Chapter 83 The Miracle
Chapter 83 The Miracle
I feel a warmth unlike anything I’ve ever known.
For a moment, I think it’s a dream. My eyes flutter open, and the first thing I see is the silver light of the moon cascading across the battlefield. It bathes everything the pack, the wounded, Donald bringing a calm that feels almost divine.
Donald’s head jerks up. His eyes widen. “Clara…?”
I lift my head and take a shaky breath. My body feels… different. Strong. Light. Balanced. Fur brushes against my paws, sleek and black with streaks of gold, but it’s soft, real. I rise fully to my feet. The Black Wolf inside me hums, controlled, steady.
I blink at Donald. “I… I’m alive?” My voice is strong, confident, carrying the echo of the Black Wolf, but it’s unmistakably me.
Donald lunges forward, his muzzle pressing against mine. “You’re… you’re here!” His voice is choked, a mixture of relief and awe. “I thought… I thought I’d lost you forever!”
I nuzzle him, tears streaming down my muzzle. “I never left. The Moon… she… she gave me this… restored me. I’m fully a wolf now… truly one of the pack.”
Donald steps back slightly, circling me with cautious wonder. “Truly… fully… the Black Wolf… Luna… alive…” His words are reverent, as if he’s seeing a miracle firsthand.
I look down at myself, paws flexing, claws retracting smoothly. My body feels powerful, balanced, alive in ways I’ve only glimpsed in visions. The energy surging through me isn’t destructive it’s precise, healing, protective. The curse is gone. The Shadow Alpha is gone. And now… I am fully me.
Liam steps forward, jaw dropped. “Luna Clara… the Moon Goddess herself… restored you?”
I nod, feeling the gentle pulse of her presence still lingering in the air, comforting and affirming. “Yes. I think… she heard the bond… she saw the sacrifice… she made me whole.”
Donald lowers his head to mine again, brushing his fur against me. “Whole… stronger than ever… and still mine?”
I nuzzle him firmly, growling softly. “Always yours. But now… truly one with the pack. Truly one with the Black Wolf within me.”
The pack begins to gather around, sensing something different, something extraordinary. Wolves bow, whimper softly, some nuzzle me carefully. Even those who doubted me before step forward with cautious respect.
I step toward the center of the pack, feeling the Moon Goddess’ blessing flow through the earth, through every paw, through every heartbeat. I raise my voice, confident, steady. “Everyone, hear me! The curse is gone. I have returned restored by the Moon herself! And together, we will protect this pack, our land, and each other!”
Howls ripple through the pack, rising in a chorus of celebration and recognition. I feel their faith in me solidify, their trust complete. The Black Wolf in me hums, steady and strong, aligned fully with my heart, my mind, my bond with Donald, and my bond with the pack.
Donald nuzzles me proudly. “I watched you almost fade… and now, the Moon herself brought you back. You’ve… you’ve become more than I ever imagined.”
I shake my fur, letting the light ripple across me, letting the warmth of the Moon Goddess flow freely. “It wasn’t just me. The pack, the bond, your love… it all made this possible.”
He growls softly, brushing against my shoulder. “Love, bond… sacrifice… all of it led to this. You are a miracle, Clara. The Black Wolf, the Luna… alive, strong, unstoppable.”
I glance at the battlefield. The Shadow Alpha’s remains lie harmless, the pack heals, and the Moonlight bathes everything in silver light. I feel it in my paws, in my heart, in the bond with Donald everything is right again.
A young wolf, one of the newly healed, steps forward cautiously. “Luna… you’re… you’re really alive. Truly a wolf… strong… beautiful…”
I kneel slightly, letting her nuzzle my paws. “Yes, little one. And one day, you’ll learn that strength isn’t just in claws or teeth it’s in heart, courage, and the bond we share.”
Donald presses his muzzle against mine again, nuzzling gently. “Clara… I’ve waited for this moment… feared losing you… and now… you’re here. Whole. Alive. Mine. Ours.”
“I am,” I murmur, resting my head against his. “And we’ll face everything together from now on, no curse, no Shadow Alpha, no darkness will ever divide us.”
The Moonlight strengthens, bathing the battlefield in silver radiance. I feel the bond with the pack deepen, the Black Wolf within me steady, my energy harmonized with the land. I am no longer human trying to belong; I am fully Luna, fully Black Wolf, fully alive.
Donald’s paws wrap around mine, pulling me close. “You… are perfect. Strong, fierce, healed, unstoppable. And alive.”
I smile, letting the warmth of the Moon and Donald’s presence fill me. “Alive… and ready. For the pack… for us… for everything to come.”
The pack gathers fully around us, howling in harmony with the rising sun. I look at Donald, then at the pack, then at the Moonlight dancing across our fur.
“I am restored,” I whisper. “I am the Black Wolf. I am the Luna. And together… we are unstoppable.”
Donald growls softly, pride and love radiating in every movement. “Together… always.”
I step forward, fully wolf, fully Black Wolf, fully Luna. The battlefield is silent, healed, and alive. A miracle has happened. The Moon Goddess has restored me… and now, I truly belong, as protector, healer, mate, and leader.
Forever.
