Chapter 18: No Guilt

Chapter 18: No Guilt
Capri melted into the kiss like she had been waiting for the moment for years. They pulled apart for seconds, just enough to look into each other's gaze, as if trying to make sure it was actually happening. One second, they were catching their breath and the next, they moved at the same time, the kiss reigniting with no warning. There was no gentleness in it.

Their mouths met with an urgency and a longing that hadn't faded in years, the tension between them easing. Chyler's hands gripped Capri's waist pulling her closer, skin to skin. Capri straddled her without hesitation, her wet hair clinging to her back. She tilted her head, letting Chyler take the lead, devour her slowly and hungrily.

Capri moaned softly into her mouth, her fingers threading through Chyler's hair. "God, you taste exactly how I remember," she murmured against her lips. "Divine, a temptation I want to fall into. God knows how hard it was for me to pull away from you the other night."

Chyler leaned back, heat and blood rushing to her head and ears. "This is not a good idea," she whispered, her voice croaking. "There is no one to stop us here."

Capri pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. Her expression was raw and unguarded, a contrast to what Chyler knew from all those years ago when they had kissed. "Don't do that," she shook her head. "Don't build walls while I'm trying to tear mine down."

Chyler swallowed hard, having difficulty breathing. "I just... don't want this to be another one of our mistakes, Capri."

She cupped her face with both hands. "Then don't treat it like one." She pressed her forehead against hers. Their breaths mingled, charged with both tension and desire. "I don't feel guilty about this," she went on, her voice low. "I don't feel guilty for wanting you and for needing this. You shouldn't either."

"That's just it," Chyler whispered, pressing her eyes shut like she could lock the words out. They however came tumbling out, exposing her truth, exposing the one thing she had been trying to hide. "I don't feel guilt, Capri," she confessed, now her eyes open, revealing every deepness she felt. "I want this... but I don't know what exactly it is."

"Do we have to know everything yet?" Capri asked. "We know this is real, we know we both want it. Just let it be."

That was all it took. Chyler kissed her again deeper and slower. The kiss didn't leave any room for doubt. Capri's hands roamed her shoulders, down her ribs, along her back as if memorizing her, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. How they got to the edge of the pool, neither of them could explain. Or how they got inside the house. It all happened in a blur and before she senses could kick in, Chyler had her pressed down on some cushions, her body pressed on hers curve to curve. They moved in sync, lips and hands communicating deeper than anything words could say.

Capri's fingers tugged at the hem of Chyler's sports bra, her eyes asking for permission. Chyler nodded once and raised her arms. The fabric peeled away, leaving her bare to Capri's gaze which softened instantly. She didn't gawk or smirk. She just stared at her with a rawness that hinted at watching something rare and sacred.

"You are beautiful," she breathed, brushing her thumb over Chyler's collarbone.

Chyler laughed softly, trying to deflect the sudden blush that swept over her face. "I could say more about you," she said, eyes hovering over Capri's curves, from her perfect cups to her hips, and the navel piercing. "You are glorious," she added, her voice dripping with desire.

"Are you going to do something about it?" Capri wiggled her brows.

"Everything," Chyler declared and leaned down. Their lips collided again, melting into something that came from years of unspoken want. Her hands roamed Capri's body, tracing her curves with an ache she could only put off for so long. Every part of her was soft and responsive, all but the rock hard nipples on steady breasts that were calling to her. Still, she took her time.

Capri arched her back as Chyler kissed down her neck, along her collarbone and lower. The air between them was thick with anticipation and a faint scent of arousal, their breaths ragged, chests heaving. There was no rush and no noise but the rustle of sheets and quiet moans. Chyler moved with care like she was worshipping her every dip and curve, leaving her close to begging.

Chyler teased her nipples with her tongue, sucking, swirling around them, biting lightly... Capri's fingers gripped the cushions, her moans low and barely controlled. She wrapped her legs around Chyler's waist, holding her there like she never wanted to let go. And maybe she didn't.

Then Chyler went lower. She had waited for too long for this, even without knowing she was. And now, she wanted to make every second of it count. She explored her in between moans and soft gasps. Capri whimpered and whispered her name, rolling sweetly from her tongue. She dug her fingers into her back, deeper and deeper as she neared her final peak.

And just as she was about to, they flipped sides. Capri pressed Chyler down, easily balancing herself on top of her. Chyler didn't fight it. Capri flipped her hair to her side and rode her, hard and fast. Their moans blended, coloring the air around them. Neither of them spoke, not until the final peak rode through them both, crashing like a wave. Chyler groaned, her grip tightening into Capri's hips. They rode it together, breathless and tangled, shaking in the aftermath.

Minutes passed in silence. Chyler lay on her side, tracing idle patterns over Capri's bare back as they caught their breath. Then Capri turned, a bright smile on her face and lay her face on Chyler's chest.

"I didn't think I would ever have this with you," she confessed softly.

Chyler pressed a kiss on her temple. "Then don't let it go this time."

Capri didn't answer right away. Her hand found Chyler's and squeezed gently then drew closer. "Please stay," she whispered. "Not just for tonight?" It was more of a question and she looked up, just enough to see Chyler's face.

"I would love to," Chyler murmured. And she meant to. Whatever ghosts she had been chasing could be forgotten, if only for this moment. She could fight against everything else but not this. Just a piece of a connection she wished she never had to lose. Maybe a chance to reignite it once again. With no guilt.

She leaned in slowly, her eyes searching Capri's deep and far. Her thumb brushed along her face, feeling... taking in the touch. Capri blinked slowly, letting her. Until their lips touched. And once again, they were thrown into the world of oblivion where they knew each other most. And it was perfect.
