Chapter 77
Chapter 77
In the darkness of Michael's bedroom, their lips found each other again. This gentle kiss quickly deepened as Georgiana responded with unexpected eagerness, her fingers threading through his hair.
Michael's hands moved with tender confidence, exploring the curves of her body through the thin fabric of her pajamas.
His palm slid beneath her top, warm against her skin as it traveled upward.
Georgiana tensed momentarily, her breath catching in her throat. She arched her back instinctively, pressing against his abdomen before collapsing back onto the mattress, suddenly self-conscious of her reaction.
Michael sat up, kneeling beside her on the bed. Though the room was dark, her eyes had adjusted enough to see him pull his shirt over his head.
Georgiana's breath caught again, but for an entirely different reason. In the dim light filtering through the blinds, she could make out the defined muscles of his torso—a testament to years of military training. She had always thought him lean, but now she could see the strength hidden beneath his clothes.
As he leaned down over her again, his skin radiating warmth, her heart raced.
Georgiana felt breathless, nervous yet filled with anticipation. Her inexperience left her uncertain, her movements awkward as she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him deeply. She tasted the mint of his toothpaste, felt the slight roughness of his day's stubble against her chin.
Her innocent enthusiasm ignited something primal in Michael. His body trembled with restraint, the memory of her bare skin from the night before flashing through his mind.
Hesitantly, his hand found its way beneath her pajama top again, his touch feather-light as it explored new territory.
A soft, involuntary sound escaped Georgiana's lips. Her entire body tensed, her back arching slightly against his touch.
Michael's breathing grew ragged to match her own.
Even in the darkness, the flush on their faces was evident as they avoided each other's gaze, suddenly shy despite their intimacy.
His hands—those skilled fingers that could disarm the most complex explosive devices with precision—now moved across her skin with equal expertise. Every touch sent electric currents through her body, building a sensation she had never experienced before.
Georgiana gasped for breath, writhing beneath his touch like a fish out of water. The sensations became overwhelming, drawing a whimper from her lips.
"Michael..." she breathed, her voice barely audible.
The sound of his name in that vulnerable tone made him freeze momentarily. He couldn't control the stirring in his heart. He leaned down to press his lips against her flushed cheek, tasting the salt of perspiration on her skin.
Georgiana lay beneath him, her chest rising and falling with labored breaths.
Michael cupped her face in his hands, his voice dropping to a husky whisper.
"Georgiana," he said, her name a reverent prayer on his lips.
"Hmm?" she responded with a gentle hum, the sound soft and vulnerable in the darkness.
His face hovered above hers, features clean and handsome even in shadow, his eyes pools of midnight intensity. "I want you," he whispered.
Georgiana's heart fluttered wildly in her chest.
She swallowed hard before whispering back, "Okay."
Their bodies came together in the darkness. Georgiana felt a brief moment of pain that quickly transformed into something else entirely—a pleasure so intense it bordered on overwhelming.
She clung to him, her anchor in this storm of lovemaking.
The room filled with the sounds of their mingled breaths and whispered endearments. Georgiana felt herself fracturing and reforming all at once, as if her very being was merging with his in some fundamental, irreversible way.
As unfamiliar pleasure built within her, Georgiana wrapped her arms tightly around Michael's neck. Her soft gasps filled the entire space under the covers as her eyes fluttered closed, surrendering completely to the moment.
That night, Georgiana felt as though she was floating somewhere between dreams and reality. The heat of Michael's body was her only tether to the physical world, a constant reminder that this was real—that she was truly in his arms.
They came together again and again, like waves crashing against the shore.
Georgiana experienced emotions she had felt before—joy, fulfillment, satisfaction so complete it left her dizzy!
She felt like she was riding a roller coaster, soaring to dizzying heights before plummeting back to earth. The intensity was almost too much to bear, yet she craved more with each passing moment.
When exhaustion finally claimed them, Georgiana collapsed against the mattress. Every muscle in her body felt wonderfully spent, too weak even to roll over.
Her consciousness began to fade, sleep pulling her under its gentle wave.
As she drifted off, she felt Michael's arms encircle her, drawing her against the safe harbor of his chest.
For perhaps the first time in her life, Georgiana fell into a deep, contented sleep, nestled securely in the embrace of the man she loved.
