Edward pov .
I was having an important meeting when one of my trusted guards walked in to deliver a message to me .
He brought out a piece of paper and secretly handed it to me , I got up to excuse myself , I Quickly left the hall to read the letter , Immediately I opened it and saw the content of the letter I began to boil in anger ,I asked one of my guard standing at the entrance to get my carriage ready that we would be heading back to the city .
I went back into the hall to announce my departure .I was about to leave when on of the dukes stopped me .
" My Lord I don't think it's wise of you to leave this meeting we just started discuss on how to build a strong wall against our enemy ."
" Are you going to stop me from leaving "
" N..o no your majesty "
" Good "
I quickly rushed out of the building and when into my carriage .
Shortly after we arrived at the castle I got of the carriage , And was welcomed by samuel .
" Welcome back your majesty , Am glad you got my letter on time "
" Where is she ?"
He bow his head to the ground and then pointed towards the garden . without wasting another seconds, I walked straight to the garden , The first scene the welcomed me was something that got me mad I decided to play cool , But I was dying out of anger I kept thinking carefully the punishment that suits Benita for the humiliation she's giving tomy wife .
When I got closer to them I heard everything she was saying but didn't say a word .
"What did I miss why I was away "
When I said those words Benita turned to look at my direction immediately she saw me standing in front of her with both hands in my trouser pocket and a smile on my face , She instantly turned pale , She became restless , I could see her becoming tensed up ,.
" Today is indeed a beautiful day don't you think so lady valerie"
I turned to look at Val, Who was standing in front of Benita with her head bow and her eyes filled with tears ,I scanned her from head to toe , From what I saw it since she looks slimmer than when I left the castle ,I walked up to her and held her hand to see the level of burned she received from the spilled tea .
" I just left yesterday and you have become slimmer what happens to taking good care of your health "
" She raised up her head to look at me and immediately burst into tears "

Benita was tensed up she wanted to say something but I didn't give her a listen ear ,I held valerie hand and use my thumb to wipe the tear of her eyes .
" Don't worry darling.Am here for you now okay come on let's go inside so I can attend to your wound "
I noticed she couldn't walk properly ,so I picked her up and carefully carried her in a bridal style . When we got to the entrance of the castle samuel rushed up to me .
" My Lord you sent for me "
" Yes I did samuel I want you to listen carefully ,ask hemsworth to inform the guards stationed at the entrance of the castle to lock the gates No entrance, no exit ,Second inform the executioners they will be an execution tonight ,thirdly make sure the council are present in the castle I hope you understand me "

I handed my sword to him ,He stood there staring at me in surprise .

He bow his head and left ,I quickly carry val into her room and asked one of the maids assigned to her to go get the physician , In less than few minutes the physician arrived and started giving her treatment .
I sat close her , My fingers kept running through her soft hair , She kept crying , My heart was broken, I felt so devastated .
" Don't worry val everything will be fine ,I promise after day no one will trouble you again "
She murmur few words to my hearing .I turned to look at physician who was trying to pack up her bags .

She quickly left the room without saying a word ,I stood up and ran my slender fingers through my hair .
" Listen to me valerie I know it's all my fact I shouldn't have left you alone am sorry , Thank God samuel sent me a letter on time to inform me about what's happening in castle , That's why am here am sorry "

I didn't reply her I just listened to her why she spoke her heart the next question I asked took her by surprise .
