Chapter 50
"What?" Myan walked closer to him, her hands spread to receive his incoming arms that were spread apart for a hug. She had a feeling he would tell her some bad news but a part of her was hopeful.
He rested her head against his chest and kissed the top of her head. "I got my powers back,” he said it as if it meant nothing to him.
"What?!" She attempted to pull away, but he kept her head pressed against his chest, enjoying the peace that accompanied it.
"Yes!" He smiled. Although he hadn't exactly shown it, it was a major upgrade for him.
"Where is Asha?" She suddenly remembered the state they had met Minrad in. The poor woman and her attempt to take her life over her husband's death.
"She hasn't regained consciousness,” he sighed, letting her go to hold her at shoulder length. Minrad’s death had come as a shock to him as well. Regardless of their issues, he had been the only other man he might have cared about.
Myan closed her eyes, feeling the tears threaten to fall. She wouldn't know what to do if it had been her facing this instead. "I'm so sorry for her,” she sighed.
"The palace guards are here to clear the bodies, funny thing is they have no idea that the water was from the world of water, they truly have no idea that it exists, they all think it was from an unexplainable flood. Anukgo's curse truly worked." Ash shook his head.
"Wait, what?" Myan widened her eyes. This was all happening way too fast for her, and she still had no time to process it all. What about Achu and the fourth princess? Would they have memories of the other anymore?
She went in the direction of the door, opened it and looked outside to find that the bodies were really gone like he had said.
"What's going to happen now?" Myan could only wonder. So many people had just lost their families and they would never know that it was not a mistake.
"I guess we resume life as we know it." Ash wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.
She sunk into his embrace, closing her eyes with a sigh.
"But that was the most tiring experience for me, it does not feel as though life can go back to normal after any of this,” she said in a low voice as Ash traced his index finger down the nape of her neck. She lifted her head to grant him this access.
"It was for me,” he said in an even deeper voice, leaning to kiss the side of her neck.
"Let's go inside, anyone can see us,” she snapped her eyes open in realization.
"That would be their problem. Nobody is here." He moved one hand from her waist upwards, so he cup one breast in his grip.
"As…h!" She began with a yelling note and trailed off with a moan.
"Come on, we can't do this here." She wanted to stop him but every bit of her knew so well that she needed his touch now more than ever.
Ash graduated to her other breast and found her lips. He planted a kiss on her lips so aggressively, it felt like he wanted to rip it off her face.
She turned around, holding his cheeks, her eyes closed and standing on the tip of her toes to get to his height while he supported her balance with his hands on her waist.
Ash's hands moved downwards to cup her butt cheeks. He squeezed tight and pushed her closer until her stomach was against his hard manhood through his pants.
Myan put one hand on his shoulder and the other trailed downwards to fiddle with his manhood through his pants.
Ash pulled away from the kiss to groan a little.
Myan loved the sound of him and kissed his cheek before taking the decision to go on her knees, not letting go of his penis, she continued to fiddle with his manhood regardless.
She finally let go so she could pull his pants down and once she was exposed to such a strong boner, she let her hands lead him into her mouth. She held the shaft of his manhood and let the tip of her tongue draw circles on his tip, knowing it would take him from their world.
For the first time in a while, it felt like a safe time to actually get intimate with the love of her life and she wanted to make it worth it.
His groans cheered her on as she salivated on his manhood, attempting to go all the way down her throat until he hit a choking spot that made her eyes roll all the way to the back. He was conscious enough to stop her from hurting herself and retreated a little but that did not get him to completely pull away from her.
She continued and kept up with it until he decided it was time to let go. He wanted to please her as well and his dangling manhood slapped her cheek a few times as he tried to help her get to her feet. He lifted her bridal style, not minding how awkward it was with his boner.
He led her into the bedroom and set her on their bed. Leaning forward, he kissed her forehead and set her hair backwards with a few gentle strokes. It pleased him to adore how beautiful she was with her eyes closed and mouth slightly opened, exhaling deeply as she waited for him to touch her. She was an angel, and he would never unsee it.
He moved his lips to her neck, sucked on the skin gently, pulled out with a soft lip kiss and proceeded to her chest area, listening to her every moan as if his life depended on the sound of it.
With one hand, he managed to get her out of her dress and stopped it at her waist before progressing to hold her breasts.
