Chapter 58 - On the Fourth Night
I
On the fourth night, Gerthel has been awakened from her deep slumber when she felt someone lay beside her on the bed and tightly embraced her.
She opened her eyes hastily and was about to scream when she smelled the familiar scent. She froze with excitement.
"Dar, you are here now!" she said exclaiming with delight. She even hugged him with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Oh, how I missed you," she whispered.
Boss Dar, looked at her through the dimly lit room and kissed her passionately, which she accepted with warmness. "I missed you too, Baby," he whispered back while caressing her hair.
"What took you so long in coming back here?" she asked softly while still embracing him.
"It was a long story, but finally, I was able to settle it. Tomorrow, we will have a date. So for now, I will suppress my desire to make love with you," he said smiling and Gerthel giggled.
"I am disappointed," she said half joke and half-truth. Her body wanted him and Gerthel could not deny it.
"Hmm, tomorrow, we will spend the whole day with each other. Meantime, let us sleep. I will sleep here beside you, would it be fine with you?"
"Of course. Sleep beside me even every night, Dar," she said, and then she gave him a quick kiss on his lips.
"Alright, but don't kiss me again, I might totally forget how sleepy I am now," he whispered teasingly and Gerthel smiled wide as she nodded. They both fell to their sweet sleep just after a few minutes.
When Gerthel woke up the next day, the space beside her was already empty. She looked up at the wall clock hanging just in front of her bed to check the time, and then she gasped. "Ohh goodness, it is already seven o'clock in the morning!"
She immediately climbed down from her bed, showered, and after wearing a green dainty dress with raffles on its sleeves, body-hugging on top but flowing from the waist down a little below her knees, she got out of her room. She walked toward the dining area, guessing that Boss Dar might be there already.
Her guess was right. She saw Boss Dar when she entered the door of the dining area. What made her frown however was the scene she saw between Boss Dar and Draga. The latter's hand was on top of Boss Dar's hand lying on the table and they were both laughing merrily.
She was about to turn her back when Boss Dar noticed her presence. He called her name.
"Gerthel!"
She stopped with her attempt to turn her heels away from the dining area. She quickly looked into the eyes of Boss Dar, which were smiling. He motioned his head for her to come.
At that moment, Draga gave Gerthel a dead stare. She wanted to kick Gerthel for ruining her happy moment with Boss Dar.
Gerthel could not do anything but to walk forward and sit on the chair beside Boss Dar, not minding Draga's angry stare.
"Serve Gerthel with her breakfast now, Annie," Boss Dar said ordering to the maid near him.
"Yes, sir Dar. Right away," Annie bowed her head and smiled at Gerthel before she went ahead to prepare Gerthel's breakfast.

Gerthel ate her breakfast silently while Draga kept on storytelling some nonsense stuff to Boss Dar, to which the latter would just usually nods.
When they finished their breakfast, Boss Dar looked at Gerthel. “Gerthel, be ready in thirty minutes, we will leave by then. Meet me in the living room,” he said, then stood up and left. He did not even wait for Gerthel to reply.
“What was that all about?” Draga immediately asked Gerthel after Boss Dar left the dining area. She was looking at Gerthel with a lifted eyebrow.
Gerthel simply shrugged her shoulders, stood up, and then left the dining area, leaving Draga with ears oozing with anger. Gerthel did not care anymore what Draga will do the next time. “If you will hurt me Draga, then I have no other way, but to fight back,” she thought while walking away from Draga.
After changing into a comfortable yet classy yellow, knee-length dress, Gerthel, put on light make-up and lipstick.
With her feet clad in two inches of dark brown comfortable wedge sandals, she walked confidently toward the living room area. Boss Dar was not there yet when she arrived. She then sat on the couch while waiting for him.
After a while, Draga came, with a definitely more flamboyant outfit than that of Gerthel. She is wearing a red, above-the-knee, tight-fitting dress and an stilleto. She looks like going to a party.
Gerthel glanced at Draga but did not say a word. She looked away and tried to reach for a magazine from the nearby rack to read, to make herself fakingly busy.
Draga looked at Gerthel’s outfit and smirked. “Gosh, she looked so ordinary,” she muttered and chuckled thereafter.
Gerthel, who heard what the woman said, just shrugged her shoulders and continued to act as if reading the fashion magazine in her hands.
Just five minutes thereafter and Boss Dar came into the living room. He walked fast Draga and offered his right hand to Gerthel, who readily stood up and got his hand. She did not dare glance at Draga even for a millisecond as she did not want to ruin her good mood.
“Let’s go,” Boss Dar said while winking at Gerthel.
“Yes, Dar. Let’s go,” she softly said and smiled at him.
All of these had been witnessed by Draga, whose ears were starting to burn with jealousy.
"When Boss Dar and Gerthel turned their backs on Draga and started to walk to the main door of the mansion, leading to the parking area, Draga suddenly called his name.
"Boss Dar!" She then walked to approach Boss Dar and Gerthel.
Suddenly, Boss Dar and Gerthel stopped walking and faced Draga.
"Yes, Draga? Do you need something?" It was Boss Dar, who asked her with creases on his forehead.
