Ch. 63"Black Castle!"

Ch. 63"Black Castle!"
Hayes P.O.V.

After receiving that text, I made sure to get her, and I locked up our home. Yes, it's where we'll be living with the little one she's expecting in three months, and now it's coming soon.

When I received the text, I kept repeating in my mind what Dr. Whiteson had written to me.

"Sir Alpha, bring her here now! We need to check her. I talked to her parents; they knew they were bonded and mated. "Now, we know she will be expecting soon," he wrote.

I just wrote three words.

"Be right there," I wrote. Then, I put my phone away.

Now, I am holding Gracie's hand and taking her down the hill. I started taking out my keys and beeped them unlocked. So I walked to the other side of the truck, put her inside, shut the door, walked over to the other side, got in, put the car in drive, and took off out on the road toward the big castle at the pack hospital.

Fifteen minutes later...

We pulled up to a big black gate, and I knew where I was when I saw the big letter F-shaped in big black on the gate. So, I waited until the camera turned green, indicating I was ready to go inside.

When I heard the gate open, I drove through and saw two people standing outside the front door.

I looked and saw them both in white coats; one was a lady holding a notepad, and she began writing something down. It was something to give Gracie.

Oh, great; I wanted to roll my eyes, but I should not feel this way; I should be ready once I park the truck. So I turned off the engine. I got out and walked around the car, intending to open her door, but I was too late; the lady in a white coat was already there and had opened the door.

"Hello, Miss Harper, welcome to the Black Castle," she said, bowing her head. Gracie stared in confusion, remembering if she had ever come here. She did it when she was a baby because her mother had her at the same place when she was pregnant with her nineteen years ago.

"Hi," she said back, hesitating to move out of the truck because she didn't know me and still didn't trust me, so I was in the same boat as this lady in front of her.

The lady came closer, but I was right there to make sure she didn't try anything to hurt her and my child inside her womb.

The lady hesitated, and I gave her a nod, let her help Gracie out of the truck, and sat her in the wheelchair I hadn't seen until now. That's when I saw the doctor standing by the door, watching us, and the lady in white started rolling Gracie inside the building. I stopped and spoke to Dr. Whiteson.

"Once you go up, and we begin the procession, okay, and see how long she is?" he tells me. I nodded, and we both started walking inside, and that's when I saw...

Jade! My sister?

Jade and Bryan stood in the hallway while my sister hugged him, and I saw her crying. I saw red when I saw my sister's red eyes. I didn't care. I ran over there and didn't wait; I tackled and attacked. I threw my fist back, and it happened so fast that I hit my best friend in the face.

I didn't know, but I heard screaming, and I knew it was my sister, but I knew I should be with my mate, but right now I saw my sister here, and crying.

"Please stop it, Hayes; it's not what you think. "He didn't hurt me," I heard Jade say, but I wasn't listening to her. So I just kept hitting and punching my best friend in the face and the stomach, anywhere I could think of hurting him.

"No! "Stop hitting the father of my babies!" Jade yelled out, and that's when I stopped. I was breathing heavily because of how angry I was and pissed off when I saw my sister upset, but I didn't think that maybe there were happy tears.

Oh, no, I knew I shouldn't have hit Bryan.

Oh, I said, and I stopped, looking down to see dark red blood and marks. But we were werewolves, so he healed fast — about a couple of seconds later. One, two, three, and yep, he was good as new. So I got off of him, and I helped him to his feet. I dusted him off, and I felt so awful hitting my friend and my beta; I guess he is mated with my sister; that explains how she acted around him for the last couple of months.

How did I not know about them? And how long were they together, and what did my sister say when my face turned pale?

Did she say the father of her...

Babies! My face dropped with surprise and shock.

I am going to be a father and an uncle at the same time. Whoa, this is heavy. I need to...
Oh, no! Father, I need to get back to Gracie.

I need to go, but we will talk later. I've told them that I hope Bryan and Jade forgive me for the scene I caused in front of the people here.

They knew I wanted answers, but first, I had to keep my mind occupied with their problems and pay attention to my mate. So, that's what I am going to do. So, I started walking down the hallway and found the door marked Dr. Whiteson.

So, I pulled it open, and I saw him, the lady in the white coat, and Gracie. She lay on the table, her face etched with a mix of fear and confusion, as she stared at the black computer screen. There, in the darkness, she saw two small, glowing objects, but then the screen lit up, displaying her name in the top right corner, accompanied by the sound of heartbeats.

Shit! I knew I should have never left her side.

So, I knew it was time to tell her she was pregnant, and she would be having my...

Babies,

"Well, Congratulations, Miss. Harper, you are having a boy and a girl; you're pregnant with twins!" I hope you and Alpha Fords are happy and proud of your new babies or pups coming soon." Dr. Whiteson said.
I knew she was trying to be happy, but I could see the look of fear on her face. I knew I had messed up by not telling her sooner, but now the cat was out of the bag! She knows now.

"How could this be? I heard her ask with concern, her voice shaking.

"Well, Miss Harper, when someone likes you and me," he said, trying to point out that we are werewolves and were different from regular human beings. He kept speaking.

"So, when you mate with your special someone, the moon goddess assigned to, yeah," Well, you mate, and you go in heat until he impregnates you, then three months later, you pop out your babies or pups you prefer to call them." Dr. Whiteson says with a smile on his face.

I am trying to think and not smile, but I'm there for Gracie, my mate, at the same time. I'm too excited to feel bad about not telling her.

I have a son and a daughter; wow, I can't believe it. I am going to be a father! Then I thought about how everyone would say, "I hope they are happy for us," but I don't care if they're not.

The only important thing is that Gracie and my pups are happy, healthy, and safe. I will protect my mate and pups with my last dying breath.

But I didn't know someone was coming, and I didn't hear anything behind us because I was still lost in my happy dream, having wonderful thoughts and protective ones at the same time. So, I wasn't paying attention when I heard a gasp, and I knew who was behind us. So, that's when I turned around, and I saw, before I could speak,

"Father and Mother, how do you know I was here"? Gracie said, nervous and confused.
