Chapter 111 Mischievous Daughter's
Shivi nods seriously, then suddenly blows him a flying kiss before scampering off on her tiny feet. Karan watches her run away, smiling to himself. After so many years, today his face carries a real smile.
Shivi runs off on her tiny feet, giggling as the sound of her laughter echoes through the hall like the soft chime of anklets. The whole floor suddenly feels brighter, filled with her innocent mischief.
Just then, the manager quickly catches her in his arms and scolds her gently, “Shivi baby, your mumma has been looking for you for so long. She’s so worried! You ran away again? Naughty girl!”
But little Shivi is stubborn. Instead of behaving, she bursts out laughing, her tinkling giggle making it seem like even being scolded is just another game to her.
The manager, still holding her, walks into the medicine packaging lab. The lab is spotless gleaming white tables, the soft hum of machines, and workers completely immersed in their tasks. Shivi’s big brown eyes dart around curiously, trying to take everything in.
And then, her gaze lands on a girl standing nearby.
The girl has a sharp, striking personality. She wears a black suit with trousers, topped with a pristine white coat. Her face is stern, her expression cold, and her eyes are fixed directly on Shivi, filled with irritation.
Shivi looks at her for a moment, then taps her tiny round belly with her small fingers and, in her sweet toddler voice, says, “Fu…ll…”
Before the manager can say anything, the girl snaps in a harsh tone, “Mannerless little girl! Doesn’t your Mummaa feed you? Every day you go around eating here and there. You keep troubling everyone wherever you go!”
Shivi tilts her head, her big cheeks puffing up as she nods innocently, yes.
The girl’s glare grows sharper, her face hard with annoyance and strictness. The manager quickly tries to calm things down, “Come on, let it be. She’s just a child. Kids are like this at this age.”
But the girl shoots back with a frown, her eyes narrowing, “No sir, you don’t know how much trouble she causes. Not just here, but at home too. She never stops her mischief. Always giving someone or the other a headache.”
At that moment, another young woman enters. With a warm smile, she takes Shivi into her arms, cradling her gently. Pinching Shivi’s soft chubby cheeks, she says, “Oh come on, she’s just a little kid. So adorable! If she doesn’t make mischief, then what else will she do?”
As soon as Shivi feels that gentle, loving touch, she breaks into peals of laughter, her innocent giggles lighting up the room. The heavy atmosphere instantly melts into warmth.
But still, the first girl stands there, her eyes locked on Shivi, glaring as if she refuses to let herself be swayed by the child’s sweetness.
As soon as Samar Rajput enters his mansion, before he can even properly step inside, someone clings tightly to his legs.
Startled, Samar looks down and there she is, a tiny little fairy, baby Pihu, wrapping her small hands around his legs and gazing up at him with wide, innocent eyes.
In her sweet, lisping voice she says, “Up… up…”
Samar is shocked for a moment. He never imagines that the first thing he encounters inside the mansion is such a little doll. But Pihu is so irresistibly cute that without a second thought, he scoops her up in his arms.
Just then, another innocent voice calls out, “Chachu…!”
Viransh runs toward him. A soft smile appears on Samar’s lips. He has never properly met Viransh before, only once when Mrs. Shobha calls him at the office.
But today, for the first time, they face each other. Samar quickly lifts Viransh into his arms too. The boy hugs him tightly and says excitedly, “Chachu, I want to meet Ayansh. Where is he?”
Samar gently pats his head and replies, “Son, he’s at Vikram’s house. You just get ready, then we’ll go.”
Viransh nods eagerly. At that moment, a firm voice calls out, “So, you’re here, young man?”
In the living hall, Mr. Ajay sits in his kurta pajama, reading the newspaper. Seeing him, Samar immediately stands straight with respect.
Meanwhile, Vihan walks out holding Pihu’s milk bottle, and Mrs. Shobha comes out from the kitchen. Viransh quickly runs and climbs into Mrs. Shobha’s lap.
Vihan looks at Samar and says affectionately, “Give her to me. I’ll feed her.”
Samar, still confused, asks, “This… this little one, who is she?”
Mrs. Shobha gently takes Samar’s hand and says, “Sit here beside me, I’ll explain everything.”
Samar sits down, as does Vihan, and Mrs. Shobha begins to tell him everything in detail.
Meanwhile, restless little Pihu, who doesn’t even know the meaning of calm, tugs at Mr. Ajay’s newspaper while drinking from her bottle.
For a moment, it seems as though she is about to start a full-blown tussle with him. But instead of getting annoyed, Mr. Ajay plays along like a child, happily indulging her.
Samar quickly takes Pihu into his lap and showers her chubby cheeks with a rain of kisses. But Pihu doesn’t like it one bit. With her tiny hands, she slaps Samar on the face.
Vihan immediately scolds, “Pihu…!!”
But Pihu pouts, points at Samar with her little finger, and in her baby voice complains, “Kis…si…”
Hearing her innocent complaint, Samar bursts out laughing. At that moment, Rimjhim enters the hall with a tray of tea. Seeing Pihu’s mischief, she softly says, “Pihu, say sorry.”
Pihu looks at Samar, then makes a grumpy face and shakes her head, “No.”
Rimjhim places the tea on the table, then a little more firmly says, “Pihu, say sorry.”
Again, Pihu stubbornly shakes her head. That is the limit for Rimjhim. Half in affection, half in anger, she lightly slaps Pihu on the cheek. It isn’t very hard, but for a little child, it is too much.
For a moment, the whole hall freezes. Samar’s heart shatters. He immediately pulls Pihu tightly into his arms. Her big eyes well up with tears, and she begins looking around at everyone, as if about to complain.
Mr. Ajay sternly tells Rimjhim, “Child, you must never raise a hand on little ones.”
Mrs. Shobha adds gently, “Rimjhim, please be careful in the future. Children are always innocent.”
Vihan softly strokes Pihu’s cheek and says angrily, “If you ever hit my princess again, I’ll send you straight to Xem.”
Samar’s reaction is even stronger. Hugging Pihu tightly, he says with emotion, “No one will ever raise a hand on my cute little doll again.”
Rimjhim stands there stunned. She looks around at everyone, then at Pihu, who glares back at her, baring her tiny teeth as if to “scold” her.
Viransh is equally surprised, staring at his dramatic little sister with a mix of shock and amusement.
In her mind, Rimjhim mutters, “Father and daughter, both drama kings!”
Just then, the mansion’s front door opens, and Karan rushes in. The moment he sees Pihu and Viransh, he drops to his knees and cheerfully says, “Hey champs…!”
