Chapter 61 Where Did You Hide My Quinn?

Chapter 61 Where Did You Hide My Quinn?

Grayson's POV
It's been an hour since I sent Quinn a message. And until now, not a single reply had come in. But the message was read, which meant she already knew.
If Quinn didn't reply to the message, it means she might not have forgiven me. She might also doubt my sincerity since I only apologized through a message instead of in person.
The thing was, I also really wanted to apologize in person. However, I don't even know her current whereabouts.
All I know now is she tried to give me a gift but threw it away because I was a jerk. Other than that, I've completely lost contact with her. I even sent that message using a new number because my number was blocked.
Quinn probably considered our contract void even though I hadn't agreed and signed the document. She might unilaterally terminate the cooperation and force me to accept it too.
But I couldn't do that. I don't want to break our contract. I really don't need that penalty money. I just want her back. Never mind the penalty.
I not only want to sleep hugging the stick she gave me but I also want to hug her directly.
I need Quinn. I want her to magically appear in front of me right now. I want to apologize to her in person. I was even willing to do whatever she wanted as long as she forgave me and became my therapist again. Or if she doesn't want to be my therapist, then she can just be my girlfriend.
Besides, now mom knows about my relationship with Quinn, so I don't think there's any need to hide her from anyone anymore. Because my original purpose of hiding her was so my family wouldn't know about her, but now they know, so there's no point in hiding Quinn anymore.
I want to introduce Quinn to the world that she's my fated mate when I find her again. I'll bring her back to my penthouse, not as my therapist but as my lover. I won't make her work but if she wants to work I won't stop her either. The point is, I'll do anything for Quinn because she deserves everything from me. Aside from being an apology, it's also compensation for the hurt she feels.
Ah fuck! I really can't sleep. I want Quinn. I want to hold her in my sleep. I want to see her face when I wake up the next day.
I can't just stay still! I have to do something!

"I just want to see Owen, a resident here," I said for the umpteenth time to the security.
I was currently in Owen's apartment. How would I know? I contacted my father's secretary and asked her to look up Owen's family's address which is where they told me about this place. So that's why right now, on my own, I'm standing in front of the reception desk instead of sleeping in my room.
"I'm sorry sir, I'm just following protocol. You're not a resident of this apartment so I can't allow you to go up to meet our resident."
I grabbed my hair in frustration. I'd go crazy if I couldn't see Owen today, really. Because only that damn man currently knows Quinn's whereabouts, since he's the one who hid Quinn. I'm sure of it!
"I know who you are, but I really can't violate a user's privacy even if you say you know him, sir."
"Can't you just bend the rules this time? I mean, there's no one here and no one will know I'm here if you don't tell anyone. You are the security officer after all. Please, help me meet the person I'm talking about."
I had even lowered my prestige to beg like this. But the answer I got was just a shrug from the security.
Fuck! I don't count how many times I cursed in my heart.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down. "In that case, I just want to know if he's home or not. That's not against the rules, right? It's not like you're delivering me to him directly anyway."
The security sighed. But then he wanted to tell me. "He hasn't come back yet."
At that moment, the lobby door behind me opened. And the one who made it open was Owen.
Immediately without wasting any more time, I went over to him and pushed him out again. I grabbed him by the collar and one hand was ready to punch him in the face.
"Pfft, relax bro," he said with a laugh.
Fuck! He can still laugh? Look, after this I'm gonna make sure he never smiles again.
I landed a punch on his face that sent him flying back a few steps. I grabbed his collar again and landed a second punch on his temple. "Tell me where Quinn is, bastard! Where did you hide her, hah!"
Instead of answering me, he laughed like crazy. He even leans his face forward. "Just hit me again, a lot. I promise I won't sue you. But I will tell Quinn that my battered face is because you hit me. So she'll think you're someone who can only use your body…." He pointed at his head. "Not brains because your brain doesn't work, Grayson."
I don't care if he snitches on Quinn. Right now I wanted to teach him a lesson. So I delivered multiple punches, not only to his face but also to his stomach.
I don't know how many I hit, but it made Owen cough and bleed from his mouth.
Fuck! He’s like that because he deliberately didn't fight me. If he fought back, I'm sure he could still at least dodge.
"What's your purpose in hiding Quinn, damn it! If you have a problem with me, then deal with me! Don't involve Quinn!"
Owen wiped the blood dripping from his mouth. "You asked what I'm up to? I just want to get my ex-girlfriend back, Grayson."
Fuck! I didn't care about the security running in here. I keep kicking Owen until he bounces back and lies on the ground.
He's just pretending. He won't give in that easily. He's a sneaky fox hiding behind his role as a lawyer. The truth was, he’s nothing more than a jerk who also hurt Quinn's heart.
