He kept pleasing for mercy , But it was already too late. suddenly I heard a loud scream and that was the end of Sir Eliot .
I left the court room and walked straight to the visitors room immediately I opened the door, An arrow was shut at me but I was fast enough to hold it with my hand ..
" I see you still have a fast reflex brother "
" Why are you here "
" Oh don't be too hard on yourself brother ,I came to see you "
" Alexander the last time you came to visit this palace something terrible happened and today you shot an arrow at me "
" I was just tasting my shooting skills to see if am getting better or not "

" Anyways I came to see how your taking good care of my throne "

Immediately he called me by my name I clenched my fist so hard that the glass cup broken into pieces ,I stood up and walked up to him with both my hands in my side pocket .

He was about to say something when he immediately swallowed his words .
" Anyways say what so ever you want to say it's none of my business , Just know that you are only a caretaker and when the right time comes you will leave the throne for me "

He walked out of the visitors room and immediately left the castle ,I stood there staring at his disappearing figure when Samuel walked up to me .
" Your majesty what are we going to do to him "
" Let him be, Samuel when the time comes I will decide his punishment ".
I stood up and left ,I was about going back to my chambers to attend to something important when I heard noises from the other side of the castle so I sent Samuel to find out what happened .
In less than few minutes he came back with a report .
" Why are there so much noise there "
" Your majesty am sorry to say this , But I think the maid I saw you talking with the other day has been badly injured "

Immediately Samuel give me the News,I felt my heart aching badly ,I couldn't understand this feeling but I don't think it's a good one .
" Where is she right now "
" Your majesty she has been lying unconscious on the ground "
" Quickly ask the guards to take her to the castles physician , Make sure she get the best of the best treatment. Then find out what really happened that lead to her injury .

Samuel quickly appointed some guards and in less than three seconds the place became calm ,I went back to my chambers but I was feeling so restless . I couldn't do anything ,I kept walking to and fro for about two hours .Samuel walked into my chambers .

" Not so good My king ,From the information we gathered I think the person who inflicted that injury on her is your future wife Lady Benita . According to the information one of the eye witness give , Was that Miss Valerie left the kitchen and was running towards the entrance of the castle when she mistakenly bumped into lady Benita , Even after her plead with Lady Benita asked the guards to give her twenty strokes of whip that was how she ended up with so much bruises on her body "
When Samuel finished explaining everything to me, I felt so devastated ,I quickly asked one of the guards to get Benita for me and the guards who flogged Valerie in less than few minutes they arrived .

She turned to the guard that was standing beside her .

He was about to leave when i picked up my pocket knife and aimed at his left before he could get to the door he felt an unbearable pain he lost his balance and fell to the ground holding his leg screaming in pain .
When Benita saw what happened she let out a scream .
" Edward what have you done ,oh my God ,Do you have to punish everybody around you "
" I think that question should be directed to you "
