Chapter 38—Patient Dog
Elvin touched her breast as he rode deeper in her. She was slick, warm, and sweet that it took a certain focus for him not to be lost in the moment. He needed to please her. Eve, however, looked carried away with the sensation of his thrusting that she had uttered she loved him without realizing it.
Did she mean it, or was it just this? He was stuck with her. How certain was he that he really loved her? All these feelings Elvin had checked, but he wasn’t sure how to prove it was all true. For all he knew, he could very well be deceiving himself.
Yes, he loved her body, and the fact that she was a sex goddess. No doubt being with someone like this would mean everyday sex and nothing brought couples closer than sex. He had plenty of that with her, but still, he didn’t know her. He was in her, feeling her warmth envelope his hard dick pushing into her as it sent rippling sparks of pleasure through her body, causing her to moan, yet, now, he wasn’t sure of himself.
And then, Elvin decided to be selfish. Yes, he loved her. He loved this. Oh, how much he loved this especially. The sex. What would love get out of this? It would probably ruin it if they fell in love. Was she really the one whose face he wanted to see every morning? Was she really the one with whom he wanted to bear his kids? This was beyond just saying some vows and taking up the position of man and wife. This was about making someone like Eve a part of his future, someone whose past and present, he literally knew nothing about.
How could he trust her? But she had opened her treasure to him. Literally, he had access to her body, as she had access to him, but why did he mistrust her words…those words that had come out of uncertainty. Uncertainty because she acted like she didn’t trust him to love either. But they did everything together. Basically, they were a couple, but they weren’t dating, and that he had wanted to change, but she had said no due to complications.
Love!
Eve cried out in ecstasy, distracting Elvin’s chain of thought, and she clamped hard around him as her body convulsed beneath him. Elvin didn’t stop pushing deeper into her. He fucked her through her climax, making her cry out more, but mostly, enjoying the sight of her.
How could you doubt this, he chided himself. How could he doubt such a lady whose heart, he thought, was within reach? Maybe, she too had a bad past. Besides, she had said something about seeing her fiancé cheating with her best friend. She was also a lady experiencing pain, one who needed to heal. And here he was doubting her intentions.
Elvin provided Eve with the absolute distraction. He had made her forget her ex, her horrible past, and probably any other guy who wanted to have this with her. He was with her. Did any other thing really matter? That he didn’t know her was probably because she had closed off that section of her life in her will to forget.
But her words of love. Was it a glimpse of some kind of future hope with her? Because if it was, all those initial questions if she would like to be the mother of these kids and the face he gets to see first every morning, then that was a definite yes.
Eve’s fingers clawed his back, and her shaky legs wrapped around him. She was breathing hard, somewhat lost of her surroundings with sweat glistening on both their bodies.
Elvin leaned down and kissed her lips. She kissed him back, moaning, and then, Elvin chose to focus on her. Her heat was pleasing, and then he heard her moaning his name. It sounded sweet to hear. It came from her lips like a song.
With his focus back in the game, he drove himself to the stars, shattering when he reached a certain height, and making her body also writhe from another beautiful climax.
Elvin pulled out of her and rolled onto her side. She shivered with her eyes closed, her hips jerked involuntarily. Spasms of pleasure washed through her like waves on the sea, and her body remained unsettled each time he tried to touch her. He laughed for he too was sensitive, but watching her, really, there was nothing more beautiful.
“You look beautiful,” Elvin said. “Wish I could ride you again.”
Eve managed a grin. “I understand you want to kill me.”
Elvin leaned closer to kiss her. “At least, it would be said that she died of pleasure rather than pain. You deserve it, Eve. You weren’t cut out for pain.”
She shook her head. “Yet, I still feel pain. My period. Not to mention the awaiting discomfort of pregnancy should I decide to be pregnant. Then, childbirth.”
Elvin was lost in thought. What he wanted to say was if she would choose me, he would be with her through these moments, but he didn’t know how to say that without sounding so awkward.
“Still, I don’t think you should face them alone,” Elvin said.
“But most women do face them alone. And I may be among the unlucky bunch.”
“As your friend, I could be with you through these moments.”
Eve was settling enough to look at him. “You want us to be friends?”
“So far this doesn’t stop,” he said, “Yes. At least, let’s have somewhere to start from, and stop seeing each other as…” He made a circular side-hand gesture.
“I understand,” Eve said. “This won’t have to stop. And you’re certain you’ll be with me through it all?”
“Absolutely.”
“Kiss me, Elvin.”
Elvin came closer, and his lips brushed hers. Eyes locked, they kept up with these light brushes, making each other the center of their focus, then their lips touched and threatened never to separate.
Eve melted into Elvin, and he too into her. She touched and caressed him with passion, and lightly, he ran his hand up and down the side of her body.
“I love you,” Elvin said.
Eve smiled. “Friends, Elvin. Let’s start there.”
Still heartbroken she was. He would wait till she was ready.
