Cambridge

Cambridge
I marched into the packhouse and told David about my interaction with his uncle. I had never seen David so furious, several other people had to block him from tearing his uncle apart. David's father was deeply troubled by my words. He had a tough time believing the news I was sharing. He could not deny the truth of my words, he just had a tough time accepting that his own brother was trying to usurp him.

David had officially decided to keep me away from him. He moved us at once to Cambridge University dorms. I was so excited to finally start my college life at Cambridge with my love by my side.

These last several months have been incredible. I have lived through more in my life and this past summer than any normal person has ever endured. I got to grow up with a fantastic stepfather, I got to graduate from secondary school. I got to finally meet my family. I got my dream of meeting my real father, I endured the pain and loss that was the death of my mother. I really feel like I am ready for this next phase of my life.

Today I heard from Hunter who is planning to be there for me during the first few weeks of my college life. I am so excited and nervous thinking about next weekend. My birthday is only a week away. Every day I feel more connected with my wolf, I feel more connected to whatever magical power lies within me. I feel the woman in my mind whisper to me but, the more my birthday draws near the more it is like a distant echo. Whoever she is, I feel like she is slipping away from me. At least I hope, I pray that what my mother told me in that dream is not real, that it does not come true. I do not want to lose myself to an ancient evil witch who is trying to possess my body.

The trip to Cambridge felt so long. I lost track of the hours we drove until I eventually fell asleep. I felt David's hot breath and sweet lips touch my forehead. He whispered sweet words into my ear and informed me that we had arrived. My eyes shot open, and I looked out the window of the car in excitement. Everything was so beautiful. The university looked like a glorious cathedral. We exited the car and I continued to marvel at the site of the ancient university.

I felt myself jumping up and down with glee. I was very startled and overjoyed to walk into the school and find Hunter waiting for me. I rushed into his arms and gripped him so tight. I have not seen him in several weeks. Along with Hunter was my aunt Matilda and her husband who I learned was the pack Gamma uncle, Lazarus. They all embraced me and greeted David. I felt like my family and my heart was finally whole.

The greatest gift was Hunter showing me a tenement which he had bought for me as a present for starting university. I was so thrilled I gave him a giant hug again. He angered me however by assuming that I would be living there with female dormmates. I was not about to tell him I planned to live there with David. I will let him believe what he wants.

I was just so excited to start my first semester of school.
I was so comfortable in my tenement. Hunter went all out, he bought me a king size bed, brand new furniture! He really splurged on me. He has done this before, and I do not think I will ever get used to it. I laid stretched out on the bed; I did not want to move; however, I know I will have to get dressed and greet the day.

I head to my first class “ethnography of speaking” this class is all about communication and learning how to speak properly.
I greet the teacher informing “Mr. Knowles” who I am, and I take my seat. I learn this class is a more advanced class. Due to my high scholarly marks from my secondary school, and stellar recommendations from my earlier professors, I was awarded the opportunity to take some advanced placement classes. These scores were based on my high marks and stellar performance on the debate team, and the journalism club I was in. By the end of my schooling, I was the editor.

The class is filled with students, I am happy that I chose to sit in the back so no one can turn around and possibly stare at me. I keep my attention focused on the instructor and at times keep my head down to take my notes.

Out of the corner of my eye, I notice a very handsome young man constantly glancing at me. He looks about six foot three with red wavy hair and emerald, green eyes. He is wearing a black dress shirt with black jeans, and a burgundy-colored dress coat as if he belonged to a secret society.

I keep my eyes on myself and pay attention though it is difficult. This person is burning a gaze into the side of my head. The class finally ends, I am happy to try and make my escape. Everyone clears out of the room as I gather up my stuff. I hear the man walk past me, he chuckles quietly, and I feel him caress my arm as he walks past.

I at once sit up straight, and stare at him. He turns quickly, his eyes flash like green colored thunderbolts, he winks as I sit here stunned and he walks out of the room. As I move from my desk, I notice a note that has dropped. I secure it, hide it in my pocket.
