AUDREY POV

I finally got back to my room. The maids were busy dressing my bed and dusting my things on the table and they bowed once they saw me.

“My princess, do you need us to do anything for you?” Lily my personal maid said as I wiped my tears and shook my head.

“No, just leave me, I want to be alone. Everyone out this instant.” I shouted as they all carried their things and left scurrying away. They closed the door as they left as I fell on my bed and sobbed. I cried till I got a headache, I cried till I was numb. Was this how my life was going to be? Being treated like an outcast and then forced into a marriage I don’t want to be in. I was super sad.

I didn’t even know when I fell asleep, but my dream still remained the same. I could still have dreams about that man in the cave., He was calling me, telling me that he needs me. I was scared because he wasn’t human and he had hurt me once, but there was something in me, that craved him, his touches, I wanted to know how it would feel like to have him kiss me, down from my neck to my breast. To have his hot breath on my neck. This was the classical example of a fantasy. Just like Beauty and the Beast. If Belle could tame her beast, then I could do mine also. I just wanted to feel passion, arousal and love. Liam didn’t care about that, he was only marrying me because he was forced to do so.

The dreams were like tortures because it felt so real, and deep down in my head, a voice was whispering the word Mate. I had no idea what that meant, but the excitement that surged through me was greater than the fear. It made me want to go back there, to the cave even though I know I might die this time around. It was far still better than living the life of a caged prisoner behind the walls.

And just when he was about to bit me in the dream, I gasped and woke up from my sleep. I looked at the window and saw that it was already late. I must have missed dinner already. I could still feel the sensations coursing through my body. My nipples were firm, and erect,n waiting to be teased. My undies were pooled with my orgasm. I checked my neck and saw traces of marks on it. Was this real? But everywhere was still locked. There was no way I would have been taken advantage of. Besides I was in the cave back in the dream, so it was just a dream.

I stood up groggily and went ahead to have my bath. I was hoping that a bath would calm me down and put my head in the right order. After twenty minutes of washing myself, I rinsed my body and stepped out of the tub and tied a towel. I then got dressed in a night robe and knotted it well before laying down on my bed. I didn’t feel like eating anything tonight. I remembered the fact that I was going to get married to a guy I didn’t even like and I started crying once more.

“Why are you looking so downcast? Did you miss me that much?” A familiar voice said as I sat up and cleared my teary face. I couldn’t believe it was Myst. I wanted to jump and hug him then I realized that I was a princess and I should have self restraint. Also I may have a feeling he wouldn’t like that one bit.

“Oh my God, where have you been? You left me all alone back there in the woods. Where did you go to? Are you safe?” I asked all this questions in a hurry as he smiled and nodded his head.

“Yes I am fine. I have always been around but you didn’t need me so I didn’t appear. Have you forgotten I always come to you when you are desperate and in times of need.” Myst said as I got very angry with him.

Desperate and in time of need? Are you being serious right now? Do you know how many times I have been in need? You didn’t come to help me when I was being attacked by a vicious man in a cave and you are helping me now because I am crying? Is crying the secret code? So if I need you, I should just cry? Do you see how insane that sounds? I can’t believe I needed you in the first place.” I said raising my voice for the first time.

There was a knock on my door and I quickly stood up.

“Hide.” I mouthed as the door opened and my maid peeked in and said,

“Is everything all right your highness? I heard you shouting.” She said as I rolled my eyes and replied,

“Everything is perfectly fine. Now leave me alone and don’t come back.” I said as she bowed her head and closed the door.

I turned to face Myst who looked impressed and said,

“Wow, you are really not the same sad, pathetic princess, I knew the first time. Now this is much more like you.” He added as I crossed my hand and said,

“This isn’t the end for it. Now tell me why you are here?” I asked as he sat down on my bed and said,

“Isn’t it obvious. You want to leave the palace right? I can help with that. Or have you forgotten?” He said as I thought about it.

“Will you leave me hanging once more?” I asked as he shook his head.

“Nah, I am going to be with you every step of the way. You need to breath some fresh air. You are all choked up in duties and responsibilities that you stink.” He said winking at me and I had no choice but to laugh.
