209. Peace and love

I pace back and forth on the floor of our room creating a noise that everyone could here around me while I look at the door, we keep it open so that I could hear what they were talking about in the office down the hall. Maleficus looks at me with a reassuring gaze, while my mother seat still on the couch beside him.

"Your majesty, I think this will be over soon. Don't worry about Alpha King Vincent, he is capable of concealing his temper in order not to hurt those humans."

I shook my head and watch the door again. "I wanted to be with the meeting but they won't allow me to."

My mother smiled at me. "Sweetheart, just let the men do the talking for now. There is a peace treaty that needs to be followed but lately, the rules have been broken by so many humans in the city so maybe they have to make a new set of rules that will be applied to all."

I nodded my head. Unlike me, my mother understood the legal process better. 

"They were talking for quite a long time. I want your friends to be released from our prison mom, they don't deserve to be here. However, my husband, the Alpha King insists on keeping them around."

Maleficus shook his head. "Let the Alpha King decide on this matter, your majesty. You are so kind for giving them your forgiveness that easily but it would be better for them to follow Alpha King Vincent."

I nodded my head and sat on the couch. I should trust my husband but I feel sorry for those old women and my mother because I know deep inside that she wanted to forgive them too. They were her friends, it was just a sad fact that their husbands are on the wrong side of tracks.

Beta Derek and Alpha King Vincent are the ones talking to the head of the human's special forces. They were asking for forgiveness and to let the two old women be taken to jail which is under them. Wolves in their custody are immediately sent here if they caught them.

"Mom, I'm sorry. I don't think Alpha King Vincent will release them."

My mother waves her hands to make me sit beside her on the couch.

"That won't matter sweetie. If this means we could achieve peace by making them stay here then let it be. I can never blame Alpha King Vincent for having hatred toward them. They hurt you, and that is something that they can just let go of so easily."

I walk slowly and sit beside her, resting my head on her shoulders.

"His temper is making the humans submit too. I am proud of him for keeping the peace mom but I want him to learn how to forgive."

My mother exhaled softly. "Maybe the Alpha King will understand it better after. Not now."

Maleficus stood up and look at me. "Your majesty, I think they will ask you to join them."

I look at him before I heard my Alpha King speak beside my ear in the mind link.

"Come to the office love. They need to speak to you about something."

He sounded calm, making me feel at ease before I stand up from the couch. "Alright, I am coming."

My mother squeezed my hand before I left. Both of them watch me as I took the step towards the door of the room to head for his office.

"Good Day everyone."

I look around at the guests as soon as I entered the office. Three men in uniform, one older than the others. They were all sitting around a long office table while my husband the Alpha King stood near the door and walk towards me.

"Sorry, you have to get involved with this sweetheart."

He bent his head down to kiss my lips. The heat warmed my cheeks I have to thank his broad back for covering me against the eyes of our visitors. I smiled and look up at him.

"It's alright, I am happy to do my part as the Luna of the Royal pack and as your Queen."

Fondness crossed his eyes before he lead me towards an empty seat beside Beta Derek. "Good day your majesty."

He bows his head towards me and I returned the greeting with a brief nod. Alpha King Vincent sit beside me and use his hand to gesture for our visitor's introduction. "Sweetheart, this is Gen. Edward Park. He is Mrs. Park's brother-in-law and these two are lieutenant Reyes and lieutenant Jackson. Both the latter smiled and bowed at me except for the older man named Edward Park.

"Hello your majesty, thank you for letting us into the beautiful Palace."

Lieutenant Jackson, smiled at me while greeting me. I look at him and nodded. "You are welcome, lieutenant."

Then Alpha King Vincent cleared his throat after the brief introduction. General Edward Park lowered his head to the table while Alph King Vincent made an honest comment.

"As you all know that my Luna is the one hurt by the recent incident. If I did not respect our peace treaty, I would have killed the traitors without hesitation. They have invaded my home while the wolves bestowed them the trust that they will behave like normal human beings."

He squeezed my hand under the table, I know that he is still mad and at any moment he will explode if these men will not act accordingly.

"I am sorry your majesty, I will personally apologize over and over again. My family was lured by the rogues without my knowledge. I swear that my sister-in-law is not at all a harmful human being."

Alpha King Vincent shook his head and smirked. "If we all settled for an apology then the wolves of my pack just all died out of nothing. You know what I want General."

Then the old man look at me with eyes full of regret, begging me before he spoke. "Your majesty I beg of you to forgive my sister-in-law. I swear to God that she will pay for her crimes but let her be with the normal people in jail. Our jail in the station."

I look at my husband beside me, Alpha King Vincent is not making any efforts to stop me from deciding if I have to forgive them or not.

"General, if your purpose of coming is to ask for my forgiveness on what happened then I am forgiving her."

A moment of silence passed and the hand of Alpha King Vincent who holds mine froze. Beta Derek turned toward me while I can see the shock in his eyes. General Edward Park looks at me with a smile on his face. However, I am not even finished talking.

"I can forgive Mrs. Park and her friend for their failed attempt of poisoning me. But it is up to my husband the Alpha King if he chooses to retain them here or let them walk out with you."

Now the mood changes as the two lieutenants look at their General for his decision. They know now that they will not get a chance to bring back those two women.

"Your majesty?"

He wanted to say something else but Alpha King Vincent did not let him finish.

"I'm afraid this meeting has just come to conclusion gentlemen, this has been taking most of our precious time here in the Palace. We are working creatures here, our every minute counts."

The General keep his mouth shut and stand up followed by the two lieutenants. Then Beta Dere stands up as well. "I will show you to the gates General, the warriors of the Royal pack are not all aware of your presence as his Majesty's guests and who knows what they would do if they knew you are related to the prisoner of the Palace."

Their feet halted and they all waited for Beta Derek as he took his time in slowly getting up from his seat and then following them. I watch the door close after Beta Derek who leaves us with an amused gaze.

"Finally. I have been waiting for them to leave so we can be alone together love."

He pulled me towards him, making me sit on his lap while he began kissing my neck. I feel the tingling sensation running down my spine when I felt his warm lip.

"And I missed you so much already I wanted them to all leave quickly."

I turned around and face him while wrapping my legs tightly around his waist. We are alone in his office, I am sure the Beta Derek would no longer come back to see what we are up to.

"Hmmm I love your scent, I could never get enough."

He murmured in ragged breathing, his lips gently kissing my neck and my jaw before finally capturing my lips. Our kisses provided the strong bond that we have for each other, I gave him my promise that I will stand by his side as his Luna Queen to love and support him in every decision he makes.

"Thank you for being here my love, I love you so much with all my life."

I smiled hearing the familiar words that he always says during our lovemaking. "And I love you too, my Alpha King, always and forever."
