Chapter 47: Bathing in Fabian's Bathroom

Chapter 47: Bathing in Fabian's Bathroom
Sophia's Perspective
Our argument ended with Fabian's apology.
He held my thigh firmly in his palm, using tweezers to hold a cotton ball soaked in medicinal solution to treat my wound.
The wound wasn't deep, but the area was quite large. At first glance, it looked somewhat shocking, and it would probably take another half month to heal.
Recently, I've been getting injured one after another, and misfortune seems to constantly surround me.
If it weren't for the Ellis brothers taking care of me repeatedly, I would probably have difficulty recovering in a short time, and the relationship between us has become increasingly complex.
Fabian wrapped my wound with medical gauze. His technique was skillful and precise, cleverly avoiding my painful areas.
I couldn't help but think that if he hadn't been obsessed with becoming a successful entrepreneur, he would definitely have achieved great things in the medical field.
When I thought the healing process was almost over, Fabian's hand didn't leave my exposed thigh.
He stared at my wound, his large palm slowly pressing against it, until it was directly against the injured area on my thigh without any barrier.
My whole body tensed up, and I almost screamed.
"Fabian, what are you doing?!"
His action was too intimate. My skin became uncontrollably hot under his palm, and my heart began to beat violently.
He glanced at me, using his eyes to signal me to be quiet, while also calming my emotions.
This process was too magical. The injured area in the center of my thigh gradually began to heat up, and the pain gradually decreased.
I suddenly widened my eyes and looked at Fabian in shock, "Your werewolf has healing abilities?! This is amazing, Fabian."
I excitedly grabbed his arm. He looked at my hand but didn't disgustedly push me away. Instead, he continued to heal me.
Werewolves naturally have self-healing abilities, agility, and powerful strength. This is the Moon Goddess's gift to the wolf pack.
But werewolves with the ability to heal companions are very rare. I've only seen them in ancient texts.
Without a doubt, Fabian is the lucky one favored by the Moon Goddess. He's capable of everything, simply a hero!
A few minutes later, he stopped what he was doing and explained to me expressionlessly, "There's nothing to be surprised about. I inherited this ability from my mother."
He's always accustomed to remaining calm regardless of honor or disgrace. I rarely see him show happiness in front of me.
I agreed, "Your mother is the Luna of the wolf pack. She must be a great woman."
The Ellis brothers must all love their mother dearly. Every time they mention her, the expression on their faces is always so gentle.
He didn't deny my praise of his mother but still reminded me, "Don't be too naive, Sophia. We rarely show our abilities in front of others. When an ability becomes scarce, it doesn't necessarily represent good things, it could also be misfortune."
I lowered my head, pouted, and said nothing more.
Fabian no longer considered me the only outsider in this apartment. This realization made the temperature on my face rise higher and higher, almost burning.
"I think I should return to my own room," I quietly reminded Fabian.
This room had a terrible magic that always made my mind wander.
I lowered my head and smelled my clothes. It was the smell of mud mixed with sweat. I had rolled on the ground several times, and my clothes and pants were thoroughly dirty.
I needed to leave here quickly before Fabian could react.
He saw through my thoughts at a glance, "You can't bathe in your current condition, Sophia."
Oh no... his words were too cruel.
I frowned and pleaded with him, "But I'm smelly all over now, and it's terribly uncomfortable."
He thought for a while and answered, "Either endure it, or stay here."
"What?!" My brain had some difficulty understanding his profound words.
He sighed and rubbed his temples, "My bathroom has a bathtub. That's the only place where you can bathe."
My brain suddenly went blank, in a state of shutdown.
Was he inviting me to bathe in his bathroom?! My heartbeat was so fast it was about to jump out of my throat.
"But I need clean clothes..." I hesitated.
"There are clean bathrobes in the bathroom," he refuted.
Before I could react, Fabian had already carried me into the bathroom.
His bathroom was several times larger than mine, incredibly spacious, with a white large bathtub in the center. He didn't give me a chance to hesitate and turned around to leave the bathroom.
My brain was a complete mess, but he was right - I only had this one choice.
I gritted my teeth, raised my hands to take off my clothes, and carefully lay in the bathtub, with one leg hanging outside to prevent the wound from touching the water.
I didn't dare stay in the bathroom too long because Fabian was still outside.
So I simply cleaned the mud off my body, got up, and wrapped myself in a bath towel.
But... should I go out to see Fabian like this? I was completely naked under the bath towel.
My pants had been torn by Fabian, and my clothes were also covered in dirt, there was no way to wear them again.
I walked barefoot on the smooth tiles. Because I was distracted, the moment I stepped out, my body shook violently as my foot slipped.
Everything was too late. I could only quickly adjust to a position that wouldn't compress my wound before falling.
"Bang!!!"
Then, my bottom hit the tiles heavily.
Before I could moan, the bathroom door was pushed open, and Fabian burst in.
"Sophia, what exactly are you doing?!" Fabian's emotions suddenly became irritable.
I rubbed my bottom, looking somewhat aggrieved, "I didn't do anything, just accidentally... fell."
I looked up at him and found his gaze had become unusually deep, as if he wanted to see right through me.
It wasn't until I looked down at myself that I almost screamed.
Because of the fall, the loose bath towel had slipped off my body. My legs were awkwardly spread apart, facing Fabian directly. From his angle, he could see my... everything.
Everything was exposed.
"Fuck!" I cursed in horror, grabbing the towel.
Fabian walked straight toward me, bent down, wrapped the towel around me, and carried me out.
This was an unprecedented embarrassing accident. I wished I could disappear from this world immediately.
After Fabian placed me on the sofa, he immediately stood up, turned sideways, and his back slightly curved.
He was breathing heavily, as if suppressing his emotions or reactions.
"Could you be any more clumsy?! Sophia."
