Case closed
Natalie looks straight at Lynn, who is talking to the officer; until now, Norwan and Drixie have not yet returned, so Lynn decided to speak to the officer.
“Aren’t you going to file a case to her for what she did to you and to your unborn child?” The officer asked; Lynn shook her head and smiled. The officer sighs and leans in his chair.
“Are you scared because she is an Alpha and might get back to you after this?” The officer asked Lynn again, but Lynn shook her head again.
“I deserve it. I did something wrong with her, and she just did what she thinks I deserve,” Lynn answers. The officer looks at Natalie, watching Lynn and listening to her answer. Inside Natalie, she can’t believe that Lynn would do such a thing, stopping the case for her and not going to get revenge for what she did to her. There is something pinched her heart while looking at her friend, and it made her realize something, that Lynn was not an enemy but a true friend who would do anything for her; it’s just that temptation is the enemy here, and Lynn didn’t fight to stop the temptation she felt for Chad.
Natalie sighed and looked at the officer. If Lynn doesn’t want her to file a case, then she’s just wasting her time here; she must do something more important than being with her.
“Can I go now?” Natalie asks with her bored voice; Lynn looks at her and watches her, and the officer nods and looks at Lynn.
“You can talk to Ms. Anne before we let you go.” The officer said that before he gave space to the two and left the room, Natalie looked at Lynn, who smiled at her. Natalie just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
“It doesn’t suit you to be like that, Natalie,” Lynn said, which caused Natalie to frown and narrow her brows.
“What do you care?” Natalie asks, so Lynn chuckles.
“I used to see the old you who is not a bitch like that.” She said so Natalie’s heart suddenly softened after hearing those words. “I miss how we bond. I think we can’t make those bonds back after what happened.” Lynn’s voice suddenly became sad while she was saying those words.
“And I knew that it was my fault too, so I am sorry for ruining our bond and for hurting you, I was supposed to be your friend and your partner in every situation, but this time I became your enemy, an unexpected enemy who ruin your trust again,” Lynn said, and her tears started to form while saying those words; she felt terrible when she remembered how she slowly ruined their relationship because of a man.
Natalie, on the other hand, looks away after hearing those words; she felt sad at some point when she remembered their bond and how Lynn became her only one-call-away friend back then. But the pain that Lynn and Chad did left a vast trust issue for Natalie.
“So I am sorry, and I deserve this. I deserve what is happening in my life now, I am sorry, and I hope you still forgive me even if we are not what we used to be.” Lynn said while crying; Natalie looked up to stop her tears, but she couldn’t as it automatically dropped to her eyes.
“I’m sorry,” Lynn said, and she went closer to her to hug her. Natalie couldn’t take it anymore, so she started to cry while Lynn hugged her. She then hugged her back and began to scream out loud.
“You’re such a jerk for not fighting the temptation. How dare you hurt me like that when you already knew that I was hurt already,” Natalie said while crying. Lynn didn’t say a word; instead, she just cried while hugging her only friend, who made her feel like she was not alone back then.
On the other hand, Norwan and Drixie go outside the station to talk to each other; Norwan is so mad after knowing that Drixie is behind this and convinces Lynn to file a case with Natalie.
“What is this all about?” Norwan asks while looking at Drixie badly; Drixie just frowns and smirks.
“What? I am helping my friend to fight for her rights and give justice to her baby.” Drixie said, so Norwan closed his eyes in anger.
“Don’t put our name in this kind of situation, we ain’t belong to their problem.” Norwan said, so Drixie laughed sarcastically.
“Really? Then why are you here?” Drixie ask. “For sure you went here to be with that witch, can’t you understand that she’s a psycho who has a habit of killing the unborn child?” Drixie asks, so Norwan looks up in frustration.
“Damn you Drixie, why can’t you just let her go? For sure she has a reason and explanation behind this, one thing more is that how did you became friend with Lynn?” Norwan asked, so Drixie shook her head.
“No, I won’t If Cora let Natalie pass what she did to her then I won’t let her pass this time around, he doesn’t deserve to roam free here in our town, she’s a psycho!” Drixie shouted, and Norwan wanted to hurt her, but she couldn’t because first, she was his sister, and second, she was a woman; she couldn’t hurt a woman physically; that’s her own rule.
“Fuck off Drixie, do you really want to include our clan name to this kind of problem? Think of it, Mom needs us and she is stressed because of the South Pack attempted war with us, Natalie helps me to resolve the problem so don’t make any problem again by involving our clan name to this kind of problem.” Norwan said, so Drixie shook her head once again.
“No, you are the one who need to stop.” Drixie said. “Yes, Natalie helps you to solve the problem but it doesn’t mean that you will on her side again, I will just remind you that she’s already your Ex-Luna and your fiance is in our house waiting for your attention that you can’t even afford to give.” Drixie said, so Norwan took a sigh to calm himself.
“Go home,” Norwan said authoritatively, but Drixie didn’t scare him; instead, she went inside again, and Norwan was left alone outside. He started to lose control, and anytime now, he could drag Drixie home with them.