He caressed her right nipple with the pad of his thumb and licked every inch of the other, with his tongue.
Myan closed her eyes tight, not wanting to scream but he was bold enough to move his free thumb downwards, lifting her gown above her waist and slipping it into her underwear. He loved it when she gasped in pleasure at his touch. He rubbed his thumb along her clitoris and that released her voice, her moans filling the room. She was so high on the way, she didn't know what to do with her hands and began to yank on her hair, her eyes shut tight, sweat coating her forehead as she tried to move her legs. He was torturing her by going so slow and she needed him to hit a spot she couldn't find.
Ash took a new position above her, balancing his weight on his arms that were on both sides of her and slowly penetrated her when she spread her thighs to grant him full access.
He hit every part of her that she wanted to feel, and she held onto his strong arms for support, loving every angle that he touched, lost in the pleasure of it all….

They had both gone to bed after everything and Myan came awake, her head rested on Ash's naked chest, when a knock on the door interrupted.
She sat up, rubbing her eyes, trying to find the closest thing to wrap her body with. The knock came again, this time louder, and it must have been a while for whoever was knocking.
"Who is it?" Myan stood up, ignoring a snoring Ash. She picked her mishandled gown from off the floor and slipped it on, raking her fingers through her hair to reduce how crazy she looked.
"Asha." The tired voice came.
Myan widened her eyes and hastened her steps to the door.
She opened it and found a tired looking Asha with a bag by her feet. Her black gown hinted that she was mourning, and it was hard to overlook.
"Where are you going?" Myan asked her.
"Burn kingdom. It is about time anyway." Asha forced a smile.
"All by yourself?"
"I'll do fine,” she assured Myan.
Myan didn't think so, especially since she had tried to jump off a mountain.
"We overstayed our welcome anyways." It was evident that she didn't like the pluralism.
"Don't say that…"
"All we wanted was to help Ash feel better, who knew I'd be a lord's wife before we left, or that I'd be leaving alone, I…you know, it is so sad how we can't predict the future, yet we spend the little time we have worrying about our insecurities and missing out on things we could have done, like tomorrow is assured, but it isn't…I just, I just don't know what to do." Asha broke down as she spoke. "What am I without Minrad?"
Myan attempted to pull her into a hug, but she refused it, moving away. "No. I don't want an outburst of emotions. I'll do just fine on my own." She wiped her tears with the back of her palms and sighed. It was all of no use
"Do well." Asha concluded and turned around to leave. It terrified Myan how simply she spoke. What was going through her head with that time? Would they ever meet? Would she want to stay alive? She just would never know but she hoped that after today, their lives would go back to normal.

Two Months Later.
"Where are you going? At least, drink a cup of black tea or something." Myan rushed to Ash's side, stirring the content of the cup in her hands.
"Hunting." Ash cracked his knuckles, securing his goatskin bag around his waist.
"You need strength for that." She held his hand and led him to a seat in their shallow living room.
Their mountain was now scantier than it used to be, but the major thing was that they were happy. They had lesser servants now because of the terror that had happened. It went down history as one of the worst days ever. People still mourned their loved ones and painters illustrated it in every shop.
The people's powers had returned with a reverse spell and things seemed to be moving in a normal direction.
"I am strength in itself,” he chuckled, feeling proud of himself. He received the cup from her and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Will you be home late?" She wondered, getting to her feet.
"Why?" He raised an eyebrow, not looking up from the tea in his hands.
"It's nothing, I just want to go bird watching and see if I can paint one of them and improve my painting ability.
"I won't take long. Rest until it is evening, and we will take your stroll together,” he said, placing the empty cup on the stool beside him and getting to his feet. She leaned in for a hug and nodded against his chest in response to his words.
She wanted to leave the cave so she could at least have some time away from the boredom that entangled her, but she did not want to argue with him.
"I love you,” he assured her when they pulled apart and took his leave.
"I love you too,” she responded with a smile and watched him until he disappeared from sight.
Myan was getting ready to take her afternoon nap when she heard a loud slam against the cave door that forced her to sit up in bed. Her first instinct was she was under attack, but she didn't want to believe so since there had been nothing but peace in the last few days.
"Ash?" She called with uncertainty, making her way for the living room, picking a pan beside her just in case.
