

"I know you're hungry. Want me to cook something for you?"

Hinatid ako ni Sandro sa bahay at nandito pa din sya hanggang ngayon.

"Are you a good cook? Because steven is a good cook"

He looked at me "Af course I am!" Mabilis nitong sagot at sinimangutan ako.

"Okay. I'll take a bath first. You can cook na"

"Should I eat you instead?"

"Sandro!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs.
