“What did he say?” I asked with a look of disbelief on my face. He did not tell her we had sex all night. 
“He told me you are so tired after shopping the whole day,” she said while putting one more toast on my plate. I took a deep breath of relief when she said that. 
“Still, he should at least inform me before leaving. I am late only because of him," I said while chewing on the toast. She chuckled after listening to my complaints. 
“The driver will take you to the office,” Aunty told me once I was done eating. I nodded my head. There was traffic on the road, so I ended up even later to the office on my very first day. I was an hour late when I reached the office. As soon as I got out of the car, I ran to the reception. 
“Hey, I am Luna, and I'm joining as an intern today. Can you tell me where Mr Riviera's office is?” I asked her with a small smile. 
“Wait a second,” she said before checking something, and then she told me the floor of his office. I thanked her before taking the lift to the twenty-seventh floor. I reached the floor and walked straight to his office, but I was stopped. 
“Who are you and where are you going?” she said sternly while looking at me with scrunchy brows. 
“Hey, I am Luna, and I am joining as an intern today,” I told her with a smile. Her brows furrowed even more, and she looked at her wristwatch. The very next second I heard a taunt from her mouth. 
“First day and late. This is not how things work here!”
